“Mabel loved her time at Araceli’s! Araceli was very warm and welcoming to us humans, but to Mabel she was a dog’s dream host. There are toys, stuffies and balls galore. Mabel absolutely felt at home the second we walked in. Mabel was allowed to get on the couch and Araceli didn’t mind when water dripped off her mouth after drinking water. We knew immediately that Mabel would be in great hands and she was. We were happy to receive pictures and even a video of Mabel having fun. We will definitely use Araceli again. I know Mabel will be excited.”
“Fatima was great. I have only taken my dog to one place the last three years and at the last minute I needed a new place or someone to watch my dog. I am sure I am like most pet parents the thought of leaving my dog with someone I never met was a scary thought. Fatima responded quickly to my request and we met an hour later. She was great with my dog and after meeting with her I started to feel much better. While I was gone she communicated with me about the best times to go. She sent me videos and pictures which made me feel at ease. She also decided to take my girl for a walk (which is no easy task) which is not something we even talked about. It was such a great experience and it allowed me to feel comfortable on my weekend trip. Now that I know her I plan on using her to help us on days when we are gone for a long time or if we want to get away for one night. I actually have two dogs and the last day we had her watch both of them. She was great. About: I’ve been around dogs my entire life and grew up in a home where they were truly part of the family. Over the years, friends and family have trusted me to care for their furry loved ones while they’re away, and I take that responsibility seriously. I also have a dog of my own, Lev, a 6-year-old male who has taught me a lot about patience, communication, and positive reinforcement training. Because Lev can be leash reactive, I’m very comfortable reading dog body language and handling walks calmly and safely. Through consistent positive reinforcement, we’ve built successful and enjoyable walks together. I understand that every dog has their own personality and needs, and I always aim to create a safe, positive, and fun experience for every pup in my care. I currently WFH full-time! Afternoon/evenings between 3-7pm on weekdays are ideal times for walks and visits. Weekends would vary, but I have pretty open availability in general! My own pup gets at least three walks a day—a long walk first thing in the morning and another before bed, plus a midday walk for some relief and fresh air. We often go on other adventures, including the beach and the dog park, but this our typical schedule. Because of this routine, I’m very accustomed to walking during high dog-traffic times and always prioritize safe, attentive handling. I stay aware of our surroundings, read dog body language, and use positive reinforcement to keep walks calm, structured, and enjoyable for every pup.

About: I've had dogs my whole life and have taken care of family and friends dogs overnight and daily check ins. I currently have a 4 year old Wirehaired Pointing Griffon and we put in about 3-5 miles a day to get his energy out! My roommate also has a Labrador who joins us on walks as well. My dogs won't join your dog for a walk unless you specifically request play time. I am currently between jobs so I have a lot of time to take care of dogs. Available at any time and most days. Just need a day notice in advance and I can usually make it work. I have a fenced in front yard and two other dogs if your dog wants to play with others! Multiple walks a day, dedicated play time, and trips to the dog parks available.

About: My late fur baby had CKD and oral cancer. I am experienced caring for special needs cats as I kept her comfortable as long as possible and I’m familiar with administering meds and other sick fur baby needs. If my love was as vast as any cat’s appetite, than your fur babies will be cared for in your absence multiple times over. Available weekends and evenings. I work and live centrally in Talmadge and near Adams Ave and can be available within 15 mins drive to most residences in metro San Diego. I have a dog park at my apartment complex, an outdoor gated walking space, and will look after your pet like family. Even though I have a cat, Bougie knows how to share his space indoor with your fur baby. If you prefer I can drive to you to spend time with them and perform the duties of a responsible pet sitter.

“Due to an injury, living upstairs I’m not supposed to do much of and having to use a cane for awhile, I desperately needed help asap walking my big girl. I really appreciated that his profile noted that he’s comfortable with bigger breeds and has one of his own. I always say yes to watching my friends animals when they go on trips as I don’t have a fur baby of my own yet. They all deserve the most love and attention and I want you to feel safe that I would treat your pet as my own. I am in the process of retiring from the military so hanging out with animals is just the boost of seratonin I love! A must is sending you regular updates and photos to keep you in the loop! I retired from the Navy January 1st of this year so my schedule is super flexible! I started going to school so I have class Monday-Thursday mornings but that’s my only solid commitment at the moment. If your animal needs to be crated that is doable, as well as letting them roam free in the house or to come for adventures along my side.
About: I’ve been caring for pets for several years and have experience with both cats and dogs of all ages and personalities. As a pet owner myself of two cats, I understand how important it is to find someone you can trust with your furry family members. I’m comfortable with feeding, walks, playtime, litter box cleaning, and providing plenty of love and attention. I take pride in being dependable, communicative, and making sure every pet feels safe and comfortable while you’re away. I also work remotely 4/5 weekdays, so am able to be available for any anxious pups! There is two cats in the household so that would be an important in factor in any decisions! They are both sweet girls! I work remotely Monday/Tuesday and Thursday and Friday. I'm available weekends as well. Happy to accommodate depending on the availability/ request/timing/scheduling. Happy to follow any directions/needs from pet owners at their home. My home is an apartment, with two resident fully indoor cats. Just me, my adult partner, and the two cats in house. About: I have a safe place for your pets! I can provide other services for yours including bathing, grooming and training. I have an apartment and live alone with another dog I've adopted who's very friendly! I also volunteer at the El Cajon Humane Society. I do multiple bookings and request your pet be good with others. I'm happy to take them to the park, and a small area outside for frequent potty breaks. I have an area to separate them if needed. I provide updates and make sure everything is okay for your dog or cat. I have a Ring camera installed. Non Neutered / Spayed okay. Just ask they be good with other pets. I make plenty of time for walks and potty breaks. I get up early and take them out for a walk and a longer one in the afternoon and evening, and to the parks nearby. They will be indoors with me. I live alone in an apartment. I don't have kids. I do multiple bookings if dogs are compatible. There are three parks walking distance! Daily coat brushing. Teeth check and brushing 1 time per week. Free bath if booked over 14 nights!
About: Owned dogs since a young age and they deserve the best care and love possible. I strive to give each pupper the best experience possible. I work full-time from 6:00-2:30pm. So anything from 3:00pm and on would totally work. I can also do weekends if needed. Just let me know and we can work out exactly what you need!! I have two dogs at home and they are everything to me. They are reaching old age so having to help them up on the bed or couch is a must. I always strive to give them the best life possible. And so far, I think they’ve gotten it.

Hana can be very anxious and temperamental, but Lori exceeded our expectations and was able to form a bond with her quickly. We usually avoid boarding Hana at larger facilities because she becomes overwhelmed and overly anxious. However, Lori was able to provide Hana with much more intimate care where she felt safer.
