“Tetiana (Tanya) was amazing! Our dog is 18 years old, deaf and has separation anxiety and has dementia. We had to go out of town, and since he does not travel well, opted to have a sitter for the first time. Tanya loved him like he was her own. She gave us constant updates and photos. I could tell from the photos that he was very comfortable around her which is not an easy feat. Tanya has a very kind and warm energy and we couldn’t be more pleased. We will definitely be booking her again for our next vacation. Thank you, Tanya!”
“Josette watched our two GSDs in our home while we were away. First time having her sit for us and will definitely be rebooking! Communication was wonderful and she included daily pictures updates. Any issues that came up she was quick to ask, however, kept conversation to morning/evenings which was nice to not interfere with our trip. She left our home better than she found it I’m sure and our dogs were loved and well taken care of the entire time we were gone. Josette gave us real peace of mind while we travelled!!”

“Luis was the first sitter we’ve ever used on Rover and we continue to use him whenever we can! He truly gives us a peace of mind while we are away knowing our dogs are in great care. Thanks always Luis”

“Emily did a great job watching our two pups. We recently had a baby and the dogs loved having individual attention and cuddle time with her while we were out of town. We came home to happy pups and a clean house. We would absolutely use Emily again.”

“Yena did a wonderful job taking care of my two young kitties while I was away for a few days. She followed instructions ensuring that they stayed on their feeding schedules and had enough play time during the day. I received many updates/photos on how my cats were doing. I felt at ease leaving her with my cats. I would definitely recommend her services and consider again in the future.”

“Only great things to say. Annalise treated our dogs like they are her own. They took to her immediately. She was willing to come meet us a couple of times before our weekend away, so that the dogs would feel comfortable with her which likely made all the difference. We are already booking more visits!”

About: I offer a unique blend of scientific precision and deep compassion for your pets. For two years, I fostered shy and anxious dogs for the Helen Woodward Animal Center (HWAC). Getting accepted into their program required passing a rigorous vetting process, including interviews, home visits, and specialized training. Through HWAC, I gained extensive experience caring for rescues with complex medical and behavioral needs, including parasites, severe dental issues, and anxiety. I also provided essential behavior and obedience training to help these dogs thrive. Before fostering dogs, I was the proud owner of a diabetic cat for five years. I am completely comfortable with advanced medical care, including tracking blood glucose with a glucometer, administering subcutaneous insulin injections twice daily, and giving oral medications. My background as a scientist allows me to communicate clearly and effectively with veterinarians and clinic staff, ensuring your pet's medical instructions are followed perfectly. Because I currently have no pets of my own and am taking a hiatus from work, I have total availability. I look forward to devoting 100% of my time, skills, and love to your companion here in the San Diego area! 24/7 Flexible Availability (Evenings & Weekends Included) Because I am currently on a professional hiatus, your pet becomes my primary focus. I have complete schedule flexibility to accommodate your exact routine, including early mornings, late evenings, weekends, and holidays. Unlike sitters juggling a traditional 9-to-5, I am available for mid-day medical checks, precise feeding times, and extended companionship. Whether you need standard drop-ins or a dedicated presence to ease an anxious pet's separation anxiety, my open schedule allows me to be there whenever you or your pet need me most. Specialized In-Home Care for Your Pet's Comfort I provide premium, attentive care exclusively inside your pet's own home, where they already feel safest and most comfortable. Because I live in a yard-free condominium, I choose not to offer boarding. Instead, I bring my extensive medical and behavioral experience directly to your doorstep. This setup ensures your pet’s routine remains completely uninterrupted, eliminating the stress of a new environment. Whether your cat requires precise, timely insulin injections or your dog needs a patient, structured potty schedule, I adapt entirely to your home's setup. Your pet gets 100% of my focus in the environment they love best, giving you total peace of mind while you are away.

About: Hello! I am an animal lover who has recently relocated to the SD area. I regularly have sat for family, friends, and word of mouth recommendations for over a decade. I have cared for pets as small as tree frogs to a home with multiple large pit bull mixes, to a diabetic cat in need of insulin injections twice a day. Whatever type of pet you have I promise to love them as much as I love my own! I am currently at home full time. I regularly take walks to get out of the house and would love to have a companion join me! I love animals and couldn’t imagine spending my day in a better way than with them! I do have my own cat which means for multi day jobs I would occasionally want to visit her (my partner is there to care for her) but I am available to spend majority of the time at a clients home. I have a fenced back yard for your animal to run around in. I would keep your pet in the living room and kitchen are with me while I leave the bedrooms for my cat. I love going on walks so I will be more than happy to take your dogs out with me ( no dog parks or off leash areas).
“April was great watching my Australian Shepard! He's an active pup and I loved the he was still able to get his usual amount of steps in. I also appreciated the photo updates”

“Luciana did a great job watching my standard poodle, Henri. She was very regular in communication, sending multiple photos each day. I feel like he was well taken care of during my vacation and I'd be happy to have her watch Henri again.”

You can tell she really cares Louie was so happy and well taken care of when I got back. It gave me so much peace of mind knowing he was in such good hands. Highly recommend! :) 💗”

About: I've worked at doggy daycares in the past, I've taken care of multiple friends' pets before, and I had the absolute pleasure of raising my own dog from a puppy until her death at the age of 13. I work a full-time 8-5 job, but I love taking care of pets after work, during my breaks, or on the weekends. On weekends and after work, I will stay for as long as you wish me to. I always make sure to ask what the pets favorite toys are, their feeding schedule, any medications they need, and if they have a walking schedule. I make sure to take them out to use the bathroom as frequently as possible, and make sure that they have plenty of water.
“Debbie was a wonderful sitter for our doodle puppy. We were visiting San Diego for the weekend, and hired Debbie for a few hours to watch Mozzie at our Airbnb while we went out to dinner. Mozzie and Debbie clicked instantly, which put us at ease to enjoy our evening! She was very easy to communicate with, flexible when we shifted our booking times around, sent pictures throughout the evening, took him on a walk, and even accommodated Mozzie’s funky eating habits. We will definitely call Debbie again for our next San Diego trip!”

“I had a wonderful experience with Val! She was reliable, communicative, and clearly cared for my dog as if it was her own. I received regular updates and photos, which gave me peace of mind while I was away. I would absolutely recommend Val to anyone looking for a trustworthy and caring dog sitter, and I will definitely be using her services again.”

About: Hey! My name is Antonia. I grew up house/pet sitting for friends/family and I really enjoyed it. I go on walks with my mom and two dogs almost everyday at OB dog beach. We have an australian cattle dog mix and a frenchie/staffy mix. They also have plenty of friends at the beach! I am currently home full time, so I can accommodate you and your animals needs! I am currently home full time and have a very flexible schedule! I am available same day for drop ins or house sitting when needed. I live in a quiet neighborhood and could walk around my neighborhood or explore your own! I am very flexible and want to make you and your dog/cat feel comfortable.
“Patricia was fantastic with our rambunctious golden retriever puppy and older cat. She sent consistent updates to make sure we were in the loop while we were out of town and asked questions to clarify anything that we missed in our instructions. She was also very professional and flexible when we had some challenges with getting her access to our building. It looked like our fur-kids had a fantastic time, and we would absolutely book Patricia again!”

“Bob was an amazing sitter for our corgi and husky! He was on time for both the meet & greet and the actual booking, and was very professional and kind throughout the entire experience. He sent us multiple daily updates, photos, and videos, and it was clear both dogs were getting lots of playtime, attention, and love. Our corgi usually gets extra emotional when we come home, but this time she seemed so happy and relaxed, which really showed us how well cared for they were. Our house was also left in great condition. We’re very happy with Bob and will definitely book with him again!”

Cara was a wonderful Petsitter and lovely, sweet person. She took excellent care of our baby, Kiki and it was clear that Kiki adored Cara. She send us videos often and was quick to respond to texts. The house was nice and clean when we got home. We would definitely use Cara again.

Yaxsarie has been the best caretaker to our one year old German shepherd. Our dog is adopted and has separation anxiety from previous trauma. We asked Yaxsarie to watch our dog on very short notice and she was immediately responsive and fully available to help, filling in every need we had. Her warm demeanor made my dog feel comfortable immediately and she put our minds at ease. She has watched our dog in our home and is respectful, clean and tidy. I would highly recommend Yaxsarie and am so grateful for her professional care of our dog.

Charlotte responded to a last minute request, and was super professional. She took excellent care of my two dogs, one of which was a new nervous rescue. Both dogs warmed up to Charlotte quickly. My newer rescue was not fully potty trained, but Charlotte took the dogs out to potty often, and fed them per the instructions. I would definitely recommend Charlotte to care for your pets and would trust her again with my dogs. A+++++
