“Due to an injury, living upstairs I’m not supposed to do much of and having to use a cane for awhile, I desperately needed help asap walking my big girl. We are active and usually walk at least two miles twice a day. I came across Daniel’s profile, nervous as I’ve never had anyone but myself walk my sometimes very hard headed strong Cane Corso. I really appreciated that his profile noted that he’s comfortable with bigger breeds and has one of his own. I can’t say enough good things about his work ethic, kindness, gentle demeanor, quick communication, punctuality, professionalism - all of it! Not to mention my dog with some serious separation anxiety by the 3rd morning was up before the alarm in the morning to put on her “necklace” and go walk with her new bestie! She now pouts and looks out the window for an hour after their walks! (ha ha thanks Daniel!) I have booked future walks with full confidence and absolutely no hesitation. I am so very very thankful for his way with my working breed dog and his help!”

About: Hi, I'm Nic! I've been taking care of dogs ever since we adopted our first family dog Auggie over 20 years ago. He and other dogs I've watched had aggression issues so I know how to stay out of trouble. I'm strong enough to handle multiple medium-to-large dogs at a time and fit enough to take them on long walks or runs. I helped out my mom a lot last year with our second family dog Yogi who struggled with incontinence, mobility, and pain. I still miss him but realized after watching my friend's elderly dogs that I'm ready to connect with some more great animals! I work full-time but I'm remote and not overworked so I have flexibility in terms of schedule. I'm generally available to do walks/check-ins around noon or in the evening and can also have animals stay with me in my apartment during the day or overnight. I have an apartment on the second floor of a small complex and there is no elevator so I likely cannot accommodate larger dogs with mobility issues. My complex and apartment are pretty quiet and theres is a park with two dog runs only two blocks away. On weekdays I only leave the apartment for about two hours so I can keep a close eye on any dogs that need extra supervision. I'm very respectful of other people's homes and know that many animals will need time to warm up to me. I try to give animals as much space as they need but also keep an eye out for when they're in need of some stimulation.

About: I have had parrots, dogs and rats. I have been walking and pet sitting for family and friends for a few years. My friends know to come to me because I love animals very much and give them special attentive care. I really enjoy playing and running with dogs and can match their energy 💪🏃‍♀️ I also like to send photo updates. I’m located in Normal Heights and very close to Kensington. If there is no free parking available near your home I ask that you please provide the parking meter fee if necessary. I am available and dedicated to creating the time to prioritize rover currently. Thankfully my studying and other work is flexible and also at my own schedule. I make sure to follow directions carefully and intently for whatever specific needs are required for your animals. About: My wife and I have lived in Normal Heights for over 30 years, are empty nesters, and had dogs and cats during this period. We think they are like a chosen family member. I've always been around pets since I was a kid and raised puppies or kittens as well as taken care of pets into their senior ages.
