“Mabel loved her time at Araceli’s! Araceli was very warm and welcoming to us humans, but to Mabel she was a dog’s dream host. There are toys, stuffies and balls galore. Mabel absolutely felt at home the second we walked in. Mabel was allowed to get on the couch and Araceli didn’t mind when water dripped off her mouth after drinking water. We knew immediately that Mabel would be in great hands and she was. We were happy to receive pictures and even a video of Mabel having fun. We will definitely use Araceli again. I know Mabel will be excited.”

About: I have a cat of my own for three years now so I am very familiar with working with animals and caring for them. I am trying to get my foot in the animal industry so I thought this would be a good opportunity to learn more about animals and care for them. I do work part time in the mornings during the week but in the afternoon and nights I have full availability and able to work around my schedule if full time hours are offered. I currently have two dogs in one cats. I have a blue Doberman, Belgium, Melany, German👽 Shepherd mix and a long hair domestic cat. The dogs have had for about seven years now. And my cat. About: I used to have a cat and a hamster and currently own a dog. I have personally trained him and he is now living with my family! I currently go to college in the morning so my availability will be the afternoons along with the weekends in the afternoon and night! I can do boarding on the weekends while caring during the afternoon on the week days! I enjoy playing or relaxing with your animal depending on what they like to do! For dogs, there is a pet relief area in my apartment building however if they are not comfortable with that and/or you have a senior dog, i do have fake grass on my patio right outside of my apartment!

About: Had my Golden Retriever over 14.5 years. We are very patient, around the house all day, and have some toys and treats that our sweet Bailey girl left behind we’d like to share! Will take your pup on walks, make sure they are fed appropriately and give lots of complimentary belly rubs. Both of us are home a majority of the day. We are active. Happy to take your pets on walks or any outdoor activities they may enjoy. Have a large condo so plenty of space. About: Dogs are an integral part of the family! Growing up, we always had at least 3 dogs. Dogs are family not animals to me. I have always taken care of my family pets as well as neighbors dogs. As a teenager, I would take care of my neighbors pitbull and cocker spaniel by feeding them and playing with them when the neighbors were at work or on vacation. I know have 2 dogs, an 10 year old husky and a 6 year old chihuahua mix. They are still very youthful and cared for greatly. They definitely do not act there age. I love taking care of dogs and making their lives as special as they make mine. I am a full time dog mom! I am going to school, but I have the luxury of being attending from home which leaves me plenty of time for loving on the puppers. I have 2 dogs that are very friendly. If needed, I can crate you furry family member. My husky has food allergies so I have experience making sure the fur baby doesn't get into anything that would make their stomachs unhappy. I am super vigilant during walks and sun bathing since both of my dogs are severely allergic to bees. If you board your pet with me, they will be treated just like family. Your furry family member will become one of our family members while they are here. Any dietary restrictions or house rules you wish to disclose will be followed exactly!

About: Before having a dog of my own, community members would entrust me with their babies for an evening occasionally. This lasted since I was 12 until 15. I would play with them and walk them for several hours. A few years ago I met Melody, a beautiful big golden chihuahua. She was already entering old age. Still, with her small body and big bark, I adored her. She passed away and then I came into care of a husky puppy. I named her Aria in honor of her sister. She has blossomed into a beautiful big girl. Since she became mine, I learned to give much more energy into her physical activity, and I learned about her individual nutrition. Training a stubborn personality like hers has been challenging but fun. It’s taught me to be strict and authoritative so she follows me as a leader. At the same time I spoil her and shower her with lots of love and attention. 5 mile walks are no sweat for me. Currently I am a student. My schedule clears me fully 4 days of the week: Monday, Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday. Daily I walk a lot and travel all over San Diego. I do not offer pet care in my own home, however as a pet parent, I understand what to be cautious of and expect. I will take any requests and each individual environment and personality into consideration when given the opportunity to care for a pet in my client’s home.

“Lori watched our dog Hana for four nights and we couldn’t be more pleased. Hana can be very anxious and temperamental, but Lori exceeded our expectations and was able to form a bond with her quickly. We usually avoid boarding Hana at larger facilities because she becomes overwhelmed and overly anxious. However, Lori was able to provide Hana with much more intimate care where she felt safer. Lori provided daily updates showing us that Hana was active and well taken care of. This made it much easier to feel at ease while we are on vacation. We will certainly be using her again.”
