“Devon was so great with my cat and took lots of photos for me, she is super kind and friendly and great with animals!I felt so much better about leaving Lucy alone for the long weekend. I decided to take a last minute trip so I wasn’t sure I was even able to find someone to check in on her but I got so lucky and am so grateful!!”

“We are very happy with Debbie's drop-in service for our beagle Joy. Debbie showed up on time for every visit as discussed and took good care of Joy during the visit. I would not hesitate to re-hire Debbie for any future pet sitting services.”

“When my husband and I brought home our puppy, Bridget, our biggest concern was how she would be cared for while we’re at work. Alice and Trey alleviated any worries and then some! They are communicative, attentive, and treat Bridget like one of their own. I can go to work with total confidence and peace of mind that she is well cared for and enjoying fresh air, exercise, and socialization. They have been nothing short of a blessing for us as our pup grows!”

About: 🔔 Owners, please read entire profile, as it contains very important information about what to expect, guidelines and requirements for your dogs stay! ***Drop off and Pick up windows must be no longer than 30 minutes*** I spent 10 years managing a large property in the Rancho Santa Fe area that had multiple breeds, sizes and ages of dogs. As part of my many managerial duties I oversaw the personal care, vet appointments and individual schedules of all of these beloved family pets. They were all an absolute joy and I’m happy to be able to offer the same level of care to your furry family members as well. ✔️New to Rover? Enjoy $20 off of your first stay! “Nataliya was incredible. She truly cared for our dog. I found her a bit last minute and she jumped right in. Sent me pictures and videos. Logged every check in and walk. We were very nervous about leaving our little guy but Nataliya’s responsiveness, attention to detail and genuine care set us at ease so we could enjoy our trip. Will definitely use her next time we need!”

About: Hi! I’m Alexa and I am from San Diego, California. While growing up, I walked to school and stopping along the way to pet each and every dog we spotted. Eventually my family adopted one of our own, Marley, and from there on out she walked to school with us every day. My love for dogs only grew from there. I would pet sit my neighbors dog when needed (vacation, late from work, etc). Their dog loved to walk but had a hip problem so we had to make his walks shorter and have him wear doggie booties. I also volunteered at Helen Woodward Animal Shelter for a number of years. I’ve been taking care of pets since high school, throughout undergrad and currently while in graduate school! Since I don’t have the time for a pet of my own, I’m more than happy to help out with yours :) Currently in my first doctorate of physical therapy clinical rotation. So I work 4 x 10’s, have Tuesdays and weekends off, would love to help out! I have ample experience cat/dog sitting, and walking or running with dogs! It’s been great taking care of others pets, the best boost to my mood during a hard grad school program
About: I have been taking care of dogs since I was 12 and have experience with all different breeds and sizes. I am an incoming medical student and looking to save up this summer before moving away! I have plenty of availability throughout the weekdays and weekends to help out whenever I am needed. I am very active and would be happy to bring your pet along on a walk or hike! I have access to a gated pet relief area, lots of grass, and a pet washing station. I am happy to ensure any safety measures you prefer for your dog!
“I cannot recommend Brianna enough as a pet sitter! She took care of my cat, Henry, while I was away, and her attentiveness and care were truly outstanding. Brianna kept me updated with regular pictures and videos, which not only let me see how happy and well-cared-for Henry was but also gave me so much peace of mind. She clearly loves what she does and took the time to make Henry feel comfortable and cared for. Knowing I could trust her completely made my time away so much easier. If you’re looking for someone reliable, compassionate, and dedicated, Brianna is absolutely the best choice. Thank you, Brianna, for going above and beyond!”

About: I have special skills in senior care and animals who need special care post surgery. I have about 3 dogs and 1 cat who are all seniors. The first dog I adopted millie was on the older side and as the years gone by I have learned and educated myself on how to properly care for senior dogs, and the most important thing I have learned is patience is key. My oldest dog millie also had multiple surgeries due to cancerous tumor that spread. Thankfully she is fine but after many surgeries I have learned the skills on how to properly take care of dogs post surgery. I also have lots of experience with kittens from my time volunteer at a feline rescue. I am a UCLA student who does this work during my summer break. I am available from beginning of june-end of september. I will also be working a job that are about 5.30 hours each shift 4 days a week. Depending on exactly what day of the week you need I can work around your schedule. My other summer job is very flexible however my shifts are usually at night. Depending on what you need I can be very flexible so we can also talk more in detail. I do not offer services for pets to stay at my home however I do travel to my clients homes. When taking care of my clients pets I make sure to prioritize safety, routine, be attentive, and cleanliness. I also make sure that all animals receive their walks and all physical activity required.
Carmel Valley pet parents share their Rover experiences
Min was fantastic with our cat Nyx. Our cat is usually very shy but Min was able to bring her out of her shell and really bond with her. She was very punctual and was very lovely with Nyx, she played with her and took care of her really well. You wouldn’t go wrong if you pick her to take care of your fur babies.

It was my first time hiring a cat sitter through Rover app, so I was pretty nervous at first. Devon made the whole experience so much easier with great communication, reliable care and regular photo updates of my cats. Thanks to her again for taking such a wonderful care of Jelly.

I am so grateful to have found Nataliya. I have a large, anxious dog that requires someone who is patient and willing to put in the extra effort to make him feel comfortable. Nataliya is very knowledgeable about dog behavior and even helped me with some training guidance. I will definitely be a repeat client, highly recommend!

Hanna is our go to for drop-in’s for our kitty while on vacation. Our cat instantly snuggles up with Hanna — she has a special way with pets! She’s very responsible and goes above and beyond to keep a watchful eye for anything related to your pet’s wellness!

Eli was incredibly professional, attentive, and kind. Her detailed updates and cute photos gave me complete peace of mind while I was away. My cat was clearly well cared for, and I came home to a clean, tidy space. I would absolutely book Eli again. My cat adored her.

Danielle was amazing!! It was our first time leaving our 3 puppies so we were a little worried. She came over before our trip, understood our normal routine, and got to meet the pups. She gave updates the whole time and even sent photos and videos. I would highly recommend her and will definitely use her in the future to care for our puppies while we out out of town- if she is free!
