Hi there! I’d love to help y’all!
Hi there! Let me give you a little background of who I am: my name is Katie, I’m 30 years old, I work as a mental health therapist with children, teenagers, adults, and their families, and am taking a break from practice to care for my family and study for my licensure exam. Why am I on Rover? While I’m diligently studying I want to continue exercising my care skills. I have a lot of experience with pets and people and to be honest… I see them as practically one and the same as they both hold so much importance in others’ lives and deserve individualized care that respects and honors their complex personality and needs! I pride myself on my patience, tolerance, and ability to connect and support others :) I’ll treat your pet like they are one of my own and not just some “animal” but a crucial part of your family!

Katie did such an AMAZING job taking care of our lab! She not only kept us informed every day and sent us lots of photos but she went above and beyond engaging with Cookie ensuring she was happy. Katie is a delight to work with and gave loving attention to my 2 elderly dachshunds when I was out of town. What’s more, Katie makes you feel like you’re having a friend tend them vs a hired service. I highly recommend Katie for her compassion and reliability.

Absolutely! Here's a concise review based on your feedback: Katie was an exceptional dog walker for Seamus. Her communication and friendly demeanor were top-notch. Despite a hiccup with the address on my end, she addressed it professionally and ensured Seamus had a great walk. Highly recommend her and hope she'll be available for future walks with Seamus!
Wow Katie did such a great job taking care of my dog. She was so communicative while we were away sending constant updates and pictures of him and even checking in on him between walks to make sure he was doing well! He looked super happy in every picture and that exactly what I want when I am leaving my dog in the care of someone else! Will definitely be asking Katie to dog sit for us again! :D
