“Isabella is incredibly caring and responsive. She kept us updated with messages and photos of our dog throughout the stay, which made us feel relaxed and at ease. I especially appreciated that we didn’t even have to ask! We’ll definitely use her daycare service again when we’re in San Diego. Highly recommended!”

“Alexandra was OUTSTANDING. Excellent communication, on time, reliable, and so kind to my new rescue. I had several people decline taking my new 1 yr old rescue but Alexandra came to my rescue! I will for sure be using her service again. She was so patient and gentle. Her own pups look so happy, that tells you a lot. And my pup was so happy to see Alexandra and her pups daily for daycare. Thank you!!!”

About: I used to have a cat and a hamster and currently own a dog. I have personally trained him and he is now living with my family! I currently go to college in the morning so my availability will be the afternoons along with the weekends in the afternoon and night! I can do boarding on the weekends while caring during the afternoon on the week days! I enjoy playing or relaxing with your animal depending on what they like to do! For dogs, there is a pet relief area in my apartment building however if they are not comfortable with that and/or you have a senior dog, i do have fake grass on my patio right outside of my apartment!

“Chau was amazing with our elderly pup. She was super communicative and easy to coordinate with, and obviously knows her stuff when it comes to dogs. We have already booked with her again!”

“Lara was great! She introduced chewy to so many dogs on their walk, and she said he did great. I’m so happy to hear her calm energy probably helped to socialize my pup. I will definitely call on Lara again in the future if I need dog sitting.”

“Thank you, Leah, for giving Bodhi the space & time he needs in order to properly warm up to new humans and dogs. He’s had a rough life until now, but w/your help, he’s starting to be more trusting and willing to leave me. Thank you again!”

“Melissa is absolutely fantastic! I’m completely neurotic about who watches my pup and she put me 100% at ease. She sent me pics and updates about my pup, which was great. Most of all, I knew my pup was in good hands by how excited she was every morning when we got close to Melissa’s place ... she knew she was going to have a great day!”

About: I have had many dogs and help take care of many dogs. I have never had a problem and dogs are always happy with me. Respectfully will only watch dogs that are friendly, loving, and not aggressive. I work full time from home so can be with your dog all day :) happy to walk them and play with them through out the day. They wouldn’t have to be locked up all day. I’ve had multiple dogs throughout life and currently have a rescue dog. She loves dogs and is very happy to make new friends. She will do great with your dog too
“Silke and Jerry were kind and very communicative. It's clear that they love dogs and they were able to understand and work with Amon's separation anxiety. They played with Amon a lot and I think a good time was had by all :).”

“Camille was amazing with my mini dachshund puppy! She was super flexible with my long work hours and change of schedule. Sent pictures and updates throughout the day and an hour by hour note of everything they did at daycare that day 🥺 she spent so much time playing with him and taking him on walks even during her work day, I know he felt loved!”

About: Dogs give us "2 paws up" for our slumber parties. :) Dogs are my cause. I've been nurturing and protecting them for 14 years. I've also learned from them and been protected by them ... because dogs are the best species on earth. I have a soft spot for senior, special-needs, and shy dogs. I’m a fiercely protective dog mom and dog Aunty whose beloved boy Django just passed away at 15. He was my heart dog and soul dog. Still is. He was a senior, arthritic, deaf dog with other special needs and health challenges. I dedicated my life to exceeding his needs whether emotional, mental, spiritual or physical, and whether about diet, lifestyle or environment. I became an integrative wellness practitioner for dogs so that I would be educated and prepared as Django went through different life stages. Some of his successes include overcoming separation anxiety, handling hearing impairment with grace, managing arthritis well, stopping tremors, beating liver disease, having agency about his time to die, and staying connected even now. I’ve taken care of dogs for the past 14 years, starting with Django (adopted then), his pals, neighbors’ dogs, and other clients. In New York City, I had a referral-based doggie B&B where I became Auntie to dozens and dozens of dogs through the years who would look forward to their sleepovers and playtime with Django. It was like sleepaway camp, but in a loving home. I’m new to this app, but I’ve done dog-sitting since moving to California as well as other pet care and animal wellness services - energy healing, animal communication, nutrition guidance, detox education, stress management support, and a digital course on holistic health for dogs. I’m certified in Reiki for animals, integrative health coaching, and am working on pet loss grief support services. I've also produced loads of events from dog birthday parties to celebrations of life, and from art exhibits to rock concerts and cultural festivals. With animal wellness coaching and my digital course, I’ve helped dog parents get clear on dietary, lifestyle and environmental choices for their dogs to optimize wellbeing and manage stress. Happy to share wellness tips and dog food resource guides I've created for clients. I’m an animal advocate and plan to foster dogs in need through TAP, Frosted Faces, and/or other rescues while I also volunteer at SD Humane Society. My husband is retired from FDNY EMS, and his first responder emergency medicine background has proven critically important with a few dogs in our care over the years. It’s a privilege to be with and care for animals. We are downtown near Seaport Village, lovely parks, and the waterfront in a mini-oasis of a community with our own lovely patio and HOA security. We would love to connect, meet your dogs, and have an opportunity to take care of them in our home. I'm currently working from home with my small animal wellness business beyond dog-sitting, and freelancing in event planning, so I have plenty of time to take care of your precious dogs. My husband and I welcome dogs throughout the house, including on our bed. We also have comfortable dog beds. Our large outdoor patio is a bonus in downtown San Diego, and it is enclosed with an artificial grass area for dogs if they need the relief between walks. We'd provide at least three walks per day as well. I always let dogs determine the pace as many walk more slowly than I would if walking alone. I'm always paying attention when walking dogs - not staring at my phone. I'm present and protective of the pups in my care. Healthy, delicious dog treats are plentiful here, though we believe in keeping dogs at ideal weights for their health. We will follow your lead and instructions when it comes to your dogs. There will always be filtered water available for the pups. At our home, you'll often find relaxing music on, nice natural light, and lots of comfortable spots for dogs to make themselves at home both inside and on our Zen patio. We keep our home at a comfortable temperature for the pups with fresh air flowing in, and we have AC or heat when needed. Toys are plentiful, but we can remove them if you're concerned about antlers or if your dog might be a chewaholic. We have kongs and puzzle feeders, too. I always give dogs extra attention at first - even if that means giving them space - so that they can acclimate to the new environment. When my dog Django was alive, he'd mentor the newcomers and show them the ropes. With few exceptions, the dogs adjusted quickly and saw our place as home away from home. I'm good at reading dogs' body language and understanding them on many levels, which includes determining if two dogs might need space from each other. We're fortunate to live in a community that welcomes dogs of all sizes and breed mixes. If you have a dog who needs to be the solo dog staying with us, that can often be arranged. We always want to discuss the dogs' needs, behavior, temperament, routine, likes and dislikes beforehand so that we can do our best to ensure a good fit. We like to have clients complete a client survey and a medical emergency form just to be prepared in the event of such an emergency if clients were unreachable.
“Evan and Julia are really terrific. Really nice people on top of being great dogsitters. I really appreciate how well they took care of my big guy. You can’t go wrong with them as your dog sitters.”

“Kristen was great! We booked her to dog sit for the day while we were in San Diego on vacation. She was responsive, conveniently located, super friendly and we felt totally comfortable leaving Gulliver for the day. I highly recommend her services!”

“Nuala stayed with Hanna for one day, she had a great time! Hannas communication was great, we booked last minute and she was happy to accommodate. Hanna seems very caring and gave us updates during Nualas stay. We will definitely book again!”

About: I’m a stay-at-home and remote working (part time currently) tech marketing professional, here in the heart of San Diego. This affords me **95% full flexibility and availability** in times I can provide dog walks, drop in visits, and accept daycare/boarding drop offs and pick ups! :) I care for all animals as if they were my own, because I understand the anxiety of leaving our furbabies when work or travel calls. 🥹❤️🩹🥰 I’ve loved caring for my Bombay 🐕 the past 5 years, and have dog walked + dog sat + cat sat for friends countless times. I live in an apartment with my chill 7 year old pup, and we enjoy walks in the neighborhood and the grass park every 2-4 hours. (On hot days, we drive straight to the grass park to avoid the cement/asphalt). This life style, with a commitment of only a flexible few hours of computer work at home each day, gives me a chance to give plenty of attention to all fur babies in my care. Especially for pups who may feel more at home in a relaxed setting (instead of the chaos of bustling day care centers or confines of a boarding kennel), my apartment can be the *calm* oasis for them whether the need care just for the daytime or for extended overnight boarding. 🥰 For cat parents 🐈⬛🐈😻: I cared for a lovely cat for 1.5 years that I dearly miss. I cannot board cats in my apartment, but I can do daily or twice daily cat visits for clients along with the duties of liter box / feeding / play time. Please reach out to me so we can arrange care! >>> I can often accept SAME-DAY-care requests after 9 AM if my calendar shows me as available. (I understand sometimes things happen last minute and you need a trustworthy person to step in and care for your pet). If you’re in the downtown area are looking for somebody in the downtown area. Cara was really good. She was able to take care of Samara my dog very well making sure she took her on walks very periodically. More than other sitters that I have experienced. She will make your dog feel like one of hers while keeping you updated throughout the day. Cara provided pictures and text update's if you’re looking for a sitter, Cara is perfect.

We did a doggy daycare with Kimberly. Kimberly was very flexible with pickup/drop-off times and very responsive to messages. Our pup had a great time! He was very comfortable and had fun playing with Kimberly. We’re looking forward to our boarding stay with Kimberly.

Came into town for a mini staycation but wanted to watch a baseball game and needed a dog sitter. I reached out to Jerry & Silky and they were the perfect fit. First time booking for a dog sitter too!! I dropped off a happy dog and picked up a happy dog. She was cuddled and went on a walk. I enjoyed all the photos too to show it!

Shane and Chris were amazing with my dog Bennett! I literally booked them the night before on a very unusual circumstance where I needed help last minute and they were incredibly accommodating! Their house is a dog’s paradise and Bennett enjoyed having the yard to play in! They were incredibly professional, and I would highly recommend them for exceptional and thorough dog care!

I would absolutely recommend having your pup stay with Evan and Julia. Our dog Benny had a wonderful time with them (dog park included!) and I knew he was in good hands while we were exploring San Diego. If we are back in SD we will definitely reach out to them, Benny had such a blast. Thank you!!

Samantha was great with my little one! She was super communicative and accommodating when I had a last minute time adjustment. Friendly, sent pictures, and reached out throughout the day just letting me know how the stay was going. Recommend and will be bringing my little one around regularly :)
