About: I love cats and have 2 of my own. They are 1 year old and 7 months, and I have trained them to wear harnesses and leashes to take “walks” outside. (they walk me, not the other way around.) My first cat sadly was diagnosed with feline leukemia and passed away after just 2 short years of his life. However, missing him so much led me to getting my two cats I have now. <3 I also have handled administering meds, bottle feeding, and brushing cats teeth strictly from personal experience. I’ve had my fair share of litter boxes to clean and it comes easy and natural to pick up and care after any type of furry friend.

First one being respect— respect of your home, respect of your animals needs and wants, and respect of your time. I will be present as much as I can be, even if that means just sitting in the same room as them. Another core value, depending on your pet, is exercise. It doesn’t matter if it’s a long walk, a short and slow walk, or even just interacting with toys— something that gets them moving and keeps them entertained. Mello has separation anxiety, so we wanted to make sure she truly felt safe and comfortable before her official boarding. He really goes above and beyond — he even brings Mello along with him when he’s out running quick errands like picking up pizza or McDonald’s, just so she can feel included and never alone. It’s clear he’s not just watching dogs — he’s trying to be their best friend. The biggest and most wonderful surprise: we had arranged trazodone for Mello to help with her anxiety and sleep, but she’s become so comfortable and happy there that she no longer needs it to rest well at night.
