“Mabel loved her time at Araceli’s! Araceli was very warm and welcoming to us humans, but to Mabel she was a dog’s dream host. There are toys, stuffies and balls galore. Mabel absolutely felt at home the second we walked in. Mabel was allowed to get on the couch and Araceli didn’t mind when water dripped off her mouth after drinking water. We knew immediately that Mabel would be in great hands and she was. We were happy to receive pictures and even a video of Mabel having fun. We will definitely use Araceli again. About: I have had many dogs and help take care of many dogs. I have never had a problem and dogs are always happy with me. Respectfully will only watch dogs that are friendly, loving, and not aggressive. I work full time from home so can be with your dog all day :) happy to walk them and play with them through out the day. They wouldn’t have to be locked up all day. I’ve had multiple dogs throughout life and currently have a rescue dog. She loves dogs and is very happy to make new friends. She will do great with your dog too

About: I grew up with both a cat and hogan’s would love to have a pet of my own right now but just can’t afford it, so I love taking in your pets for a couple days and giving them all my love! I work primarily from home with a couple days a month in office, my boyfriend, who is also a dog and cat lover (currently has a dog at his parents house) works from home and will be able to provide all the attention and care your pets need while I am out. On weekends will do everything from hiking to going to the beach with your pets. My apartment is a pet friendly apartment, almost every person that lives there has a dog. We have our own dog park that is attached to the apartment with a fenced in area where dogs can play. No substances or small children, just my boyfriend and I in a spacious two bedroom.

About: I used to have a cat and a hamster and currently own a dog. I have personally trained him and he is now living with my family! I currently go to college in the morning so my availability will be the afternoons along with the weekends in the afternoon and night! I can do boarding on the weekends while caring during the afternoon on the week days! I enjoy playing or relaxing with your animal depending on what they like to do! For dogs, there is a pet relief area in my apartment building however if they are not comfortable with that and/or you have a senior dog, i do have fake grass on my patio right outside of my apartment!

About: Howdy! I've been on rover for a few years now. I briefly stopped in 2023 and then in 2024 I moved down to SD. Now that my pooch and I are settled in we are ready to dog sit again! Throughout my time with Rover I developed a number of regular folks that trusted their dogs with me and my pooch. I have one dog, Butler. He's 8 and is a loving and patient dalmatian. And as you can see in the photos uploaded he definitely enjoys the dog company 🐾 See below for my work schedule :) I work in the office two days a week and work from home the other 3. On the work days in the office I am gone the whole time so I ask that your pooch is well acclimated to being able to be left alone for that extended period of time I live in an apartment right now that has plenty of parks around it so to make sure the dogs get exercise we can either go on long walks at least twice a day or go to the nearby parks

I've also learned from them and been protected by them ... because dogs are the best species on earth. I have a soft spot for senior, special-needs, and shy dogs. I’m a fiercely protective dog mom and dog Aunty whose beloved boy Django just passed away at 15. He was my heart dog and soul dog. Still is. He was a senior, arthritic, deaf dog with other special needs and health challenges. I became an integrative wellness practitioner for dogs so that I would be educated and prepared as Django went through different life stages. Healthy, delicious dog treats are plentiful here, though we believe in keeping dogs at ideal weights for their health. We will follow your lead and instructions when it comes to your dogs. There will always be filtered water available for the pups. At our home, you'll often find relaxing music on, nice natural light, and lots of comfortable spots for dogs to make themselves at home both inside and on our Zen patio. We keep our home at a comfortable temperature for the pups with fresh air flowing in, and we have AC or heat when needed. Toys are plentiful, but we can remove them if you're concerned about antlers or if your dog might be a chewaholic. We have kongs and puzzle feeders, too. I always give dogs extra attention at first - even if that means giving them space - so that they can acclimate to the new environment. When my dog Django was alive, he'd mentor the newcomers and show them the ropes. With few exceptions, the dogs adjusted quickly and saw our place as home away from home. I'm good at reading dogs' body language and understanding them on many levels, which includes determining if two dogs might need space from each other. We're fortunate to live in a community that welcomes dogs of all sizes and breed mixes. If you have a dog who needs to be the solo dog staying with us, that can often be arranged. We always want to discuss the dogs' needs, behavior, temperament, routine, likes and dislikes beforehand so that we can do our best to ensure a good fit. We like to have clients complete a client survey and a medical emergency form just to be prepared in the event of such an emergency if clients were unreachable.

About: Dogs are an integral part of the family! Growing up, we always had at least 3 dogs. Dogs are family not animals to me. I have always taken care of my family pets as well as neighbors dogs. As a teenager, I would take care of my neighbors pitbull and cocker spaniel by feeding them and playing with them when the neighbors were at work or on vacation. I know have 2 dogs, an 10 year old husky and a 6 year old chihuahua mix. They are still very youthful and cared for greatly. They definitely do not act there age. I love taking care of dogs and making their lives as special as they make mine. I am a full time dog mom! I am going to school, but I have the luxury of being attending from home which leaves me plenty of time for loving on the puppers. I have 2 dogs that are very friendly. If needed, I can crate you furry family member. My husky has food allergies so I have experience making sure the fur baby doesn't get into anything that would make their stomachs unhappy. I am super vigilant during walks and sun bathing since both of my dogs are severely allergic to bees. If you board your pet with me, they will be treated just like family. About: I grew up with both a cat and hogan’s would love to have a pet of my own right now but just can’t afford it, so I love taking in your pets for a couple days and giving them all my love! I work primarily from home with a couple days a month in office, my boyfriend, who is also a dog and cat lover (currently has a dog at his parents house) works from home and will be able to provide all the attention and care your pets need while I am out. On weekends will do everything from hiking to going to the beach with your pets. My apartment is a pet friendly apartment, almost every person that lives there has a dog. We have our own dog park that is attached to the apartment with a fenced in area where dogs can play. No substances or small children, just my boyfriend and I in a spacious two bedroom.

About: I’ve always grown up around dogs. Growing up we had several black labs, and a golden retriever. I love animals and I have lots of experience with puppies. I’m an active person so taking your dog on a long walk is no problem for me! I’ve dog sat all kinds of dogs including a senior German shepherd for the last 8 years. I have a very flexible schedule that changes week to week. This means that when I’m watching your pet or walking your dog, my attention is able to be fully on them and I have availability throughout the week. About: I will tailor the love and care for your pet based on his or her behavior and personality. I have both a senior dog and a pup, so there’s a huge range of personalities in between both. My senior dog requires at least an hour inside then wants his own time in the yard as for the pup he requires a lot of exercise and then nap time in the couch. Let me know your fur baby ‘s personality and I’ll be sure to accommodate. At my home you have the option to be completely outside or inside, we have cement and grass and lots of fruit trees for them to smell and explore. I would prefer for your dog to be potty trained in advanced if he or she requires to be inside.

About: I have had many dogs and help take care of many dogs. I have never had a problem and dogs are always happy with me. Respectfully will only watch dogs that are friendly, loving, and not aggressive. I work full time from home so can be with your dog all day :) happy to walk them and play with them through out the day. They wouldn’t have to be locked up all day. I’ve had multiple dogs throughout life and currently have a rescue dog. She loves dogs and is very happy to make new friends. She will do great with your dog too

About: I currently have the privilege of having two senior dogs that have been in my care for 13 years. I am aware of the patience, love and commitment it takes, having and caring for a pet that solely relies on you. I am comfortable administering medications and dealing with food modifications. I have also helped foster in the past. I am home during the day, with light serving shift 3 times a week at night. Long or short walks are available, as well as playtime, boarding and overnight care. My home is your pets home! I love my neighborhood. While I do not have direct access to a back yard, I am super close to multiple dog parks and live in a very walkable neighborhood.
