“Alana and her husband were so amazing to Sadie! Sadie is normally a little timid at first but when I picked her up she didn’t want to go! She had a great time and I would definitely recommend Alana to anyone in the future. Her and her husband are total dog people!!”

About: Wondering why my rate might be different than another sitter’s? Rover takes a huge portion of the price you see listed. Please feel free to message me about services i can provide or waive; and I am more than willing to negotiate a fair price depending on the level of care your pup needs! I am able to provide a luxury boarding service at a beautiful, large, home with a massive pet safe backyard! We even have a pool if your pup loves to swim. I provide basic training (unless you prefer I don’t!) and I have a bachelors in art from a prestigious university- so I will provide as many photos and videos as you’d like for free- and can also offer photo shoot and portrait painting (either digital or traditional) services, which can be great for getting your pup at their most comfortable when meeting a photographer or painter! I can provide one on one time, I never leave dogs alone unless requested, and I provide your dog all the cuddles and playtime they want! Since it can be better for both me and you, we can negotiate rates for all services based on your preferences- I won’t ask you to pay for something your pup wouldn’t benefit from! I am American Red cross Cat and Dog First Aid certified, updated very recently. I’ve taken care of my family pets since I was four years old, and got my first dog of my own, a teacup yorkie named Sophie, who was my support dog when I was around 13 years old. Ever since then I’ve had a wonderful support dog named Tommy, and now I currently am training my dog Stevie and my puppy, Chloe to be psychiatric service dogs, working with a professional trainer who thinks I’m a natural! I am a great trainer and I am more than happy to offer that service if you’d like, but i’m not a certified trainer yet! I know pet first aid and cpr. I also had another puppy who lived for just under a year, who passed during a routine anesthesia procedure, which was devastating, but now I know she lives on in my puppy Chloe. I am disabled (chronic lower back pain) but i have mobility aids, can walk around your home/my home unaided, can carry small dogs if requested, and can take your pup out as many times as you’d like. I have a HUGE backyard with plenty of grass, and so I can play with the pups/be outside with them as much as you’d like! Currently in the house here I have Stevie and Chloe, but they can be crated/in a separate part of the house as much as you’d like. I will have one of my parents home so they can keep them 100% completely out of sight if that’s your preference! I’m looking to become a dogsitter because, honestly, dogs are my favorite, and i love connecting with dogs with positive reinforcement and love! I’m so beyond excited for the opportunity to meet your dogs! (And maybe even paint them for you, too!) I currently work remotely part time so i’ll be home all day and all night, and i make my own hours so I can take pretty much any job, any time, for any length of time. When i’m at home without any other pups here, I take care of my dogs Stevie and Chloe full time. They sleep with me (unless you’d rather your pup sleep up here!) so have special puppy guards on the bed so they don’t accidentally fall off while they sleep up here ever! If you’d like, i can keep my dogs with one of my parents so your pups don’t interact. I have a big fenced yard that not even the smallest puppy could get out from! I have two extremely well behaved soon to be service dogs that i’m currently training, They are very small Yorkies, Stevie is 6 years old and about 7 pounds, and Chloe is 5 months and about 2.5 pounds. They can be involved as much or as little as you prefer, but all dogs in our home need to be fully vaccinated please. In your home, I would do everything a dog needs, I’d make sure water is full and available 24/7, i’d take your pups out for playing/potty breaks as often as you’d prefer, i’d feed them and give medication if needed (i have lots of experience giving puppies, adult, and senior dogs medications!) If you let me know your preferences, i’m sure i can treat your dog with so much care and love, and help them feel their routines aren’t too different then they are with you, if that’s your preference! And I LOVE dog cuddles, and cat cuddles! Also, my brother is a vet tech that works at Rancho Bernardo Vetrinary Clinic so I have him, my vet, and my trusted vet emergency hospital all on speed dial, just in case! If needed I can hop in a car and take your pups to the park, the vet, the er, to get groomed, etc. (I will never put your dog in my car without consent, of course!!)
“I needed a place for my fur baby to stay while my housekeepers were cleaning and I contacted Ruda. He responded right away and was able to provide daycare for my dog with 24 hour notice. You can tell Ruda is a "dog person" and he took very good care of my boy and took him on walks even though he didn't have a very long stay at his home. Drop off and pick up was super easy too. Thanks Ruda! We will be coming back again.”
“I usually don’t like to leave my dog with strangers but I’m so glad someone like Claire is able to take care of my boy, and show him love. Claire is very loving and responsive. I’d definitely take any pet to her before anyone else on this app. I can tell my dog loves going over there with her!”

About: I have had dogs all my life and have worked in dog rescue for 3 years doing foster care, screening and medical care and coordination. I have a home with a secure yard and will supervise your dog at all times. I will accept dogs that are 22 lbs and under and get along well with other dogs. I am 90% retired and am home most of the time. I am available most days and evenings. My resident dog is a 12lb 6 yr old Maltese mix. I have a house in Carmel Valley with a secure fenced yard . Dogs will always be supervised closely when outside. I have plenty of options for your dog to play and chill in the house. They can lounge on the couches or dog beds. The dog is never crated unless they desire it and enjoy it as a safe space.
“We just love Kimberly and her pups. I always feel Henry is in loving hands. She really is super kind and loves the dogs so much. Really happy to have found her.”

“Ehda was very sweet and very accommodating. My dog responded to her very well. Ehda sent us pics of our dog while we were away. I really couldn’t have been more happy with her service and demeanor. I would definitely use her again, and I would recommend her to anyone who needs a pet sitter.”

“I am thrilled to have found Deborah on Rover. My little newly adopted rescue dog has separation anxiety and I’ve needed to have her in daycare several times a week. Deborah and her family and dog, Teddy, have provided a second home for my pup. She has thrived in the safe, caring, loving environment of their home. Deborah is reliable and responsive, and has been very accommodating to my needs. She is cheerful, friendly and kind, always giving me peace of mind while I’m away.”
About: I have always had pets growing up as a child and my love for them has grown into my adulthood even more. I have a passion for learning and understanding all different types of animals. My experience in Pet Care is from having my own pets and caring for family and friends. I am pretty open nowadays. Ready to take care of your furry babies as much as needed! Also, have my helpers ( my kids off school, are ready to help)! Right now I am open to come and take care of your pets! Always willing to come first to get to know your pets, and introduce myself. Folowing the rules and instructions- that’s number one priority. Safety, Trust, Care and Love only!
About: I’m a dog mom with many years of experience taking good care of pups of all ages and sizes. I work from home with an extremely friendly dog of my own so your dog will have company all day and night! I work fully remote with a flexible schedule. Your dog will always get a morning walk with mine, potty breaks whenever needed, and I can accommodate any feeding schedule. I’m available to provide daycare and board most weekdays and most weekends. I have a fenced backyard patio for potty breaks and time outside. Your pup will have free rein in the house with a doggy playmate. I generally do not crate or cage my dog when I’m out of the house, but can separate your pup as needed based on your requirements. I have cameras in my home for monitoring so I can always check what the pups are up to!
“Danielle was great! Very responsive and went out of her way to make sure I felt comfortable leaving my pup with her! He had a great time at her place and came back so tired from playing all day (exactly what I wanted!). She sent pictures/videos throughout the day too!”

“Christy did an awesome job watching my dog - she was great with communication and sent so many pictures and videos while he was there! The second day pulling onto her street, he got soo excited in the car that he was coming back and having the closed in backyard was great for my energetic dog, would definitely recommend!”

“Sophie is great! She is caring and attentive. Maisy enjoyed her week playing with Snow and hanging out. I felt super comfortable that Maisy was well cared for. She came home exhausted from an active day with her new friends!”

“We all know that finding a great sitter can be a bit challenging due to wanting only the best for our pets. Well look no further!! Angelina was very kind and very easy to communicate with throughout the day. Prior to dropping of Cloud (my dog), she asked a series of questions to insure the safety and overall well being for him which exemplified validity. Also, she provided plenty of amenities”
“Harriet had a fantastic day with Lena and the 2 other dogs she had for company today! She was very reliable with her communication and sent adorable photo updates. We also appreciate the time Lena took for our meet and greet, where her patience and love to care for everyone’s furry family members really shined through. Thank you again Lena; we’d love to use you again in the future!”

“I’m so glad we found Caitlin. She was super flexible and available for us bright and early. She was also the perfect calm our puppy needed. I could tell my puppy was very excited to go back to her home.”

“Nicole was amazing! Kobe had so much fun playing and I was not anxious at all leaving him. I got cute picture updates the entire time I was at work and loved every single one of them!”

Always sooo happy with Bisou’s stays with Kimberly. She is a dream pup-sitter—so attentive, caring, and kind! Bisou appears to have his doggie smile on whenever she sends pictures—which are many and also just sooo cute! It’s great to see him looking so happy and relaxed when he stays with her and her adorably sweet pups; we have no hesitation booking her again and again!🐶💕💕🙂

I usually don’t like to leave my dog with strangers but I’m so glad someone like Claire is able to take care of my boy, and show him love. Claire is very loving and responsive. I’d definitely take any pet to her before anyone else on this app. I can tell my dog loves going over there with her!

Ehda was very sweet and very accommodating. My dog responded to her very well. Ehda sent us pics of our dog while we were away. I really couldn’t have been more happy with her service and demeanor. I would definitely use her again, and I would recommend her to anyone who needs a pet sitter.

Anna was very professional and quick to respond. She sent tons of photos and updates, and her calm and welcoming demeanor really put my shy girl at ease. As a worrier, I absolutely loved the safety of the fenced-in yard. We’ll definitely be using Anna again!

Ruda was great with our Vinnie! Drop off and pick up were easy. I appreciate how organized he is with instructions and requests prior to drop off. It made for a much more seamless transition. I got pictures throughout the day and Vinnie was happy when I picked him up. I would recommend Ruda and will definitely be using him in the future! Thank you for taking great care of our boy!

Marietta and ZU Zu are excellent pet sitters. This was Simba’s first time at a sitter and I learned a lot about his behaviors. Marietta did everything to make Simba comfortable, went above and beyond. Her house and yard is safe for pets. I well recommend her. She is god sent. I couldn’t thank her enough for the lengths she went accommodating Simba.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I originally hired Sophira for dog sitting, but what Mila and I have gained from this experience has been absolutely life-changing. 🙏 Mila has worked with several trainers before — she went through initial, intermediate, and advanced puppy training and passed them all with flying colors. But after a cross-country move, she developed reactivity issues that no one seemed to be able to help with. I tried multiple positive-only trainers and even the e-collar approach, but nothing made a lasting difference. Sophira not only cared for Mila while I worked, but he also took the time to guide us through her behavior challenges. He introduced me to using a prong collar the correct way — something I was initially nervous about — and it has truly been a game changer. Mila is calmer, more confident, and I barely have to make corrections anymore. He sends updates and pictures of Mila calmly hanging out around other dogs, which I never thought would be possible for her. She even tolerates my two German Shepherds now! What started as simple dog sitting has turned into something so much more — genuine training, structure, and peace of mind. I can’t thank Sophira enough for what he’s accomplished with my stubborn Frenchie. If you’re looking for someone who truly cares, understands dogs, and delivers real results, he’s the one. 🐾❤️

Gibbs and Hamilton had a wonderful time spending the day with Patricia, Boston and her family. We received updates and photos during our time away. She took them on walks and to the dog park. We would definitely use her again; she lives very close to us as well, which is a big convenience. Last time she did drop in care and this time they stayed at her house; both arrangements worked out well.
