“We had a fantastic experience with Nancy for doggie daycare! She was incredibly responsive and friendly throughout the entire process. Our dog, Cash, came home happy and totally exhausted from all the fun he had—which is exactly what we were hoping for! We were hosting an event at our home, and Nancy went above and beyond by offering pick-up and drop-off, which made things so much easier for us. We’re so grateful for her care and will definitely be using her again in the future. Highly recommend!”

“Chau was amazing with our elderly pup. She was super communicative and easy to coordinate with, and obviously knows her stuff when it comes to dogs. We have already booked with her again!”

“Sydney was incredibly accommodating for a last minute request and Luna loved having another doggy to play with. Plenty of photo updates and Luna came home happy and tired. 10/10 would use Sydney again :)”

“Antonio was the best. I got regular video updates and my dog was clearly having the best time during his stay. I look forward to working with Antonio again in the future.”

About: I’ve been a pet sitter for my old neighborhood, friends & family for years. After moving to San Diego, I miss having furry visitors! I love animals & my small/medium sized dog is a very sweet, playful, submissive pup who loves to make friends & have company. I’ve worked with dog trainers and have experience with pets of all ages. I’m always home, so your pet will get a lot of special attention and care. I treat everyone’s pets as if they are my own. I have a fenced courtyard and live right by a fenced grassy field. My dog will be very friendly with your pet and happily share his toys, the couch, and bed. I’ll follow your instructions and preferences for your pet’s care.
“Courtney took great care of my pup! She was very communicative and kept me informed. She was very receptive to any little details I left about my boy. She has an amazing space and her dog Poppy is the perfect play mate. Will absolutely be taking him back!”

“Beth was great! We were in town for the baseball game and didn’t want to leave our dog in the motorhome. Beth took Chloe on a walk, snuggled with her, and got her a pup cup! This was our first time using Rover and it was a great experience.”

“Jennifer took such great care of my dog, Chris. He's a very shy boy but Jennifer had such a calming presence that I could see him getting comfortable with her before I even left. And the photos sent during his stay showed me that he really warmed up to her, which made me at peace. Jennifer is wonderful and definitely cares about the dogs she watches as if they're her own. I'm very picky on who my dog stays with and I would highly recommend Jennifer!”

About: I've been a mom and auntie to a menagerie of furbabies and I can't wait to meet yours! I've been caring for pets all my life and I'm currently an empty nester, so your little ones will be getting all my love and attention. My goal isn't to be the most exciting sparkle in the room (unless that's a clear preference), just a safe, calm, and welcoming presence. I initiate trust by giving animals the space to come to me and listening to their language of need and desire. I enjoy playing and romping with kits and pups, and I also love to learn what an older cat or dog can teach me about fun and games, nurture, treasure hunting, and shy curiosity. Once we've gotten to know each other and I've learned a few of their games, we're soon snuggling and it is always hard to leave. I do not have any formal vet training, but I am willing and able to follow clear instructions for animals with special needs. Examples of specialty care experience include: Small and medium sized-dogs who have acute separation anxiety. Several months of weekend and overnight care for a canine cancer survivor. Nightly subcutaneous saline for cats living with kidney failure. Care for other small animals, including rabbits, gerbils, hamsters, and a ferret (5 years). Cat-walking (leashed). I'm currently working from home part-time as a consultant, so I can flex my day's structure around your furbabies' needs. This means that if your furbaby is staying with me: I have lots of lap time available, with frequent walk/play breaks throughout my day. If you are looking for dedicated attention, we can discuss your needs related to my current schedule. When I'm boarding, I only work for one client at a time, so if you have a menagerie, let's talk. I often work outside on my deck and I have a fenced yard so I can supervise your little ones in the sun (and shade) during the day. If you prefer they stay inside when not playing ball, I can do that. My space is pet friendly and they are welcome on my comfy furniture and on the bed with me unless you want them crated or floor trained. I prefer you bring their own toys and dishes for safety, but can provide mine on your request. Structure and consistency can be very important, so I'll ask you about specific commands, rules, and what they are working on. When walking cats and dogs that I don't know well, I prefer not to socialize them with other animals or people. If you take them to dog parks etc., I'll ask for us to go together so you can talk me through their behavior and signals of when it is time to go. I'm familiar with the "dog houses" to avoid in my own neighborhood. But if I'm walking in your neighborhood, I'll ask about spaces to stay away from.
“Claire was very sweet with my older chihuahua who was not feeling well. She needs a lot of attention and care and I felt completely comfortable leaving her in Claire’s care! She’s wonderful!”

About: Growing up as an only child, Sandra’s pets became her pseudo-siblings. As such, she developed an innate ability to communicate and understand animals at a very young age. She expanded on this knowledge as an adult, volunteering at a non-profit therapeutic horseback riding ranch for over 7 years and becoming a full time dog walker in 2017. After completing over 1500 walks she made the leap to dog trainer, wanting to hone her experience in obedience education and behavior modification. Sandra has an A.S. in Business from Mesa College, is currently working towards a BS in Psychology from SDSU, and is a certified dog trainer (CPDT-KA). Sandra is currently taking new clients for obedience training, pack walks, and dog beach outings as well as sitting and boarding. I am a full time dog trainer and pet care giver. Mornings are for pack outings, afternoons are for training and playing in my home. The dogs are rarely left alone but, when they are, I have security cameras on them at all times. My days "off" are Sunday and Monday and I only do outings for boarding dogs those days and offer more food enrichment than outside time so that we all have some down time and I have some time to clean and prep for the new week ahead! I only offer boarding (no in- home sittings). There are some basic rules and boundaries in my home (ie: no eating/ begging for human food, couch when invited, sharing toys, etc) but, the better behaved the pup is, the more freedom they receive!
