I have over six years of hands-on experience caring for animals. I’ve worked with rescue groups and participated in multiple animal rescue efforts, so I’m comfortable handling shy, stressed, or newly rescued cats or dogs and helping them adjust safely to new environments. I’m especially experienced with young kittens and puppy — feeding, monitoring health, socialization, and recognizing early warning signs if something isn’t right. I’m patient, detail-oriented, and understand that every cat has a different personality and comfort level. My goal is always to make pets feel safe, calm, and well cared for while their owners are away.

Yating was amazing with our mini Australian shepherd! She did a meet and greet with us a few days before boarding, and our dog immediately gravitated toward her, which is not very common with our dog given she can be a bit apprehensive with meeting new people. Yating was extremely accommodating and kept us up to date the entire time. Already planning to have our dog stay with her again next month!
Yating was so great with my dog Joey and he loves her! Our first time boarding with her was so well we definitely will go back to her again. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I follow their normal routine as closely as possible to reduce stress — including feeding schedules, litter or potty habits, medication if needed, and playtime. I keep the environment clean, monitor behavior and health, and send updates so owners feel reassured while away. If pets stay in my home, I provide a calm, safe environment with close supervision, regular feeding, enrichment, and plenty of attention. I’m experienced with cats, kittens, and rescue animals, so I’m patient with shy pets and attentive to early signs of illness or stress. My priority is always to make pets feel secure, comfortable, and well cared for.
A typical day
I enjoy engaging pets with activities that match their personality and energy level. For dogs, I provide regular walks, playtime with toys, and gentle training reinforcement. For cats, I offer interactive play, enrichment toys, and quiet cuddle time to keep them happy, stimulated, and comfortable.
