“Incredibly kind people and flexible. They have a few dogs that my 4 month old puppy played with. When I got home she went to sleep right away so it seemed like she had plenty of fun! Thanks guys. I will be coming back for your help!”
“Melanie did a wonderful job watching my pup. She gave consistent updates and my pup was relaxed and appeared to be well rested when I picked her up which is the best thing I can ask for … I would definitely rebook Melanie!”

About: Hi, I’m Michelle. I’m a longtime dog owner with over 16 years of experience, and I recently returned to Rover after taking a few years’ hiatus to care for our senior pup full-time. We recently said goodbye to our sweet girl, Mika, who was with us for 16.5 wonderful years. Caring for her taught us so much about patience, comfort, and the extra love senior dogs need. While we’re not quite ready to adopt again, we would truly love to share that love with your pup. My husband and I have a calm, dog-free home, which allows us to give your dog our full attention in a peaceful, low-stress environment. We have a special place in our hearts for senior dogs and those who may need gentler care, but we love pups of all ages. Your dog’s days will include two walks (adjusted for age and energy level), playtime or cozy downtime, treats with your approval, and lots of affection and belly rubs. I also provide photo updates and check-ins so you can feel confident your furry family member is happy and well cared for. My goal is simple: to make your dog feel safe, loved, and at home while you’re away. A Few Things I’d Love to Know To provide the best care possible, please let me know: • Any special needs or medical considerations • If your dog experiences separation anxiety • Feeding schedule, diet, medications, or allergies • Their daily routine and energy level • Favorite comforts, routines, or quirks Important Note Extended stay: An additional $25 day rate applies if pick-up is over the 24-hour period. Your pup will get plenty of attention. We can go for walks and have some play time. Ofcourse (if your pet is older we will go for shorter walks) They’ll get treats and belly rubs. We have a patio with grass they can go potty anytime :) I have a cozy and fenced patio. They can sit and lay out by the sun. I also have a grassy area for potty breaks anytime the want.

“Sandee is such a kind, gentle woman. She immediately got down and greeted my pup. She sent me pictures throughout the day & even filled me in on her concerns of my dog, not eating. (Which is totally normal, when she’s a lil nervous). Sandee’s house & backyard is a zen zone . So tranquil & peaceful. Love love ❤️ 100 recommend :)!! Thank you Sandee!!”

“Our dog Ziggy loves going to Josh's! Josh has a perfect outdoor and indoor set up and gives Zig lots of attention and love while he's there. Ziggy always comes back super happy.”

“She's great. My dog has never been with anyone but family and she is able to comfort him. With my schedule changing, it is wonderful having her as a backup for work. Like I said, she's great.”

“William is super awesome. He took great care of our young pup and was a very cool and funny guy to boot. He was definitley flexible and super responsive. He’ll be a great buddy for my buddy going forward.”

“Mark has been wonderful to work with. Our dog, Mello, has some anxiety around new environments, so we arranged a test daycare day before the official boarding dates. Mark has been incredibly patient and thoughtful in helping Mello get comfortable. We really appreciate how willing he is to work with us and plan a few more test daycare and boarding days ahead of the actual stay. It’s clear he truly cares about making sure the dogs in his care feel safe and supported. Based on this experience, we’re very confident Mello will have a great time during his upcoming stays.”

About: I have owned dogs for a combined time of over 10 years. I enjoy walking them, playing with them, and cuddling with them. Over the summer I have a very flexible schedule as I am a teacher on summer break looking to make some extra cash. I am currently available most weekdays but not weekends. I am an early riser and love to go on walks. I’m looking forward to meeting your pup and spending time with them. I have a fenced back yard and one calm Great Dane/ Lab mix we adopted over a year ago named Danner. We do not have children or any other pets. I would treat your dog as I do my own, with love, care and compassion.

“Whitney was great! Ghost is home sleeping like a baby. I’m glad she enjoyed her time with Whitney, and we have a person we trust to take Ghost to when we need it. I appreciate the updates and communication.”

“My dog, Bella, had an amazing time at Robert and Andrea’s house while I was at work. Indy, their sweet dog, was such a good host too! It was my first time doing “day care” and they made me feel so assured and provided updates as my pup settled in. They went out of their way to make us both feel comfortable. I will definitely be requesting to have them pet sit again!!”

“Gabrielle was fantastic! Kept me updated throughout the day, sent pictures and videos, and took our dog on multiple walks. Absolutely recommend her and her sweet dog to take care of yours!!”

About: I have been taking care of dogs and cats around the neighborhood for years. When our neighbors go on trips, they leave their pets in my care. In the past, I've gone to the beach, taken long walks, and helped with basic training. I am excited to meet all my new furry friends 😁💖 I am free any time, any day! 😁 I are happy to take care of your pet at any time. Your pet will be the center of my attention. I live in a fenced yard with plenty of space for your furry friends to run around. My home is quiet, and there's always someone around to be with your pet. I live in a safe, secure home, with lots of inside space to chill out.

About: Hi there! My wife and I both work from home in College Area, so we are an ideal match for someone looking for a long-term solution to their dog walks/drop-in needs! Our house is 1 mile from the SDSU campus, and we walk our dog about 3-4 miles 6 times a week. We use Rover's app that will email/text you the details of your dog's walk/drop-in, including bathroom breaks, notes, GPS route tracking, and pictures. Dogs have always been a part of our lives, and having both been volunteers in the past, we're well aware of the balance needed for a dog to live a healthy DOG (not human) life. Providing our dog a balanced life is one of the reasons we adjusted our schedules at work, so we wouldn't have to leave Cabby all cooped up while we were gone for 9+ hours a day. We'd love to talk to you about your dog walking/drop-in needs, any questions you'd have for us, and of course to talk about your dog in particular. Rest assured, if there's someone who's going to love your dog like you would, you've come to the right place! About this sitter: We've always been the go-to dog sitter for family and friends. We've both also volunteered at different dog shelters in Michigan, Illinois, and California. Why I love dog sitting: My family got our first dog when I was just 2 years old. I've had at least one dog in my family ever since. Meet my pets: Brookie! See my profile for more information. I can take your dog for a walk and/or do a drop-in visit in the mornings, during lunch, or even later in the evening. I am happy to find a schedule that works best for you and that your dog is comfortable with. I am already very active and know the neighborhood, streets, and nearby parks very well. I walk a lot during the week as part of my regular exercise, and having your dog join me would make it that much more enjoyable.
“Antonio was the best. I got regular video updates and my dog was clearly having the best time during his stay. I look forward to working with Antonio again in the future.”

“Kate was awesome. She responded right away during booking. She made this a great expetience for me. My dog was so happy to have stayed with Kate B. She was professional, kind and caring. Thank you. See you next time.”

“Hooli had a great doggy day care with Shane and Chris! It was our first time leaving our 7.5month old puppy and I could tell she was in good hands. We received lots of photos and updates which put mind at ease!”

“I had such a great experience leaving my dog, Coyol, with Shakyra for the day! From the start, she was incredibly patient during both drop-off and pick-up, which made the whole process smooth and stress-free. Throughout the day, she kept me updated with pictures and messages, which gave me peace of mind knowing Coyol was in good hands. She even took him on a hike, which he absolutely loved! Shakyra was kind, communicative, and clearly cared about Coyol’s well-being. I would definitely recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy and caring dog sitter. Thank you, Shakyra!”

I had a feeling Melanie would be great for some doggie daycare action with our little boy & she was! All-around amazing with him, and us. Very easy to work with & knows the drill with little dogs. We’d def use her again and recommend her for any sitting needs! Thank you again Melanie 💚

Sandee is such a kind, gentle woman. Thank you Sandee!!

Booked my senior dog Hercules for doggy day care with Trinity. She did a great job. Doing the meet and greet and drop offs and pickups were super easy. Trinity sent pics of my dog and he was relaxed and happy. I would highly recommend Trinity and hope I can book with her again in the future.

Kyra was absolutely amazing while watching my dog for a full week. From start to finish, her communication was top-tier—she kept me consistently updated and always made me feel at ease while I was away. She sent frequent pictures and detailed updates, which really reassured me that my dog was happy, safe, and well cared for. We joked and laughed at Banroll goofiness which made my experience with her even better. You can tell Kyra genuinely cares about the animals she watches. My dog looked relaxed, comfortable, and clearly enjoyed being with her. It’s not easy trusting someone with your pet for that long, but Kyra made the entire experience stress-free. I would 100% book with her again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for someone reliable, attentive, and caring. She truly goes above and beyond!

Stefani was great and so sweet! I’ve never had to have my dog stay with a sitter before so I was nervous. She sent me pictures all day and updated me all day with how he was doing. She kept him busy the whole time he was there and I could tell that my dog loved her and had a great time. She was attentive to his weird quirks and made sure he was safe and comfy. I would absolutely leave my dog with her again to watch him!
