Hi, I’m Michelle. I’m a longtime dog owner with over 16 years of experience, and I recently returned to Rover after taking a few years’ hiatus to care for our senior pup full-time. We recently said goodbye to our sweet girl, Mika, who was with us for 16.5 wonderful years. Caring for her taught us so much about patience, comfort, and the extra love senior dogs need. While we’re not quite ready to adopt again, we would truly love to share that love with your pup. My husband and I have a calm, dog-free home, which allows us to give your dog our full attention in a peaceful, low-stress environment. We have a special place in our hearts for senior dogs and those who may need gentler care, but we love pups of all ages. Your dog’s days will include two walks (adjusted for age and energy level), playtime or cozy downtime, treats with your approval, and lots of affection and belly rubs. I also provide photo updates and check-ins so you can feel confident your furry family member is happy and well cared for. My goal is simple: to make your dog feel safe, loved, and at home while you’re away. A Few Things I’d Love to Know To provide the best care possible, please let me know: • Any special needs or medical considerations • If your dog experiences separation anxiety • Feeding schedule, diet, medications, or allergies • Their daily routine and energy level • Favorite comforts, routines, or quirks Important Note Extended stay: An additional $25 day rate applies if pick-up is over the 24-hour period.

Michelle was great with our anxious senior pup! He has separation anxiety and she created a very calming environment for him to hang out at and had a great system to ensure that he was comfortable. She was communicative and easy to plan with. We’ll definitely book with her again!
Michelle was absolutely wonderful with my pup for a week - she made sure to provide lots of pictures, videos, and updates. I could tell my little guy had an absolute blast. I’ll be sure to book again for any extended time out.
Beasley loves staying with Michelle and her husband. He is always so relaxed when we pick him up. I can tell he is well loved in their care. Michelle follows all of our instructions and sends daily updates. Highly recommend
I am so happy to have found Michelle! She took such great care of our boy for the weekend. It's always stressful trusting a new person with your fur baby but she sent lots of pictures with daily updates. He looked very happy and well cared for. He didn't even do his typical stress fast when he came home so I know he was comfortable with her. Thank you, Michelle!!
Michelle did a great job watching my pug, Boba! She was communicative, reliable, and made the whole process easy and stress-free. Boba seemed happy and well taken care of when I got back. I'd definitely book with her again and would recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy sitter.
Michelle took such good care of our senior sweetie Bailey. He moves slowly but still loves his walk, and she took him out often. She took special care with his kidney diet to entice him to eat. She sent several photos so I could see Bailey relaxing and enjoying belly rubs. I didn't worry about him one bit! I highly recommend Michelle, who understood just what a 15-year-old pup needs and did all she could to make his stay wonderful.

Schedule
Your pup will get plenty of attention. We can go for walks and have some play time. Ofcourse (if your pet is older we will go for shorter walks) They’ll get treats and belly rubs. We have a patio with grass they can go potty anytime :)

I have a cozy and fenced patio. They can sit and lay out by the sun. I also have a grassy area for potty breaks anytime the want.
A typical day
In the morning, we go for a quick potty break. Then feed them. After that we can go for a walk. I can give them another potty break around lunch and afternoon. Then feed dinner and last walk of the night.
