There a lifelong best friend. As a college student, my schedule is pretty flexible. I have classes Tuesdays and Thursdays, so I’m free most of the week and have plenty of time to care for your pup! I’ve been dog sitting for years and truly love caring for every pup I meet. About: Doggy Mama of 10 years for my sweet Wheaten Terrier, Suki! I have been with her for all stages of life: curious puppy, energetic teenager, and mellow adult. This has taught me how to adjust towards whatever needs your pet may have. No matter the attention your furry friend needs— whether it be downtime and cuddles, or zoomies and long walks— I am here to provide! I can administer medication, and will easily adapt to the schedule/routine that your pet requires. I am a sophomore student at San Diego State University, majoring in Criminal Justice. I have classes Monday-Thursday starting at 12:00pm and ending by 4:00pm. I live on campus and have a car so transportation is not an issue. I am able to pet sit at anytime throughout the week that I don’t have classes- and am willing to stay over night and/or through the weekends. Caring for your companion will vary depending on personality and routine but there are definitely some core principles that I carry with me. First one being respect— respect of your home, respect of your animals needs and wants, and respect of your time. I will be present as much as I can be, even if that means just sitting in the same room as them. Another core value, depending on your pet, is exercise. It doesn’t matter if it’s a long walk, a short and slow walk, or even just interacting with toys— something that gets them moving and keeps them entertained. And a big one is love, I promise to absolutely adore your animal and show them kindness in whatever ways they need. That could look like self care: brushing their coat, massaging stiff joints. That could look like affection: rubbing on them, talking to them, and making sure they know i’m here for them. And that could also mean giving them space. Any adjustment that I can make to give you and your pet a smooth experience, I would love to do.

About: I have had experience caring for dogs throughout my life. I had two dogs of my own for 17 years, which gave me many years of experience and of course giving them lots of love and attention. I have also spent many years around many of my family members pets and have helped care for them when needed. Also, I have helped neighbors and roommates with their dogs while they were away by making sure they were fed, cared for, and given attention. Most of my experience has come from caring for dogs belonging to people I know, and I truly enjoy spending time with animals. I work full-time, but I’m available evenings and weekends. I can also provide daily check-ins during the week to make sure your pet is happy, safe, and cared for. I provide a safe, calm, and loving environment for every pet. I follow your pet’s routine and make sure they have plenty of attention, care, and exercise. I’ll also keep you updated with photos and messages so you know your pet is happy and safe.

About: Growing up wanted a dog but my parents allow it so did the next best thing which was dog sit for my neighbors. So I have many years of experience sitting all types of dogs. Love the company of a wonderful dog. There’s nothing like the energy from a happy pup that loves to play. I just started training for a half marathon I’ll be running in March, so if your dog is used to or if you want me get him/her active, i would be able to do so. I’m working from home currently so I have a flexible schedule and would love nothing more than spend some quality time with your precious pup.
