About: I used to have a cat and a hamster and currently own a dog (does not live with me). I have personally trained him and he is now living with my family! I currently go to college in the morning so my availability will be the afternoons along with the weekends in the afternoon and night! I can do boarding on the weekends while caring during the afternoon on the week days! I enjoy playing or relaxing with your animal depending on what they like to do! For dogs, there is a pet relief area in my apartment building however if they are not comfortable with that and/or you have a senior dog, i do have fake grass on my patio right outside of my apartment!
“Alexandra was fantastic!! Great care taker, super responsive, very flexible on time (she accepted the job even tho i gave zero advance notice!). Plus she sent us pics of our dog proactively. Thanks Alexandra!!”

About: Hey there! I’m a proud doggo-dad who works from home (tech industry). I’d love to start watching your pup, PLUS my doggo, Frida, could use some friends. I work from home. Me and my doggo live in a luxury high rise building in downtown San Diego. I take my doggo out for potty breaks 4 times a day, and thus can easily do the same with your doggo. I’m an overprotective dog dad who keeps a close eye on my doggo as I work from home all day. Thus, I can easily do the same with your pup!
“Lara was absolutely the best at taking care of our pup Perseus. He got along well with her, she knew how to make him comfortable in a new place, and she sent pictures and videos during the day care.”

“Chau is wonderful. My dog absolutely adored her and her two sweet pups—she warmed up to them right away and clearly felt at ease. She came home relaxed, happy, and well cared for. Chau sent plenty of thoughtful updates and photos, which gave me so much peace of mind. I will happily book with her again!”

“Isabella was a life saver for us during our visit to California. We last minute needed a sitter and she was available and was great with both my pups. Would book again”

About: Howdy! I've been on rover for a few years now. I briefly stopped in 2023 and then in 2024 I moved down to SD. Now that my pooch and I are settled in we are ready to dog sit again! Throughout my time with Rover I developed a number of regular folks that trusted their dogs with me and my pooch. I have one dog, Butler. He's 8 and is a loving and patient dalmatian. And as you can see in the photos uploaded he definitely enjoys the dog company 🐾 See below for my work schedule :) I work in the office two days a week and work from home the other 3. On the work days in the office I am gone the whole time so I ask that your pooch is well acclimated to being able to be left alone for that extended period of time I live in an apartment right now that has plenty of parks around it so to make sure the dogs get exercise we can either go on long walks at least twice a day or go to the nearby parks
“Adrian was amazing! She was super flexible with my changing plans. I love that she gave a full update at the end of the stay so I knew he was in good hands! Totally recommend:)”

“I would absolutely recommend Sandra to anyone looking for a trustworthy and caring sitter. She truly treated Pluto like her own dog, and I’ll definitely be booking with her again!”

I treat every pet as if they were part of my own family. Caring for pets fits naturally into my daily routine, as I organize my activities to be present and attentive throughout the day. I spend most of my time at home, which allows me to supervise, play with, and attend to the needs of each pet. I adapt to their feeding, walking, and rest schedules so they feel comfortable and relaxed during their stay. I provide a calm, safe, and supervised environment. I always respect each pet's routines and preferences, observe their body language, and act with patience. “Natalie exceeded my expectations! Dropped off a new puppy for the evening and everything went perfectly. The pup came home happy and even slept through the night, will definitely work with Natalie in the future!”

About: I grew up with parents who owned their own animal shelter, so caring for dogs has been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. Being around dogs of all ages, sizes, and personalities taught me how to understand their needs and provide patient, loving care. As a Navy veteran, I’ve also developed strong responsibility, reliability, and attention to detail. I treat every dog like family and am committed to providing a safe, fun, and loving environment so both you and your pup can feel comfortable and at ease. Pet care naturally fits into my daily routine because I’ve been around animals my entire life. Growing up with parents who owned an animal shelter taught me the importance of feeding schedules, exercise, playtime, and giving pets plenty of love and attention. I have a flexible schedule and make time each day for walks, outdoor activities, and quality one-on-one care, ensuring every pet feels safe, comfortable, and well cared for. I provide loving, attentive care tailored to each pet’s needs. In my home, I create a safe, comfortable environment with plenty of playtime, exercise, potty breaks, and affection. In a client’s home, I follow the pet’s usual routine as closely as possible, including feeding schedules, walks, medications if needed, and lots of companionship. Having grown up with parents who owned an animal shelter, I’m comfortable caring for dogs of different sizes, ages, and personalities, and I treat every pet like they’re my own.
About: I’m a stay-at-home and remote working (part time currently) tech marketing professional, here in the heart of San Diego. This affords me **95% full flexibility and availability** in times I can provide dog walks, drop in visits, and accept daycare/boarding drop offs and pick ups! :) I care for all animals as if they were my own, because I understand the anxiety of leaving our furbabies when work or travel calls. 🥹❤️🩹🥰 I’ve loved caring for my Bombay 🐕 the past 5 years, and have dog walked + dog sat + cat sat for friends countless times. I live in an apartment with my chill 7 year old pup, and we enjoy walks in the neighborhood and the grass park every 2-4 hours. (On hot days, we drive straight to the grass park to avoid the cement/asphalt). This life style, with a commitment of only a flexible few hours of computer work at home each day, gives me a chance to give plenty of attention to all fur babies in my care. Especially for pups who may feel more at home in a relaxed setting (instead of the chaos of bustling day care centers or confines of a boarding kennel), my apartment can be the *calm* oasis for them whether the need care just for the daytime or for extended overnight boarding. 🥰 For cat parents 🐈⬛🐈😻: I cared for a lovely cat for 1.5 years that I dearly miss. I cannot board cats in my apartment, but I can do daily or twice daily cat visits for clients along with the duties of liter box / feeding / play time. Please reach out to me so we can arrange care! >>> I can often accept SAME-DAY-care requests after 9 AM if my calendar shows me as available. “Zaira was a great sitter and provided several photos during my dogs day care with her. I would recommend her to others and plan to book with her again in the future.”

I inquired about a last-minute booking, and Gabrielle was incredibly accommodating and flexible with the schedule. She also took great care of everything, being very meticulous with feeding. Thanks to her sending photo and video updates so quickly and frequently, I was able to fully enjoy my time with total peace of mind. She is a wonderful and sweet sitter! ❤️

Booked with Jeremy for a last-minute day trip to San Diego. He was responsive, easy to work with, and took great care of my highly anxious Australian Shepherd. Huckleberry seemed more settled than usual afterward and looked like he genuinely enjoyed his day. I’d happily book with Jeremy again.

We found our San Diego sitter! Isabella took great care of Charlie & Charlotte. They had a great time snuggling with her and playing with Leilani. She kept us updated with their activities and really watched them like her own. 5/5 strongly recommend! We will be back soon, Auntie Isabella!

Zannah was a kind and loving dog sitter for Tula! We were in town for a conference and needed help for a couple of hours during the weekend. Our 1-year old puppy ended up having a last minute, adolescent doggie event - and Zannah rolled with it in a patient and caring manner. She is very in-tune with dogs and respects them! Also - if you are staying downtown, she is in a very convenient location. I highly recommend her for your furry friends!
