“Miguel comes from a family of multi-generational animal lovers. He's grown up around family that not only adopts multiple pets, but a grandmother and great aunt that have been active in pet rescues for decades. His immediate family has had many adopted pets, cats and dogs, throughout his life. Even with the level of involvement that his family has with rescues, adoptions, and fostering, Miguel is known as the Dr. Doolittle of the family! He has a natural affinity with animals. Even as a youngster when he lived in Alameda he was a regular volunteer at a local pet shelter. He loves animals, and they are drawn to him. Just a few months ago, during a trip to northern CA to visit us, he met our new wild child, a Dobie mix former stray, Jasmine. She's normally a very excitable girl, wanting to jump all over someone when meeting them. He had her calmed down right away, sleeping contentedly with her head in his lap. He affects most animals that way. He's experienced with multiple dog and cat breeds and temperaments. I wish he lived near us because I could use a good walker, sitter, trainer for Jasmine!”

“Aurora is most definitely a true animal lover. She has taken care of numerous animals including fish, ducks, parakeets, rats, hamsters, dogs, and horses. She is very conscientious about making sure each animal has its individual needs met. That being said, her most extensive experience is with dogs. She has a calm and reassuring way, that does not intimidate or overwhelm a quiet or shy dog. Aurora also has the energy to engage with an exuberant dog. Her compassion for animals is obvious.”

“Olivia watched my two 5yo cats for 8 days, dropping in daily for at least 30 minutes. She kept them fed, clean, and happy while we were away. She let them outside to play and would brush and wipe them when they came inside. Olivia sent pics daily, which was so nice to see my little ladies were taken care of. Olivia is great with animals, my shy kitties warmed up to her quickly. We’re grateful that she took such good care of them. Thanks, Olivia!”

“I couldn’t have asked for a better pet sitter. I have an elderly dog with abandonment issues, a young do who needs lots of walks and an elderly cat who needs medication given in a specific way. Tara was attentive, loving and caring to all my pets. She followed my care instructions to the letter. I would definitely recommend her to care for anyone’s pets. I know I will be hiring her again.”

“Yesenia was so attentive with my fur baby, being a single mom who works full time, I have very minimal time to take Onyx on a walk. Thankfully with the help of Rover and caregivers like Yesenia I am at ease knowing he is being well taken care of. He is always so excited to go for his walk and I definitely see a change in him he’s not as grumpy! 😄 We had a trip recently and Onyx could not make it but I had faith Yesenia would care for him as usual and I was not disappointed I got photos routinely and didn’t even have to ask anything she would be constantly updating me of when he was fed and walked which was definitely peace of mind. I am so thankful for Yesenia and all her attentive care for my fur baby.”

“Erika has watched my 3 kitties on many different occasions, sometime for a few hours and sometimes for several days. I trust very few people with my kitties. When left in Erika's care I know they will be safe and I won't have to worry about them. She's very loving towards them and I know they appreciate this, they love her too! The last thing is the trust I have with her and my house. I know when she leaves all the doors will be locked and the house will be in the very same condition as it is she arrives. Highly recommended!”
