“We’ve never left our dog Chai with anyone other than family and we’re a bit hesitant about leaving her for a few days. When dropping Chai off, Brittany instantly made us feel so comfortable and reassured us that our dog would be just fine. Chai took a liking to Brittany very quickly. Brittany was so good at keeping us updated throughout the day with pictures and a quick update with how Chai was doing and what they had been up too. They went on walks at least twice a day and cuddled (Chai’s favorite). When it was time to pick Chai up we could tell Brittany and Chai had bonded. We are pleased to have met Brittany and highly recommend her to anyone who is in the San Diego area or coming from out of town like us and needing someone who is truly trusting and felt like we were leaving our Chai with family. About: I’ve been around dogs my entire life and grew up in a home where they were truly part of the family. Over the years, friends and family have trusted me to care for their furry loved ones while they’re away, and I take that responsibility seriously. I also have a dog of my own, Lev, a 6-year-old male who has taught me a lot about patience, communication, and positive reinforcement training. Because Lev can be leash reactive, I’m very comfortable reading dog body language and handling walks calmly and safely. Through consistent positive reinforcement, we’ve built successful and enjoyable walks together. I understand that every dog has their own personality and needs, and I always aim to create a safe, positive, and fun experience for every pup in my care. I currently WFH full-time! Afternoon/evenings between 3-7pm on weekdays are ideal times for walks and visits. Weekends would vary, but I have pretty open availability in general! My own pup gets at least three walks a day—a long walk first thing in the morning and another before bed, plus a midday walk for some relief and fresh air. We often go on other adventures, including the beach and the dog park, but this our typical schedule. Because of this routine, I’m very accustomed to walking during high dog-traffic times and always prioritize safe, attentive handling. I stay aware of our surroundings, read dog body language, and use positive reinforcement to keep walks calm, structured, and enjoyable for every pup.
About: I have grown up around pets! Growing up we had a GSP named Ruca and I currently have a cat named Matilda! I have had roommates with multiple pets and I’m very comfortable and attentive to them. I have taken care of family and friends pets through the years. I have experience fostering and dog-sitting pups of all ages, from playful puppies to sweet seniors. She was excellent with communication from the very beginning and very flexible with drop-off and pick-up times, which we really appreciated. We did a brief meet-and-greet session first, and after that Zaira took our Labrador in without any issues. She also has her own dog, Malik (she’s a sweetheart!), and they got along really well, so we had no worries at all. Over the three days, Zaira took great care of our dog, shared pictures regularly, and kept us posted, which gave us complete peace of mind. About: My late fur baby had CKD and oral cancer. I am experienced caring for special needs cats as I kept her comfortable as long as possible and I’m familiar with administering meds and other sick fur baby needs. If my love was as vast as any cat’s appetite, than your fur babies will be cared for in your absence multiple times over. Available weekends and evenings. I work and live centrally in Talmadge and near Adams Ave and can be available within 15 mins drive to most residences in metro San Diego. I have a dog park at my apartment complex, an outdoor gated walking space, and will look after your pet like family. Even though I have a cat, Bougie knows how to share his space indoor with your fur baby. If you prefer I can drive to you to spend time with them and perform the duties of a responsible pet sitter.
“Due to an injury, living upstairs I’m not supposed to do much of and having to use a cane for awhile, I desperately needed help asap walking my big girl. We are active and usually walk at least two miles twice a day. I came across Daniel’s profile, nervous as I’ve never had anyone but myself walk my sometimes very hard headed strong Cane Corso. I really appreciated that his profile noted that he’s comfortable with bigger breeds and has one of his own. About: I grew up with dogs, from Shihtzus to Boxers, and kitties from short hair Tabby to long hair Siamese. I always say yes to watching my friends animals when they go on trips as I don’t have a fur baby of my own yet. They all deserve the most love and attention and I want you to feel safe that I would treat your pet as my own. I am in the process of retiring from the military so hanging out with animals is just the boost of seratonin I love! A must is sending you regular updates and photos to keep you in the loop! I retired from the Navy January 1st of this year so my schedule is super flexible! I have class Tuesday and Thursday mornings but that’s my only solid commitment at the moment. If your animal needs to be crated that is doable, as well as letting them roam free in the house or to come for adventures along my side.

“We’ve never left our dog Chai with anyone other than family and we’re a bit hesitant about leaving her for a few days. When dropping Chai off, Brittany instantly made us feel so comfortable and reassured us that our dog would be just fine. Chai took a liking to Brittany very quickly. Brittany was so good at keeping us updated throughout the day with pictures and a quick update with how Chai was doing and what they had been up too. They went on walks at least twice a day and cuddled (Chai’s favorite). When it was time to pick Chai up we could tell Brittany and Chai had bonded. We are pleased to have met Brittany and highly recommend her to anyone who is in the San Diego area or coming from out of town like us and needing someone who is truly trusting and felt like we were leaving our Chai with family. He really goes above and beyond — he even brings Mello along with him when he’s out running quick errands like picking up pizza or McDonald’s, just so she can feel included and never alone. It’s clear he’s not just watching dogs — he’s trying to be their best friend. The biggest and most wonderful surprise: we had arranged trazodone for Mello to help with her anxiety and sleep, but she’s become so comfortable and happy there that she no longer needs it to rest well at night. About: I’ve had a dog in my home since I was 3. I’ve taken care of pups at all ages and all stages, I will love yours like I love mine. I believe they all deserve the best in life! I work from home so with them all day and close to a park for plenty of walks and outside time. I also have a dog who loves having guests and friends visit! I have a fairly spacious apartment and allow dogs to be on furniture and sleep with me and my pup. If you prefer crate I can accolade that as well!
