Being trusted to watch a member of their family for a weekend or week at a time is so special to me. ❤️ I just moved to San Diego and am on the job hunt! I have open availability, 7 days a week, and am looking to hang out with some furry friends while adjusting to my new area! Being tall is an advantage! About: I am an uncle to many cats and dogs over the years. I have lived with pets all my life. Most recently, 2 years with a Shih Tzu, Sola, and have cared for her throughout our time together. I have watched over my friend’s pets for weeks on end and enjoy the time we spend together. I love seeing the bond between people and their furry friends! I have helped raised a surprise litter of puppies, trained them, and helped them find good homes! We still keep in contact with their new loving families! I am currently working from home on a part time schedule, so my schedule is pretty open and flexible. I can accommodate to most schedules and carry my work with me. Sola has two small homes she uses as her safety zone. A crate is for when she is feeling stressed and a fuzzy home for when she wants privacy. We have an understanding to not cross her boundaries and when she enters those spaces, we give her the privacy she requests. Understanding animals boundaries is important to me, for my safety, their wellbeing, and to maintain trust, especially if I’m a stranger to them.

About: I've taken care of dogs and cats for most my life. I've had up to three dogs of my own at a time. Had to say goodbye to two of them last year. I have a one year sweet pup named Lucy that has been great around all dogs big and small. I work full time from home so I am more than happy to have your dog for the day while you're at work, or for the night if you're away. I can stop in to let your dog out throughout the day if needed. I do have 2 cats in the house so would need dogs that are cat friendly or ignore them. Look forward to meeting your pup! I do have a full time job, but I do work from home so I do have a very flexible schedule so I am available to take care of your pet during the week. I am free pretty much all day on Saturdays and Sunday I am very respectful of your home and belongings. I truly do love animals and I can assure you I will treat your pet(s) and spoil them just as I do my own

We are here to provide a cherished home away from home for your beloved dog(s)! We have extensive backgrounds in animal training, wildlife welfare, and simply creating a loving environment for all animals. We will provide daily updates and photos; you can rest peacefully knowing your pet is safe and comfortable in our home. We are available 7 days a week to house your pet. If we have to step out of our home for any reason, the dogs under our care will have access to a beautiful spacious outdoor area, as well as indoor safety. If you prefer your dog(s) and our dog to be separated while unsupervised, we can happily accommodate this as well. Along with having a large wrap-around yard to play in, we will also take your pet on several daily walks, and even outdoor adventures if preferred! If your pet is staying in our home, we want not only you, but also you pet to feel safe and comfortable as well! And because of this, we only house one household at a time in our home. We have a sizable fenced in yard, and a friendly dog to keep your pet company. We can crate your dog if requested, we can leave them indoors, outdoors, or with access to both depending on your preference. About: I am new to Rover but not new to taking care of pets. I have a 2 year old dog who is my whole world. He is super friendly and LOVES being around other dogs. We go for long walks every day and want your pup to join us! I am the go-to pet sitter for all of my friend's pets so I figured to make it official and sign up for Rover. I have a backyard with grass so it easy to have dogs at my place. I had a cat for 12 years who was diabetic so I know a lot about care for cats and the best ways to give them love. I am available full-time to take care of your pets. I can check in on them or walk them whenever is best for your schedule. I love going for walks and play fetch with doggies. I have a fenced backyard with grass for them to play and can pick them up and drop them off to make it easier on you if you are traveling.

About: Welcome To the Barbells Barkyard, where we have something for everyone! Whether your dog is crazy energetic or laid back and wants to snooooze, we are for you! we play often in the backyard but my 9 yr old also created a little oasis in his room for the dogs who prefer less space. we always make sure their comfort comes first! We have cared for animals our entire lives and have always known wanted to work with animals in some capacity so when we discovered rover, this became the perfect path for both my wife and i! We are both AVID animal lovers and treat each furbaby like family! we are both home full time and will seldomly leave them alone/if at all. We both know CPR and basic first aid for animals. A typical day will include lots of play time both inside and outside, enrichment activities (such as a ball pit, sniff spots, etc), water play time (if they feel so inclined :) ). we also provide treats- all 1 ingredient, healthy options so we do not upset their tummies, lots of bed options, allow them on the couches if you are okay with that, and all the toys they can dream of. we clean and sanitize the entire house daily and we ask for each client to be on flea meds to prevent any unwanted friends :) Our primary goal is to help the people of our community be able to have BOTH great loving top dollar care that you are confident in AND is affordable. We pride ourselves on our flexibility and make sure to send lots of pictures and videos throughout the stay. I offer walks, drop-ins, and in-home care. I follow routines closely and keep owners updated with messages, pictures, and notes throughout the stay. Whether your pet wants snuggles on the couch or adventures outdoors, I’m happy to make their time enjoyable. In my home, I focus on keeping pets comfortable and part of the family. I follow their normal feeding and potty routines, provide regular walks/playtime, and make sure they have safe spaces to rest. Over the past 5+ years, I've cared for dogs of all breeds, sizes, and personalities from high energy pups who love to play to anxious or reactive dogs who just need a little extra patience and understanding. My own dog, Xochitl, has taught me so much about reading body language, building trust, and creating positive experiences for every dog I care for. There are multiple designated areas nearby for dogs to use the bathroom, as well as several dog parks within a 10 min walking distance for dogs who enjoy extra exercise and social time. All outings are based on the owner’s preferences and the dog’s comfort level. Dogs in my care are always supervised, follow their regular routines, and receive attentive, structured care. When caring for dogs in a client’s home, I respect their space and maintain their established routines so pets feel comfortable and secure!

About: I have cared for personal dogs and cats my entire life whether that be for a few days or just a few hours, I have also been relied on to care for friends and family members beloved animals. I have a completely open schedule this summer and am willing to give close attention to the needs of any animal I may care for. Giving my outright attention the entire time I am caring for them. I personally would not bring clients dogs into my own home because I have my own two dogs and a cat, so would just want to avoid any issues between them. However, I will gladly care for the animals in the clients home with attentiveness and care. I have experience with puppies all the way down to four months old and elderly dogs who may need medication, extra care and a close watch.
