“William was really good with Otto and took great care of him. He was really receptive with what I was looking for in a dog sitter and went above and beyond. Will definitely choose to have him doggy sit again!”

About: Hello! I'm Charlie I've been working for over 15 years taking care of children and on occasion, pets. I'm hoping to add more animals to my life as I am finishing my RN-BSN, the stress relief and excuse to get outside that furry friends offer is immeasurable! I have over 10 years of experience caring for dogs as an occasional sitter/walker and home co-habitant and have had a wonderful feisty cat for over 14 years. (She stays at home unless otherwise specified) I have the most experience with middle aged to older dogs, and manage to win over even the most tentative of furry family members. (I'm also shy, so I attribute it to mutual awkwardness.) I have experience giving eye drops, disguising medication's as treats (or convincing stubbon animals to take medication) and I am experienced in giving injections. I'm more comfortable and experienced with medium and larger dogs , cats of all sizes and temperaments (but i will not turn down the opportunity to make a small dog, bunny, scaley or feathered friend!) . I've experienced some mischievous puppy antics that have led to my finding out that I can keep level headed in an emergency. As I mentioned above, I work in childcare, so I have experience performing work unsupervised in other peoples' homes, am a nurse working on my BSN (so background checks are no issue) and can provide necessary references if requested to ensure my trustworthiness. Please feel free to contact me with any questions you may have about me and my experience. Thank you. I'm currently in school part-time for my BSN while searching for new grad RN positions and helping out with a local nursing association. I have a flexible schedule and can often work around your needs. I usually housesit In a client's home while they are away, but am open to drop-ins. I try and follow a furry friend's routine as closely as possible and if I can't on a day, I make sure that they always get enough potty breaks and adjust walks accordingly. I do tend to take the longest walks in the AM (30-45 min) + before bed (30-1 hr) with shorter 15-30 min "potty" walks during the day . I take into account their needs (feeding/medication/b&b evacuation times) & normal excursion times and my schedule and plan the week out in advance. Written instructions help me with daily tasks or pet personality quirks if they are more set in their ways. I'm happy to water plants, gather mail, take out trash and am comfortable communicating with vendors (repair, pest control etc) if they need to visit when you are away. I treat the home better than I treat my own and aim to maintain (or exceed) the level of cleanliness that existed when I arrived. I'm not shy when it comes to vacuuming, laundering linens & pet bedding as needed while I am staying.
“Kaitlin took such great care of my pets, and my apartment! I’m always nervous to have someone new stay in my space and care for my animals, but Kaitlin’s caring and kind demeanor made me feel at ease :) She sent me updates and pictures daily, and was easily able to follow all the instructions. I know my pets really enjoyed spending time with her, too. She also left my apartment tidy and clean, which was so nice to come home to after a long trip.”

“After years of searching for a trustworthy, personable, and knowledgeable in-home pet sitter, we are so grateful to have found Anna. Anna is dependable, caring, and has all the skills needed to confidently care for multiple dogs. From the moment she met our pups, she formed an immediate connection with each of them, despite their very different personalities, preferences, and obedience levels. It's clear that she genuinely loves animals, and they love her right back. We truly can't say enough wonderful things about Anna—although we'd rather not praise her too much because we'd love to keep her all to ourselves! Thank you, Anna, for giving us the peace of mind to travel without a single moment of worry, knowing that our pups and our home are receiving the very best care!”
About: Hi! I'm a lifelong dog lover with years of hands-on experience caring for dogs of all sizes and personalities. You can trust that your pet will receive dependable, attentive, and loving care every step of the way. Whether your pet needs a long walk, playtime, feeding, or lots of love and attention, I'll treat them like they're part of my own family. I have a flexible schedule that allows me to provide walks, drop-in visits, playtime, feeding, and companionship throughout the day. About: I’ve dog sat and cat sat for multiple different clients in the San Diego region. I have 2 years of experience of pet sitting through a pet sitting agency. I own two cats and love animals! I am eager to help you take care of your fluffy and loveable pets :) I am currently a part time RN in the San Diego region working three days a week. I work mornings and am available after 4:00 pm on days that I work. Otherwise on days off I have open availability! I have experience administering medications to both cats and dogs. I love to play with animals to provide them with enrichment! If injections are needed (ie insulin) I am very teachable since I am an RN :)

About: Throughout my life I have been surrounded by pets, especially dogs. Through this experience, I have become accustomed to taking care of them, whether they are large or small. I was always the first person to be called when neighbors were headed out of town. I am always down to exercise with animals, supply food and water, and make sure their experience of life is maximized. I am a full time student so school does take up a majority of my days, although I am totally open any time from Fridays through Sundays. My experience caring for pets has been your typical walk, making sure they are eating the proper nutritional diet at the right times, and allowing pets to lose any energy that has been built up. Animals are such a vital part of life so we must love and care for them just as they do to us!

“Tiffany was great! She was communicative, sent us videos and pictures and made sure to keep us up to date with how Pete was doing. This is our first time having Pete stay home with a sitter and it was so much less stress for him and us! We would use her again for sure!”

“So grateful for you Isabella, thank you so much for helping me out with my Rosey girl. Isabella came through for me last minute, was always on time, very respectful, sent me updates, and rosey was so happy to have her. Please don’t hesitate when thinking about booking her for her services. Class act, very professional.”

About: Hey there! My name is Natasha and I have been an avid dog lover since I was young. My partner and I both WFH and we have a fully fenced in front and backyard for the pups to play and roam. With my 8+ years of dog care experience, it's my pleasure to make our house your dog's favorite home away from home! A little about me: My first dog was a Christmas gift when I was 16. Despite being on crutches, I learned a lot about dog training and care. Fast forward to 7 years ago, I rescued my border collie and trained her to become a service dog. We go everywhere and do (almost) everything together - including taking care of other dogs! I also now have a Foster dog, Ashe, who is very docile, gentle, and sweet. She's just happy to be here! I am also happy to watch your pet(s) at your home as my partner can take care of the gang here at home while I'm away. Whatever works best for you! Either way - your pets will be loved, mentally and physically engaged, and cared for however long you need! I work remote full-time and set my own schedule. Nyla joins me for runs, frisbee sessions at the park, hikes, and fetch 5-6 days a week. After that, it’s all cuddle puddle. We also do some training on our walks for breakfast! We go for a long walk in the morning and evening, with plenty of short breaks throughout the day - or one of the aforementioned activities! Safety is of utmost importance to me. I know many dogs have lots of ways they communicate their boundaries and I keep a close eye for any or all of them your dog may show. We have a fully fenced in front and backyard, a way to divide the two, and live in a residential neighborhood. I work with each pet to learn their comfort level and earn their trust on their terms and timetable. Nyla and our foster are both crate trained so separation is always available if need be!
“Olivia was perfect in every way! Especially because it was my first time leaving my puppy for an overnight trip. Her communication, presence and genuine care allowed me to feel confident going away. She also made it feel so natural to synch up with the rhythm and schedule my pup and I had going which I have found rare, but so essential. And he is a growing 5-6 month old puppy. I will absolutely reach out to her first the next time I go away or need a sitter for my pup.”

The median cost per night for house sitting in Darnall is $63

Charlie was amazing! She took excellent care of my pets and let me know how everything was going. My dog looked so happy in the pictures and not stressed like she has been when I’ve been gone in the past. My cats actually played! I have two cats that are not very friendly or playful but the pictures showed them playing! It was awesome. I highly recommend her if you are looking for someone to take wonderful care of your critters!
Tara is so patient and kind with my dog who has issues warming up to people in his home! We were feeling like we couldn’t travel because he’s been so anxious, and she has been working with him getting used to her on walks, and getting him comfortable when she comes in the home. She has been very understanding, calm, and kind with him! I am so thankful we found her, and for how understanding she is of his quirks - even when he barks in her face. Thanks for all you are doing to help him! Also, she takes amazing care of our less quirky small dog and cat, too. She has great communication, and sends photos, and I came home to calm pups and a clean home, she is wonderful!

Mesa is fantastic! This is our 2nd time having Mesa dog/house sit for us. She spent a week looking after our 2 large 6-year old lab/shepherd pups. One of our boys has special needs due to a partial acl tear. Mesa handled all their needs with perfection. She communicated with us daily and left the house spotless. We'll definitely look to Mesa for future needs.

Karilou was amazing! She stayed at my house for three nights and it looked like no one was even there. My dogs were happy and well cared for. One of my dogs is very shy with people and, with Karilou’s calm and patient personality, Nugget was able to feel comfortable with her. She sent me daily updates and pictures, which really helped since this was my first time leaving them😊🐶🐶❤️

Martilia stayed with my dog Bailey over the weekend and did an incredible job. She stayed with Bailey a lot of the time inside, hung out with her, let her out to use the bathroom regularly, kept to her feeding schedule and gave her medicine. She appeared to actually enjoy hanging out with Bailey and sent me pictures of her hanging out with her in the living room and let her hang out with her in her bedroom . I really appreciated the extra care given to my senior dog who likes the attention and care! I would definitely utilize her again and recommend her to others. She also left the spare room in excellent condition and even did the sheets and made the bed before she left, which was totally unnecessary but very helpful and kind.

Olivia was a fantastic pup and house sitter. She watched my rambunctious Australian shepherd for a few days while I was out of town. Olivia is a great communicator and a very experienced dog sitter. Also left my house in great shape for my return. Definitely recommend.

Alyssa was awesome. She took the best care of our BIG 90 lbs. boy Beans while we were on vacation. He took to her right away and she provided pupdates daily- gave us such peace of mind. We will absolutely ask Alyssa to watch Beans in the future and would recommend for anyone wanting a great pup sitter while they are gone.

Alice was so amazing with our pets!! She walked our dogs daily and spent time with both the dogs and cats in addition to keeping them fed. Our house was spotless when we returned and our 4 pets were healthy and happy! She was very punctual, communicative, and caring throughout the process. Highly recommend!
