About: As a runner, triathlete, and long-time dog lover, I am the perfect match for your high-energy dog! I have a calming demeanor, but the fitness and energy to make sure your dog gets well taken care of. I love taking dogs on walks, but if a run is what they need to burn off excess energy, then I'm for sure your guy! Just let me know in a message if there are special energy-burning needs for your precious pooch, and I'll do my best to accommodate! Or, if your dog is simply content to stop and smell the roses, I can, of course, accommodate that as well! Whatever they need to get the most out of their experience and enjoy a great day! My dog Ava has also been doing this with me for quite some time, so while I defer to taking care of your pet solo and giving them all the attention they need, if socializing is something that you are trying to help your dog with, I can bring Ava along and help give your dog a social walk safely and appropriately. Just let me know how I can best cater to you and your sweet doggo's needs, and I'll do everything in my power to accommodate and make the experience a great one! I work from home currently, and let's be real, I enjoy working with dogs more than people, so let me meet your pet and introduce me to a new friend! Observing a dog and how they are feeling always comes first for me. Determining what they are comfortable with and adapting as necessary in real time is more important to me than having a pre-conceived notion of what your dog may need.

“Martilia stayed with my dog Bailey over the weekend and did an incredible job. She stayed with Bailey a lot of the time inside, hung out with her, let her out to use the bathroom regularly, kept to her feeding schedule and gave her medicine. She appeared to actually enjoy hanging out with Bailey and sent me pictures of her hanging out with her in the living room and let her hang out with her in her bedroom . I really appreciated the extra care given to my senior dog who likes the attention and care! I would definitely utilize her again and recommend her to others. She also left the spare room in excellent condition and even did the sheets and made the bed before she left, which was totally unnecessary but very helpful and kind.”

About: Started out taking care of my soldier's dogs when they were out of town and this eventually led to taking care of more soldiers on base who couldn't take care of their animals when they were on leave. Next thing you know, I now do Rover for a living. Pretty fun. I stay at home all day playing video games which allows me to stay with your dog all day. I'm able to meet any type of requirements that anyone who stays at home all day is able to take care of their dog. This generally means that I'm able to take them out three to four times a day. Personally, I don't own any other dogs and we live on the second floor of a 1,000 square foot apartment building. The floors are particularly nice as they cool down the dog and we don't have carpets so they are able to enjoy the marble flooring. Additionally, it is a gated apartment so there's no chance of them escaping additionally, we are very close to Balboa Park which allows me to expel any type of energy from high maintenance dogs to low ones. I personally do not own any dogs, so there's no need for concern when conflicts with dog personalities might occur.
