That said, we still feed dogs separately as a standard precaution and never leave visiting dogs unsupervised together. 📸 Our camera roll is already full of Amaru photos, so sending you regular pictures and updates of your dog throughout the day comes naturally. 🚨We’ll also collect your vet’s information and an emergency contact before the stay, and we’ll reach out right away if we notice anything unusual. About: I used to have a cat and a hamster and currently own a dog (does not live with me). I have personally trained him and he is now living with my family! I currently go to college in the morning so my availability will be the afternoons along with the weekends in the afternoon and night! I can do boarding on the weekends while caring during the afternoon on the week days! I enjoy playing or relaxing with your animal depending on what they like to do! For dogs, there is a pet relief area in my apartment building however if they are not comfortable with that and/or you have a senior dog, i do have fake grass on my patio right outside of my apartment!

I am super vigilant during walks and sun bathing since both of my dogs are severely allergic to bees. If you board your pet with me, they will be treated just like family. About: I’ve taken care of my extended family’s dogs whenever they go on vacation. I also have a senior dog and try to give him the best life I possibly can! I absolutely believe dogs are a human’s best friend and always treat every dog like my own! I currently work from home 7am-1pm, Mon-Fri. I’m available anytime after 1:30pm and available anytime during weekends! I would also be available weekday + weekend nights. I would have plenty of time to play with your pups! I would follow any specific instructions and will keep your fur baby entertained and safe. If you have a yard, I’ll make sure to play with them and give them the exercise they need with walks.

I recently lost my 8-year-old lab/pitty mix and am hoping to continue engaging with dogs while dealing with the loss. I prefer to take dogs out at least twice daily for walks, including one longer scent walk where we let their nose lead the way. I live close to downtown San Diego and can easily walk to East Village or Gaslamp which is are extremely dog friendly areas. I have a small fenced-in yard and can easily crate your dog if necessary. I have experience administering oral medications if necessary and always keep a well stocked pet first aid kit in my home and car. If caring for your pet in your home, I can adapt easily to their routine and will meet your pet at their comfort level.
About: I’ve been surrounded by dogs for most of my life, and caring for them is something I truly love. I’ve also been dog sitting for family, friends, and neighbors here and there over the years, and during Covid, I would watch one of my close neighbor’s dogs for about a year. Now I’m excited to finally turn that passion into my job through Rover. My family has adopted rescue dogs from local shelters since I was 10 years old. Our first dog was Lucy, a sweet Chihuahua mix who completely stole our hearts. A few years later, we welcomed our sweet boy, Axle, into the family. Sadly, we lost both of them last March, but they’ll always have a special place in my heart. Today, I have two adorable little rascals who keep life fun! Fiona is our pit bull mix, and Rocky is our Chihuahua mix. About: I have a Mini Australian Shepard of my own who is 3 years old, whom I trained myself. He is very well behaved. Additionally, I’ve been a dog and cat sitter for friends and family over the past 5 years. My service will include lots of walks, love, and play time with your pet. I’m currently working part-time so I have plenty of time to play with your pups! I’m available all day on weekends and on weekdays after 6 p.m. Although I live in an apartment, I do have access to 2 fenced dog parks across the street and I live close to Balboa park which makes for great walks!

We got photos and sometimes videos on a daily basis, which helped put our minds at ease during our vacation over Thanksgiving. We could see that our dogs were getting great walks, being properly fed and in a loving environment.
