About: I have take care of cats and dogs of different ages and different temperaments since I was 16. I enjoy walking and spending time with them. I am currently working part-time and looking to spend my spare time looking after your pets. I am available in the mornings and on weekends. I can care for your pets in your home. I am also available to walk your dogs as well. I can care for both big dogs and small dogs as well as cats.

I am comfortable with feeding, fresh water, habitat cleaning, exercise, enrichment, safe handling, and following detailed care instructions. I also studied animal behavior and animal evolution at UC San Diego and completed a supervised animal behavior project. I am patient, dependable, and attentive to changes in appetite, energy, mobility, and behavior. I treat every pet according to their individual routine, comfort level, and personality. I provide drop-in pet care in clients’ homes and can work around each pet’s established routine. My availability varies by day, but I am flexible for scheduled visits, feeding, playtime, litter box care, and check-ins. I communicate clearly with owners and confirm all visit times in advance. I care for pets in their own homes, where they can remain comfortable in a familiar environment. I carefully follow feeding, medication, entry, and household instructions, keep doors and gates secure, respect the client’s home, and provide updates after each visit. I also monitor appetite, energy, litter box use, and behavior for any noticeable changes.

About: I have taken care of animals for as long as I can remember, from dogs of my own to caring for friends and family pets over the years! I am new to the Rover community, however I am constantly around animals and having to commit myself to taking care of them. I am comfortable around all dogs and am willing to adapt and learn how to best care for your animal. When it comes to taking care of, playing with, and walking your dogs, I will dedicate my time to loving them. I would love to be able to take them to the dog park where they can also interact with other animals while you're away! I have a family dog who is a Shih Tzu mix - always so full of energy and chaos! I am currently working part time elsewhere but I’m available for drop ins or house sittings when needed! I am also flexible and can accept last minute bookings. When in your home, I would love to take your fur babies for walks, to dog parks, anything you already do with them to make them the most comfortable! I’m currently working part time as a personal assistant which means that my schedule is pretty flexible! My fridays-mondays are typically free and I can absolutely carve out time in the evenings for your needs! I am very comfortable with safe guarding pets. I have had to handle fairly large dogs in the past and know how to gently avoid trouble if needed, as well as maintaining a safe and friendly environment.

About: I’ve taken care of animals all my life. From reptiles, fish, bunnies/guinea pigs, cats and dogs! From babies to seniors My longest boarding was 1.5 months. I work/stay at home. So I’m usually very open with my schedule! Usually available every single day. I’m open to help any way I can! I have a fenced in yard, two story home. If you would like to keep your pet separate from mine that is very possible! I’m usually more comfortable with care in my home. But if it works better for me to check in that can also be arranged.

About: Since I was born I have been surrounded by animals and dogs! I grew up on a farm and always had two dogs. I have experience taking care of puppies to grown dogs from playing with them, feeding them, and walking them. I am currently a college student but I have plenty of time during the week to walk or play with your puppy or dog! I am extremely flexible to any sort of schedule and I’m open any day of the week. I am comfortable around your home to play with your dog or your neighborhood for walks! I have lots of experience caring for pets at the owners home:)

About: Fear Free Certified Professional. I was born and raised in San Diego in a military family, honesty and commitment has always been engraved in me. I've always been an animal lover and have persued my my passion with animals by working in a Veterinary hospital and working to become a Registered Veterinary Technician. I have rescued and rehabilitated many different breeds of dogs and am comfortable with all sizes from Chihuahuas to Great Danes. When I have boarding animals they must be up to date on vaccines as I take most of them to work with me. Otherwise pets will always have someone with them. I treat all pets as if they were my own. I have birds (parrots), so as long as they don't try and knock cages over there shouldn't be an issue. I can offer pick up and drop off and can bathe your baby as well! I go for daily walks, hikes or trips to the dog park depending on what the dog and owners preferred. Sometimes my boarders go to work with me unless they prefer to stay home. They are in a fully fenced yard and never allowed off leash. They are never left unattended outside. Our dogs enjoy having house guests to hang out with.

Im currently in college to get my associates degree in photography (I can take cute pictures of your fur buddy) I’m looking for a job to earn some extra money and I think that there is no better way to do it than taking care of pets. I love animals, been around dogs and cats all my life and think i can accomplish a good pet-sitter job. My pet, Blondie is my mom’s certified service dog, even when i’m not the dog master, I know how to treat her special needs. I got experience doing different task on her, like potty training, medication management, grooming and food preparation.

About: I have been a dog owner and have been caring for dogs, walks and sleep overs for close to 10 years now… I enjoy their companionship. I’m a single man with no children, I have plenty of time on my hands… my work hours are different every week, chances are I’m available more times than needed. Unfortunately, I cannot care for pets in my home. If I was two dog sit in a client’s home, I would simply follow their instructions.

About: My name is Carisa I am 29 years old. I was raised with dogs my whole life and have lots of experience with different breeds and ages! From puppies, to middle aged to senior dogs I have experienced it all. I live in a very dog friendly community with its own local dog park. I have fostered dogs for years and volunteer my free time to a rescue in San Diego. Ask me any questions and I would be happy to answer them :) I work from home on Monday and Fridays so am available for walks during lunch time on those days. Otherwise any day after 5pm or available for boarding on weekends! I treat every animal like they are my own! I am very cautious with their special needs and give them all the love and affection they deserve!!!

About: I grew up on a hobby farm, where my grandmother was the local cat rescuer and my great grandmother ran a dog kennel. I finally counted and got up to 17 dogs before I lost count and am completely serious when I say I have had over 40 cats in my lifetime, sometimes over 20 at once! I still foster cats of all ages from the San Diego Humane Society regularly. I've always had a love for animals and wish I could own one now. Nothing would bring me more joy than getting to spend time with animals every day. I have a very flexible schedule, and am excited to accommodate any of your pet care needs. I currently work part-time, I have full availability Wednesday through Friday, and work roughly 5 hour shifts Saturday-Tuesday. I am extremely flexible for drop in visits, walks, and overnight stays. I am on time, follow instructions and schedules to a T, and love to send photos and texts updating you on how your pet is doing while you're away. I'm comfortable and confident in handling emergencies and anything that comes my way!

I’ve truly seen (& loved) it all! i have a rescue dog, Indie, who’s taught me so much on behavior & emotional cues. learning to read her body language — stress signals, boundaries, etc. — completely reshaped how I approach animal care. i’m Fear Free Certified & very intentional about moving at each pet’s pace. i work full-time but have two remote days a week & flexibility for walks, drop-ins, overnights, weekends, & holidays. i’ll follow your pet’s routine closely & always send updates & photos. pet care is something I genuinely love & intentionally make space for in my routine. my full time job is office/admin work, so being able to have a fun “job” in addition allows me to still have access to my passion— animals! safety & trust always come first. i follow each pet’s routine exactly as outlined — from feeding & medication schedules to walk routes & house rules. i take time to get to know every pet’s personality & comfort level so they feel secure and understood in my care.
