I have over six years of hands-on experience caring for animals. I’ve worked with rescue groups and participated in multiple animal rescue efforts, so I’m comfortable handling shy, stressed, or newly rescued cats or dogs and helping them adjust safely to new environments. I’m especially experienced with young kittens and puppy — feeding, monitoring health, socialization, and recognizing early warning signs if something isn’t right. I’m patient, detail-oriented, and understand that every cat has a different personality and comfort level. My goal is always to make pets feel safe, calm, and well cared for while their owners are away.

So happy I found Yating! She’s super sweet and very communicative. My dog is shy and usually scared of new people but became very quickly acquainted with her. I received daily updates and photos. Definitely will continue to use her to watch my fur baby 🥰

Yating provided daily updates and was great with my cat, who was shy at first and then immediately was her true self: very affectionate and needing of a lot of human attention/interaction. I was gone for 9 days and Paloma seemed happy as ever when I got her back. I have boarded her a facility before and was dismayed by how depressed she seemed when I picked her up, even after short stays. I’ll definitely be boarding her with a sitter from now on! She’s so much happier.

When caring for pets in a client’s home, I follow their normal routine as closely as possible to reduce stress — including feeding schedules, litter or potty habits, medication if needed, and playtime. I keep the environment clean, monitor behavior and health, and send updates so owners feel reassured while away. If pets stay in my home, I provide a calm, safe environment with close supervision, regular feeding, enrichment, and plenty of attention. I’m experienced with cats, kittens, and rescue animals, so I’m patient with shy pets and attentive to early signs of illness or stress. My priority is always to make pets feel secure, comfortable, and well cared for.

I enjoy engaging pets with activities that match their personality and energy level. For dogs, I provide regular walks, playtime with toys, and gentle training reinforcement. For cats, I offer interactive play, enrichment toys, and quiet cuddle time to keep them happy, stimulated, and comfortable.
