About: Hey there! My name is Natasha and I have been an avid dog lover since I was young. My partner and I both WFH and we have a fully fenced in front and backyard for the pups to play and roam. With my 8+ years of dog care experience, it's my pleasure to make our house your dog's favorite home away from home! A little about me: My first dog was a Christmas gift when I was 16. Despite being on crutches, I learned a lot about dog training and care. Fast forward to 7 years ago, I rescued my border collie and trained her to become a service dog. We go everywhere and do (almost) everything together - including taking care of other dogs! I also now have a Foster dog, Ashe, who is very docile, gentle, and sweet. She's just happy to be here! I am also happy to watch your pet(s) at your home as my partner can take care of the gang here at home while I'm away. Whatever works best for you! Either way - your pets will be loved, mentally and physically engaged, and cared for however long you need! I work remote full-time and set my own schedule. Nyla joins me for runs, frisbee sessions at the park, hikes, and fetch 5-6 days a week. After that, it’s all cuddle puddle. We also do some training on our walks for breakfast! We go for a long walk in the morning and evening, with plenty of short breaks throughout the day - or one of the aforementioned activities! Safety is of utmost importance to me. I know many dogs have lots of ways they communicate their boundaries and I keep a close eye for any or all of them your dog may show. We have a fully fenced in front and backyard, a way to divide the two, and live in a residential neighborhood. I work with each pet to learn their comfort level and earn their trust on their terms and timetable. Nyla and our foster are both crate trained so separation is always available if need be!
“Danielle is an incredible sitter who gave our two pets amazing love, care and attention. We met for a check-in meeting and immediately connected with her and booked her for multiple visits. She communicated with us clearly and gave us a great update about your pets. We trust her as much as we trust our friends and family.”

“Jazmin did a great job taking care of my cats while I was away. She communicated well and sent great photos. She also responded to additional requests promptly. I will be asking for her help in the future!”

About: I grew up in rural Vermont taking care of animals in so many different ways. My family has always had dogs and cats, and I’ve always been the point person for neighbors when folks head out of town. I’ve also worked on a farm for six consecutive years helping care for all type of animals from rabbits, to cows, pigs, chickens, sheep and more. I just moved to San Diego this past month and do not have any prior engagements, so right now all my focus can be on making sure your animals needs are met! I would love nothing more than to see the animals in this city and build connections with them and you! Currently I have a small apartment, but am able to get to parks very near by. At the time, cats and smaller dogs would be suited for boarding and visiting!
About: I’ve been around dogs my entire life and grew up in a home where they were truly part of the family. Over the years, friends and family have trusted me to care for their furry loved ones while they’re away, and I take that responsibility seriously. I also have a dog of my own, Lev, a 6-year-old male who has taught me a lot about patience, communication, and positive reinforcement training. Because Lev can be leash reactive, I’m very comfortable reading dog body language and handling walks calmly and safely. Through consistent positive reinforcement, we’ve built successful and enjoyable walks together. I understand that every dog has their own personality and needs, and I always aim to create a safe, positive, and fun experience for every pup in my care. I currently WFH full-time! Afternoon/evenings between 3-7pm on weekdays are ideal times for walks and visits. Weekends would vary, but I have pretty open availability in general! My own pup gets at least three walks a day—a long walk first thing in the morning and another before bed, plus a midday walk for some relief and fresh air. We often go on other adventures, including the beach and the dog park, but this our typical schedule. Because of this routine, I’m very accustomed to walking during high dog-traffic times and always prioritize safe, attentive handling. I stay aware of our surroundings, read dog body language, and use positive reinforcement to keep walks calm, structured, and enjoyable for every pup.
“Brittany does a great job with my timid pittie. My dog was recovering from surgery and she did a great job of giving him love while I was gone. And his pills. 👋 I felt so comfortable leaving him under her care”

About: Hi! I’m Kate 😊 I’m a gentle and caring animal lover with about 6 years of pet care experience. I currently care for a cat and previously had a British Shorthair, so I’m familiar with different cat personalities and routines. I also have past experience caring for dogs, though I no longer have one due to moving and space limitations. I only take one pet at a time, follow each cat’s routine closely, and send regular photo updates. I’m home most of the time, so your pet will get plenty of attention. While I’m newer to Rover, I’m responsible, communicative, and truly enjoy caring for pets 🐾 I'm home almost all day with a very flexible schedule. I work from home, so I'm available for feeding, playtime, and potty breaks throughout the day. Your pet will rarely be left alone for more than 1–2 hours. I provide a clean, quiet, and secure apartment. Doors and windows are always closed and locked. I only take one pet at a time, so your cat will never be around unfamiliar animals. I follow all care instructions carefully and monitor your pet's behavior daily for any changes in appetite, energy, or litter box habits.

We have a safe, large, completely enclosed yard out back and easy access for doggers via large size doggie door! Plenty of toys out back, and visually accessible from my work area. Inside, dog beds and couches offer plenty of resting choices for doggers!
“My pup is incredibly special to me, and I’m very particular about who I trust to take care of him. Samantha’s service blew me away! She is so detail-oriented, and it’s clear she genuinely cares about my little guy. She kept me updated on everything and went above and beyond to make sure he was comfortable. My pup has certain quirks, and she handled each one with patience, love, and care. I couldn’t ask for a better caregiver!”

“This was our first time using Rover. Ivy did a great job checking in on our dog for the three days we were gone. I appreciated her detailed daily check in notes and photos! I also appreciated that when I first messaged to inquire if she was free for the job, she responded quickly and came for a meet and greet that day. I would reach out to Ivy again for future pet care.”

About: I had a chihuahua rescue for 10 years. He had congestive heart failure and hypertension. I had to give him medication like clockwork. He lived to be very old. I have fostered puppies and a pit/lab mix. I’m the go-to dog sitter for all my friends. I currently work shifts that are 5.5-6 hours/4 days a week. Work one 8 hour shift. Walk/feed twice a day. Lots of snuggle time before and after work hours. I always make sure the fur babies are fed at consistent times. Give them lots of snuggles and play time. Take them on long walks (if they are able). I make sure all trash is secure (I had a foster that was obsessed with food). I stick to any routine your furry friend is accustomed to. I am extremely trustworthy and reliable!
“Brenda was very patient with my 2 cats, who had never been left alone before. She took care of everything and I was very happy with the service she provided. Will definitely book again if needed.”

About: I’ve taken care of pets since I was a child. Starting with my family pets and as I got older I began taking care of my siblings and friends pets. I always treat their pets like one of my own and make sure they stick to the schedule they need to. I’m currently transitioning into a new job and starting off part time. I have very flexible hours that pet care can easily be fit into my daily and weekly routine. I am very comfortable with pets and can easily crate your pet if they need to be put in one and pay attention to detail so can properly feed and let pet out on time and to their normal routine.
“Savannah took great care of Maggie and Samba while we were away for the holidays!! Both animals seem seemed very relaxed once we returned. Her Rover cards were informative and she took lots of great pictures!”
“Olivia was great about providing good care for our cat with the basics and went above and beyond to make sure she got some time to socialize too. Really appreciated the care and attention to make sure our cat was looked after and we got detailed updates every day.”

“Yesenia is awesome and has extensive experience with both cats and dogs. She was so patient with Axl as he is a puppy and a bit shy around people. She is responsive, has great communication during check-ins and take lots of pics. Thank you Yesenia 😃!”

About: Hello, I'm Renee (I got by my middle name)! I have lived in San Diego for about 4.5 years. I have a dog and 2 cats with my partner and have had animals my entire life. I believe pets are happiest when life stays as normal as possible while you're away. I work remotely and can stay in your home all day so that your pet isn't left alone for long stretches. Whether they love playtime, walks, cuddles, or simply having someone nearby when they nap, I'm happy to match their routine and give them the attention they deserve. Though I am not a certified trainer, I do love dog training and have done a lot of classes and work with my own dog. I'm happy to continue training your dog while you're away. I currently work from home and have a lot of flexibility in my schedule. I own a car and am able to travel for drop in visits, house sitting, or walks. I am very attentive to the animals in my care and will care for your animal like they are my own. If your dog is in training, I am great with maintaining a routine and being consistent with training. I am also attentive to an animal's boundaries and respectful or their personal space.

I’m so glad Stass and I found Christine! She is so sweet, detailed and communicative. I travel a lot for work, and it brings me such peace of mind to know that Stassi is in great hands while I’m away. I am so grateful for the care and consistent updates she always provides. I 100% recommend her and have even asked to be a recurring client of hers! Thank you so much Christine!

I'm so grateful that Destiny was able to help out when my usual sitter had to cancel last minute! She was very conscientious, taking proactive steps to look after my cat when there was unusually hot weather & other unexpected issues that came up! Thanks again!
It was wonderful to have Ginny come daily in the morning and feed my two cats. One of my cats is way more social than the other, and she was able to get the shy one out and eating while she was there and also pet him. I knew my cats were in compassionate, caring and competent hands.

We had Chelsea over again to watch our 4 year old tuxedo cat. Her communication is always so great & she sends the sweetest photos. Also, my cat is actually obsessed with her. So thankful she makes going away that much easier! We will keep asking her back so long as she will have us!

Brenda is an amazing pet sitter. She is always on time and really cares about pets in her care. She communicates very well and helped with administering medications to my cat. I would highly recommend her and my cat, who was very fond of her, would recommend her as well.

Diesel is currently dealing with old dog vestibular syndrome, so I was pretty nervous about leaving him with a new sitter as my usual one was unavailable. Eric was great! He kept me updated with clear communication, sent plenty of photos, and gave extra care to support Diesel’s condition and progress. He even offered extra drop-ins to make sure Diesel was comfortable. That level of care gave me peace of mind while I was away. I will definitely be booking with Eric again. Highly recommend!

First time Brittany did a drop in for us for our 2 doggies who are very protective and take a while to warm up. Brittany even did a meet and greet prior which was super helpful so she could meet us and the dogs and feel everything out. Brittany’s communication and care is top notch and is truly appreciated.
