“Due to an injury, living upstairs I’m not supposed to do much of and having to use a cane for awhile, I desperately needed help asap walking my big girl. We are active and usually walk at least two miles twice a day. I came across Daniel’s profile, nervous as I’ve never had anyone but myself walk my sometimes very hard headed strong Cane Corso. I really appreciated that his profile noted that he’s comfortable with bigger breeds and has one of his own. I can’t say enough good things about his work ethic, kindness, gentle demeanor, quick communication, punctuality, professionalism - all of it! Not to mention my dog with some serious separation anxiety by the 3rd morning was up before the alarm in the morning to put on her “necklace” and go walk with her new bestie! She now pouts and looks out the window for an hour after their walks! (ha ha thanks Daniel!) I have booked future walks with full confidence and absolutely no hesitation. I am so very very thankful for his way with my working breed dog and his help!”

We’ll care for your pet like they’re our own. Ensuring the safety and well-being of your furry family member is our top priority. In addition to the Rover Guarantee, I am insured through Pet Sitters Associates so your pet is well covered. 🏠 We offer individualized dog daycare and boarding in our home in Normal Heights, San Diego 92116. To be able to provide personalized care, we only host 1 client at a time (up to 2 dogs from the same family). Please note: Early drop-off before 7am and late pick-up after 9pm will incur an additional $10 fee. The booking amount will be modified depending on the times requested. ☀️ We also offer dog/cat drop-in visits (open to other animals!) and dog walking in Normal Heights and areas within a 5-10 minute radius, which may include: North Park, University Heights, and Mission Valley. 🐾 EXPERIENCE: 1. PERSONAL: We adopted our two rescue pomeranians Waffles and Toffee in 2018 and 2020. We’ve looked after pets for family and friends, including a young high energy goldendoodle, a senior deaf and blind shih tzu, and two slow-to-warm cats. 2. PROFESSIONAL: I worked front desk at a dog daycare facility for over a year. I handled dogs of all sizes, breeds, and temperaments and learned how to stay organized and safe within a pet care environment. We have been providing pet care through Rover and direct clients via social media and word of mouth since 2024. We care for pets who experience seizures, dementia, blindness, deafness, arthritis, and other special needs. We are comfortable administering medication. 3. VOLUNTEER: We have been volunteering with various animal rescues for the past 7+ years, which has brought us experience with medical needs and behavioral quirks. We’ve spent time with plenty of dogs, cats, chickens, ducks, turkeys, pigs, goats, and even an emu. SERVICE DETAILS: 🫱🏼‍🫲🏽 MEET AND GREETS: We require a meet and greet for potential clients prior to first booking to ensure we’re all a good fit for one another. It will also give us the chance to chat face-to-face about your pet and any care expectations. If it’s last minute or you are only vacationing in the area, we may allow exceptions depending on the request and after speaking via phone call or FaceTime. For longer boarding stays, we may require a one night trial at a discounted fee. 🐶 DOG DAYCARE: A day at our place includes: a clean dog proof home environment, lounging cot, private fenced yard, and two furry hosts Waffles and Toffee. We can keep your dog engaged with walks, playtime, and command practice or just keep it chill and have them enjoy TV time with us. We sometimes go out to dog friendly places such as Liberty Station or Balboa Park, with your permission if your dog is comfortable in those environments. If your dog has physical limitations, we have a stroller for those under ~20lb. 🧳 DOG BOARDING: All the amenities of daycare, plus a safe home to rest at night. We ask that our boarders be house trained or crated trained so we have the ability to step out (no longer than 3-4 hours). We have a Petcube camera with sound and movement detection to monitor them while we’re out. If your dog needs human company for the entirety of their stay, we may have flexibility and are happy to discuss during the meet and greet. Please bring your dog’s crate, bed, and/or anything else to help them feel at home. We have extra beds for small dogs. 📝 DAYCARE/BOARDING REQUIREMENTS: 1) Must be neutral, indifferent, or friendly with both humans and dogs. 2) Must be potty trained. We may make exceptions for senior/medical incontinence if you can provide supplies — disposable diapers, wipes, etc. 3) Limited barking (to keep our neighbors happy). 4) Up to date on vaccines and flea prevention. 🧸 DOG/CAT DROP-IN VISITS: We offer feeding, playtime, water bowl refills, litter box cleaning for cat households, and will always ensure your home is secured when we leave. For dogs, we’ll also take them out to potty in your fenced yard or on leash outside. If you prefer a proper walk, please book our walking service instead or book a drop-in and walk service back to back. 🦮 DOG WALKS: We’ll check your dog’s harness/collar/leash for safety and walk them around the neighborhood at their pace. We’ll refill their water bowl and ensure your home is secured when we leave. We never do off-leash walks nor dog parks. 🌟 DROP-IN VISIT & WALK NOTES: Our main requirement is that your pet is not aggressive with humans so we can safely visit/walk them. We understand some animals need a slow introduction, which we can all gauge during the meet and greet. Please note we do not intermingle pets from different households. We look forward to hearing from you and your pet! ♥️ 🗓️ SCHEDULE: Norman and I both work from home. We typically have little to no zoom meetings and will plan accordingly if our meetings ever coincide so your dog is safe and comfortable. We have time in the morning, lunch time, and evening for walks and can take breaks throughout the day. We have some weekends available + flexibility in our weekday work schedule to provide dog care. ⚠️ SAFETY: We will never leave your dog outside unattended. Unless in a fenced yard, your dog will always be on a leash when outside. We do not do off leash outside nor would we have your dog come into contact with other dogs or people on a walk to avoid any emergency situations. We feed all animals separately whether in your home or ours, to prevent allergy issues and resource guarding. We would only feed your pet food and treats provided or approved by you. We are extremely mindful when opening/closing all doors and gates. We always double check leash, collar, and harness security before going out for a walk.

About: I have experience petsitting for pets with many types of needs: elderly pets, pets with separation anxiety, puppies, and pets who needed medications at specific times. I have had a family pet since I was four years old. I have always been very involved in caring for my family's dogs, and have always loved teaching them new tricks, walking them, and playing with them. I started dog sitting with my friend's dog Murphy (he is the dog with the bowtie in the photos!) when I was around 13. I have always loved being able to take him for walks and playing with him in the backyard. I have dogsat for several of my friends' dogs since then, and I started petsitting for a neighbor when I was 16. I sat for them for several years and would spend the night at the home because one of the dogs had really bad separation anxiety. The family had two cats and three dogs. Over the years I sat for them, the oldest dog developed many special needs that I had to tend to. I had to make sure she took her medicine, walked around to exercise her stiff joints, and towards the end of her life, I had to help her walk outside so that she could use the bathroom. The youngest dog was still very much a puppy when I first started petsitting for them, and it was always very fun to play with her in the backyard and take her on long walks so that she could burn off all that puppy energy! I work the PM shift at my job (Sun-Thurs), so I’m free mornings until 1pm during the week. And on Friday and Saturday, I’m free 24/7! In your home, I can use toys to play with the pets and take the dogs on walks or to the park. I can feed your pets and take them outside to use the bathroom or I can keep the litter box clean. Also, I can give them treats and let them show me any tricks they know! I am a very caring person and will make sure that your pets are as comfortable and happy as possible at all times. I also would love to send you pictures of your pets so that they don't feel so far away from you while you are apart!

About: I currently work from home and am available to pet sit, walk, and stop by for home visits. I love staying active and being outside, and my neighborhood is walkable and safe. I have an orange cat that I love, and my additional experience includes volunteering at a dog rescue that specialized in pit bull breeds. About: I have cared for personal dogs and cats my entire life whether that be for a few days or just a few hours, I have also been relied on to care for friends and family members beloved animals. I have a completely open schedule this summer and am willing to give close attention to the needs of any animal I may care for. Giving my outright attention the entire time I am caring for them. I personally would not bring clients dogs into my own home because I have my own two dogs and a cat, so would just want to avoid any issues between them. However, I will gladly care for the animals in the clients home with attentiveness and care. I have experience with puppies all the way down to four months old and elderly dogs who may need medication, extra care and a close watch.
