Being a stay-at-home mom means I’m home for much of the day, allowing me to provide plenty of supervision, attention, and companionship for boarding and daycare guests. My flexible schedule also makes it easy to accommodate drop-in visits throughout the day. I strive to create a calm, loving environment where every pet feels safe, comfortable, and right at home.

Safety, trust & environment
Your pet’s safety, comfort, and well-being are always my top priorities. I carefully follow all care instructions, including feeding schedules, medications, potty breaks, crate routines, and any special requests to help keep your pet’s routine as consistent as possible. For boarding and daycare, I provide a calm, clean, and supervised home environment. I intentionally accept only one guest dog at a time so I can give each pup my full attention while creating a safe, low-stress experience for both my dog and yours. Guest dogs should be friendly with other dogs, comfortable around a toddler, and respectful of cats. My own dog is friendly but with that said, I believe it’s always important to have a backup plan. If the dogs ever need a break from one another or a situation calls for extra space, my dog is crate trained and happily goes into her crate on command. I’m also happy to crate your dog if that’s part of their normal routine or if it’s the safest option for everyone. My goal is to ensure every dog feels comfortable, secure, and well cared for throughout their stay. We also have one cat in the home, but she mostly keeps to herself and spends much of the day relaxing in another area of the house. She rarely interacts with the dogs, so most boarding pups hardly notice she’s there. For drop-in visits, I’ll make sure your pet has everything they need before I leave—from fresh food and water to playtime, cuddles, or quiet companionship. I’ll also treat your home with the same respect I would my own and leave it just as I found it. Communication is important to me, so you can expect regular updates and plenty of photos while you’re away. My goal is for you to feel confident knowing your pet is safe, happy, and receiving the same love and care I’d give my own.

A typical day
Every dog is different, so I tailor each day to their personality, energy level, and normal routine. My goal is to help your pup feel comfortable, relaxed, and right at home. A typical day includes plenty of supervised play, potty breaks, enrichment, toys, cuddle time (if they’re into that!), and lots of one-on-one attention. I also make time for rest and quiet time so dogs never feel overwhelmed. If your dog enjoys getting out and about, I’m happy to take them on neighborhood walks or explore places like Balboa Park or other local walking trails. With your approval, I can also take social dogs to a dog park for extra exercise and fun. Because I only host one guest dog at a time, your pup will receive individualized care instead of competing for attention in a large group setting. I’ll follow their usual feeding schedule, potty routine, and any special instructions to help them feel as comfortable as possible while you’re away. Throughout their stay, you can also expect regular photo and video updates so you can see just how much fun they’re having!

Pet care experience
Hi there! I’m an experienced Rover sitter with several years of professional animal care experience and many happy repeat clients. Caring for animals isn’t just a job for me, it’s something I genuinely love! Whether your pet is staying in my home or I’m caring for them during a drop-in visit, they’ll be treated like one of my own ❤️ What I Offer: 🏡 Dog Boarding: A safe, loving home where your pup can relax, play, and enjoy plenty of one-on-one attention. 🐾 Doggy Day Care: A fun, structured environment for dogs who need companionship and care while you’re away. 🏠 Drop-In Visits: Reliable visits for feeding, potty breaks, medications, playtime, and lots of love. My Experience: 🐱 6 Years of Cat Care: I have extensive experience caring for cats of all ages and personalities. 🐬 5 Years as a Dolphin Trainer: I worked as a dolphin trainer, including work connected with the U.S. Navy. This experience gave me a strong understanding of animal behavior, communication, positive reinforcement, and safety. 🏥 2 Years in a Veterinary Office: My time in a veterinary clinic gave me hands-on experience with medications, animal health, recognizing signs of illness, and handling pets with patience and confidence. 🐶 Dog Mom: I also have a friendly young dog who loves having a playmate. I understand how important routine, exercise, and individualized care are for every dog. My Home: To provide the best experience possible, I only accept one guest dog at a time. This allows me to give your dog plenty of attention while creating a calm, low-stress environment. For everyone’s safety and comfort, guest dogs should: ✔️ Be friendly with other dogs ✔️ Be comfortable around a toddler (I have a 1.5 year old) ✔️ Be respectful of cats We do have one cat in the home, but she mostly keeps to herself and spends much of the day relaxing in another part of the house. She rarely interacts with the dogs, so most boarding pups hardly notice she’s there. A Quick Note for Pet Parents: I’m a stay-at-home mom to a toddler. During drop-in visits, there may occasionally be times when my son has to accompany me if my wife is working. He is calm around animals and can remain safely secured in his stroller if preferred. I always prioritize your pet’s comfort and safety and am happy to discuss what works best for you. Why Choose Me? ⭐ One guest dog at a time for personalized care ⭐ Professional animal training and veterinary experience ⭐ Calm, patient, and dependable ⭐ Frequent photo and video updates ⭐ A loving home where your pet will be treated like family I’d love to meet you and your furry family member and help make your time away completely worry-free!

Reviews

Chelsea always does a great job looking after my cat!

Chelsea was awesome taking care of my cat, she went above and beyond. She checked his water and food daily, ensured he got daily pets, snacks, and play. Throughout the visit Goose even began to seek pets and attention something he does not usually do. She even went so far as to check and change out his litter bag since it was getting full towards the end of my trip. I am really happy with the service she provided and will happily rebook with her if I need petsitting services.

We had Chelsea back to check on our little guy. Again great communication and photos while we were away! So comforting to have someone we trust watch our nervous kitty while we are away! We will keep asking her back so long as she’ll have us!

Chelsea is wonderful! We trust her 100% and our dog loves her! ❤️
