About: We are Joseph (aka Shane) and Chris, and we're happy you found us! And your Pups will be too! We've boarded dogs at our North Park home, and cared for dogs in their home, for over 16 years - so we are well versed in expert canine care and boarding! We've also had 8 dogs of our own over the last 28 years, adding to our canine care experience. We've owned 5 Greyhounds, a Whippet, Black Lab, and a Staffie; and cared for/boarded many breeds - Goldendoodle, Vizsla, Dachshund, Poodle, Lab, Shih Tzu, Sharpei, Golden Retriever, Frenchies, Boston Terrier, Husky, others! We work from home, almost always here, so plenty of companionship for your Pup! Work affords lots of breaks too, for play time with pups! We have a safe, large, completely enclosed yard out back and easy access for doggers via large size doggie door! Plenty of toys out back, and visually accessible from my work area. Inside, dog beds and couches offer plenty of resting choices for doggers!

“Ali and her partner Jake were wonderful puppy sitters. We just got our pup about a week ago and needed a sitter in a pinch. We called Ali just a few days before we needed her and she was responsive to our request and so helpful. Communication leading up to the day was excellent and it was comforting to know that both Ali and Jake were so excited to spend time with our pup. Ali sat our pup Ozzie for 3 days and each day he came home worn out from a fun day of activity and hands-on time. Ali only takes one pup at a time, so it’s nice to know that the focus is on your dog. He was well-fed and watered and came home a happy guy. I will definitely be calling Ali and Jake if I need sitters for Ozzie in the future.”

I pet sit and care for my roommates, neighbors, and friends animals regularly. I also volunteer at the humane society 5 hours each week, walking and socializing shelter dogs (over 1 year of service & 150 hours). I’m that person saying hi to every dog on the street; feeding and petting stray, often neglected, dogs I meet when traveling internationally; and hoping to hang with your pet when I’m visiting your house! Through my volunteering, I received extensive online and in-person training for dog care and interaction. This includes interacting with, and training, fearful/shy dogs; aggressive dogs; puppies and senior dogs. I regularly walk dogs that are 100+ lbs. I can read dog body language very well and I have a strong understanding of the do’s and dont’s of walking and playing with dogs, especially when their history is unknown. I live in a house with a shared fenced yard shared by other homes in my complex. I live with a dog who belongs to my roommate. We have a calm, spacious home where animals can roam freely. I work full time from home with a flexible schedule so I can walk dogs during the day and care for them around the clock. I can work from any location with WiFi. I have a spacious 2 bedroom house with one female 40lb spayed dog, age 5, mini staffordshire. She loves other dogs and we regularly have dog play dates at our house.

I currently have a wide open schedule and available Monday through Sundays for boarding for daycare. I have a home that is fully pet proof (secure cabinets, secure trash can, and fenced yard).
