About: I have lived with furry friends my whole life, lending me years of firsthand experiences dealing with dog and cat ownership from little babies to senior animals and I am familiar with the special care needs that come with different age groups. In addition to dog and cat sitting for family I have several years of experience on Rover providing walking and house sitting care. Every animal has such a vibrant and unique personality and I can't wait to meet yours!
“Celine has been so great and especially when having to book last minute she seems to always be able to fit us in. My dog is bigger and she does great with him. She’s super reliable and would 100% recommend her.”

“Sara is the best! I have two dogs and one pulls, and she’s been amazing walking both of them. She is so sweet and very considerate of my home. She is quick to respond and sends the best updates whenever she walks my pups. Highly recommend booking with Sara!”

“Grace is professional and a very sweet, young lady. Harley Quinn loves her and looks forward to the next time. We both HIGHLY recommend her services!! Thank you, Grace!!!”

About: I have been working at a pet store for 2 years and a pet hotel for 1. Many friends and family ask me to watch their pets and reptiles too. I am currently unemployed so i will have a lot of free time until August. I don’t have many activities other than some soccer and softball to stay active. But help keep my stamina up for long walks. I am very respectful of people’s personal belongings. I believe in security and open communication between pet parents. I am here to serve your pet and your pet deserves my full attention in my care.
About: While I’ve only had pets of my own for the past two years, I've always loved animals. I didn’t grow up with pets, but I was always the one playing with my friends’ and roommates’ dogs and cats. Two years, I finally felt ready to adopt. Now I’m a proud dog and cat mom! I totally get how important it is to feel confident leaving your pets with someone. I’ll treat your pets like my own and make sure they’re safe, happy, and well cared for while you’re away. I’m super flexible with my schedule and will always put their needs (and your peace of mind!) first. I go into my local office four days a week (just a quick 5-minute drive). I’m home by noon, which means I still have plenty of time to take my dog Lucy to our neighborhood park for a good sniff session. My job is flexible, and I’m able to work from home when needed, so I can easily adjust my schedule to care for your pets too. I have two cats and one dog at home, for everyone's safety I would not bring your pets to my home as to make sure they're getting my undivided attention when I am with them. Safety is always first and I will make sure to follow your intrustictions to ensure you feel comfortable with your pets.
“It was our first time on Rover and Luciana was so kind enough to meet with our pup a couple of days before. We were worried about our pup having separation anxiety because we were going back to the office 4 days a week now.Shadow enjoyed the visits and was very glad to see her for his walks. Luciana made us feel comfortable and communicated well and promptly. We will definitely be booking Luciana for as long as she is available 🙂”

“Chaminie took really excellent care of our Spikey boy. She gave timely updates after their walks and always played with him at home. I would 100% recommend her to a friend and will def book her again!”

About: I’ve been caring for dogs for 6 years and treat every pet like family. I’m patient, dependable, and experienced with puppies, senior dogs, and different personalities and energy levels. I make sure pets feel safe, comfortable, loved, and well cared for while their owners are away. Whether it’s walks, playtime, medication routines, or extra attention for anxious pets, I always focus on giving each dog personalized care and lots of affection. Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine because I genuinely enjoy spending time with animals. I make time throughout the day for walks, feeding schedules, playtime, and giving pets plenty of attention and care. I’m organized, reliable, and flexible with my schedule, which helps me make sure every pet gets the time, patience, and care they deserve. I always make sure pets feel safe, comfortable, and cared for whether I’m in my home or a client’s home. I follow each pet’s normal routine closely, including feeding schedules, walks, playtime, medication if needed, and any special instructions from the owner. I keep a clean, calm, and pet-friendly environment and always pay close attention to pets to make sure they’re happy and safe. I also provide updates and photos so owners can feel comfortable knowing their pets are in good hands.

About: I've taken care of family dogs and I've volunteered at the rescue shelter "A way home for dogs" in San Diego. The volunteering mostly involves watching and restraining dogs as we got them acclimated to crowds of people. Currently free for the summer, so I'll have plenty of time to care for pets. I have no significant other commitments throughout the week. No children or other pets in my apartment. I'll dog walk and play with them. I live in a apartment complex with a friendly pet policy.
About: I can understand the sometimes uneasy feeling of leaving your four legged family member with someone else. That’s where I come in! I will be your pet’s new best friend and take care of them with the love and care that I would for my own - making sure runners don’t escape, that your daschund is picked up mindfully of their back, your maltipoo’s coat is maintained, your anxious dog is approached with gentleness and patience. No pet care is one-size-fits all and I will customize your pet’s experience to their individualized needs and desires. I have over 10 years of experience with dog sitting both large and small dogs. I am experienced with handling horses (so I am not afraid of large animals.) Behavioral correction is the priority and I may be a small person, but if your dog pulls, I can lift 145+ lbs. I have experience from training puppies all the way up to senior dog care. I can care for senior dogs and accommodate to any mobility issues as well! I care for the safety and emotional wellbeing of all animals and provide compassionate care. I’m excited to meet my new friend! Let me know if there any questions or concerns I can address and we can work on a game plan for your little one. Depending on the day I may be available throughout the morning/afternoon/evening. Generally house sitting is available every day. Weekend availability varies but I can be accommodating based on scheduling requirements. I offer care in the client’s home only as of right now, and can provide excursions for extra enrichment as needed. I can help with exercising active dogs in an effective manner this way.

About: I offer a unique blend of scientific precision and deep compassion for your pets. For two years, I fostered shy and anxious dogs for the Helen Woodward Animal Center (HWAC). Getting accepted into their program required passing a rigorous vetting process, including interviews, home visits, and specialized training. Through HWAC, I gained extensive experience caring for rescues with complex medical and behavioral needs, including parasites, severe dental issues, and anxiety. I also provided essential behavior and obedience training to help these dogs thrive. Before fostering dogs, I was the proud owner of a diabetic cat for five years. I am completely comfortable with advanced medical care, including tracking blood glucose with a glucometer, administering subcutaneous insulin injections twice daily, and giving oral medications. My background as a scientist allows me to communicate clearly and effectively with veterinarians and clinic staff, ensuring your pet's medical instructions are followed perfectly. Because I currently have no pets of my own and am taking a hiatus from work, I have total availability. I look forward to devoting 100% of my time, skills, and love to your companion here in the San Diego area! 24/7 Flexible Availability (Evenings & Weekends Included) Because I am currently on a professional hiatus, your pet becomes my primary focus. I have complete schedule flexibility to accommodate your exact routine, including early mornings, late evenings, weekends, and holidays. Unlike sitters juggling a traditional 9-to-5, I am available for mid-day medical checks, precise feeding times, and extended companionship. Whether you need standard drop-ins or a dedicated presence to ease an anxious pet's separation anxiety, my open schedule allows me to be there whenever you or your pet need me most. Specialized In-Home Care for Your Pet's Comfort I provide premium, attentive care exclusively inside your pet's own home, where they already feel safest and most comfortable. Because I live in a yard-free condominium, I choose not to offer boarding. Instead, I bring my extensive medical and behavioral experience directly to your doorstep. This setup ensures your pet’s routine remains completely uninterrupted, eliminating the stress of a new environment. Whether your cat requires precise, timely insulin injections or your dog needs a patient, structured potty schedule, I adapt entirely to your home's setup. Your pet gets 100% of my focus in the environment they love best, giving you total peace of mind while you are away.
About: I have taken care of animals for as long as I can remember, from dogs of my own to caring for friends and family pets over the years! I am new to the Rover community, however I am constantly around animals and having to commit myself to taking care of them. I am comfortable around all dogs and am willing to adapt and learn how to best care for your animal. When it comes to taking care of, playing with, and walking your dogs, I will dedicate my time to loving them. I would love to be able to take them to the dog park where they can also interact with other animals while you're away! I have a family dog who is a Shih Tzu mix - always so full of energy and chaos! I am currently working part time elsewhere but I’m available for drop ins or house sittings when needed! I am also flexible and can accept last minute bookings. When in your home, I would love to take your fur babies for walks, to dog parks, anything you already do with them to make them the most comfortable! I’m currently working part time as a personal assistant which means that my schedule is pretty flexible! My fridays-mondays are typically free and I can absolutely carve out time in the evenings for your needs! I am very comfortable with safe guarding pets. I have had to handle fairly large dogs in the past and know how to gently avoid trouble if needed, as well as maintaining a safe and friendly environment.

“Bebo was an excellent walker for our dog Spike! Very easy to communicate with and left thoughtful and descriptive summaries of the visits. Felt very much like our pup was in capable hands and we would definitely recommend!”

About: I am a dog lover with 10+ years experience caring for dogs of all kinds! I’m always the first to volunteer for friends and family and treat every dog like they’re my own. As someone who’s had dogs, I know how important it is to trust the person caring for your pet and know they’re getting the best care. I work fully remote so I have a very flexible care schedule! I am able to step out during the day for walks, drop-ins, and will be home with your pet all day if I’m sitting. I have a small yard for easy bathroom breaks and live in a safe, residential neighborhood. I’m also happy to go where your pet is most comfortable. My first priority is knowing your pet is happy, comfortable, and safe.

Needing to find someone on short-notice, Michelle came through with the assist! First time booking with her, yet already can sense the reliability, communication and care that gives peace of mind when having to be away. Elli and I both really appreciate you taking her out for her midday potty break - thanks again!

Jennifer is hands down the best! She’s punctual, super flexible, and treats our dogs like her own. Our Bulldog and American Bully get so excited every time she comes by. It’s such a relief knowing they’re being cared for by someone so kind and dependable. I am a repeat customer for a reason!

I truly can’t say enough good things about Luciana. She consistently goes above and beyond, especially with the amazing photos and videos she sends of my fur baby while I’m at work—it gives me so much peace of mind. She’s also an excellent communicator, which makes such a difference. I always feel confident that my baby is safe and well cared for with her. From the very first meeting, my dog jumped right into her arms and gave her nonstop kisses—which honestly tells you everything you need to know ❤️
