Booking with Shawna ended up being one of the best decisions we made during our trip. She also has a friendly dog of her own and thoughtfully introduced them. They spent the day walking, sunbathing, playing, and cuddling, and it was obvious my Frenchie felt safe, happy, and loved. If you're on the fence about using Rover or booking with Shawna, don't be. Our own beloved pit bull passed at the end of 2025, and welcoming other dogs into our home feels especially meaningful to us. Our only current pet is a friendly conure bird, who is safely housed and will never be left unsupervised around visiting pets.

You can tell Ruda is a "dog person" and he took very good care of my boy and took him on walks even though he didn't have a very long stay at his home. Drop off and pick up was super easy too.
