About: I used to have a cat and a hamster and currently own a dog (does not live with me). I have personally trained him and he is now living with my family! I currently go to college in the morning so my availability will be the afternoons along with the weekends in the afternoon and night! I can do boarding on the weekends while caring during the afternoon on the week days! I enjoy playing or relaxing with your animal depending on what they like to do! For dogs, there is a pet relief area in my apartment building however if they are not comfortable with that and/or you have a senior dog, i do have fake grass on my patio right outside of my apartment!

About: 👋 Hi, we’re Brian and Bea! We’ve had dogs all our lives and have been primary doggie caretakers since we were kids. We both work from home, so your dog gets company, potty breaks, praises and attention all day! 🐕 We live with Amaru, our AKC Canine Good Citizen-certified Shiba Inu. If you know Shibas, you know they're independent, picky about food, and selectively deaf when it suits them. Living with one has made us patient with dogs who are slow to warm up or particular about their routine. Amaru is also very social, so your pups get a playmate and nap buddy as well! ❤️ We believe the bond between people and dogs is one of the sweetest things in life. Their time with us is never long enough, so we want to help them enjoy every bit of it and give them the same unconditional love they give us. ✍️ We'll follow your feeding, medication, and walk schedule exactly as written, keep your house rules, and send photo updates. We treat every dog here the way we treat ours: like our baby ♥️🫶 👫 We’re a work-from-home couple with a social Shiba, so pet care naturally fits into our daily routine. We’re available for doggy daycare visits on weekdays and Saturdays after 9am. Our workday breaks already revolve around Amaru (a quick walk, a game of fetch, or a few minutes of trick practice) and your dog would easily fit into that same rhythm. Evenings are dedicated to dog time, with plenty of walks, play, training, and couch cuddles. We’re also happy to follow your dog’s usual schedule for meals, walks, medications, and bedtime whenever possible. Our goal is to keep their routine familiar and comfortable, so they feel right at home while they’re with us. 🏡 We live in a spacious apartment with a big private rooftop deck, and Petco Park is just about a block away for walks. Dogs are welcome on the furniture and in every room of our home, so they can settle in wherever they’re most comfortable. 🐶 We like to start with a meet-and-greet so both you and your dog can feel comfortable before the stay begins. Amaru is very social and has never shown aggression toward a dog or person. He’s also famously picky about food (😩) so visiting dogs don’t have to worry about him being possessive over food. That said, we still feed dogs separately as a standard precaution and never leave visiting dogs unsupervised together. 📸 Our camera roll is already full of Amaru photos, so sending you regular pictures and updates of your dog throughout the day comes naturally. 🚨We’ll also collect your vet’s information and an emergency contact before the stay, and we’ll reach out right away if we notice anything unusual. Your dog’s safety and comfort always come first☝🏻!

“Zaira was amazing with our dog during the three days we needed daytime care while we were out. She was excellent with communication from the very beginning and very flexible with drop-off and pick-up times, which we really appreciated. We did a brief meet-and-greet session first, and after that Zaira took our Labrador in without any issues. She also has her own dog, Malik (she’s a sweetheart!), and they got along really well, so we had no worries at all. Over the three days, Zaira took great care of our dog, shared pictures regularly, and kept us posted, which gave us complete peace of mind. If you’re visiting San Diego and need a reliable and caring place to leave your pup, Zaira is someone you can trust without hesitation. Highly recommended!”

Tatiana was amazing! I needed a last minute day sitter for my 15 year old Jack Russel, and she was nothing but so sweet and attentive to my boy. She sent me regular updates and gave him multiple potty breaks, and really gave me peace of mind being that I’ve never used Rover before or a sitter for my baby. She was so kind with him given he has separation anxiety! I highly recommend her!
Raquel and her partner are amazing and incredibly professional! We needed someone to watch our recently adopted rescue for a few hours each day while we were in town doing touristy things and attending concerts. Their communication was excellent, and their flexibility with our schedule—especially some of our later pickups—was very much appreciated. This was my first time using Rover, so I was a little nervous about leaving our sweet girl with someone we didn’t know. But after the meet and greet, I had zero worries and knew Patsy would be in great hands. I was able to thoroughly enjoy our outings without stressing about how she was doing. Patsy was excited to be dropped off and always came home a happy girl! She got plenty of potty breaks, and Raquel adapted to all of Patsy’s little quirks with ease. It was clear that Patsy felt comfortable and well cared for. We’re so glad we found Raquel and will absolutely book with her again whenever we’re in the area! Our dogs had the best time at Joseph and Chris’ home. We were in town just for the weekend and Joseph and Chris were very accommodating in hosting our pups while we went to the zoo. Communication leading up to the visit, and during their stay was phenomenal. Once we picked up our dogs, they fell asleep immediately, which is always a sign of a good time!
We absolutely loved Vanessa! ❤️ This was my first time using Rover, and I’m so glad I did because it led us to her. She was so sweet, kind, and loving with Mana from the moment we met her. While visiting the South Park area of San Diego we knew we would need “doggie day care” for our “separation anxiety” Doodle! I immediately went to ROVER and felt a connection to Lisa’s profile and never had a second thought. Not only was she in the neighborhood just blocks away, she was flexible, accommodating, communicative and an obvious lover of dogs. Plenty of walks, loads of cell phone updates and pics, and clear communication on every level. Lisa was able to rotate care from our house, to her house, and the Dog Park in between. She even made sure our pup made “friends” in the neighborhood! I encourage you to trust your pup to Lisa and feel assured that your fur-baby is in excellent hands! WOOF!
Courtney is professional, kind and very easy to work with. She communicated well and took great care of my pup. Millie was so excited to see her and her dog the second day she came that she sprinted out of my car to her yard. I'd definitely recommend her and will be booking with her again in the future.
I reached out on short notice needing a sitter for my Belgian Malinois mix and honestly wasn’t sure who’d be up for it, mals are a lot. High energy, smart, need real exercise and mental stimulation or they get destructive/anxious. Derya didn’t just tolerate that, they clearly got it. My dog came home tired in the best way and completely unstressed, which tells me they were actually engaged and working with her energy instead of just containing it. She also sent photos and videos constantly throughout the visit, I always knew exactly what she was up to and could tell she was genuinely having a good time, not just being watched. That kind of communication is huge, especially when you’re booking last minute and a little anxious about leaving a dog like this with someone new. On top of that, they pulled it together on very short notice without missing a beat communicative, reliable, and clearly experienced with working breed temperaments, not just easy lapdogs.
