“Ramisha took excellent care of my two cats while I was away. Being my first time using Rover, I was a bit anxious but she was very sweet and responsive and my cats warmed up to her very quickly! I would definitely recommend her for any pet needs and will be rebooking her for future needs. :)”

About: Hi, my name is Jenna! I have been providing paid pet sitting and dog walking services since I was about 13, caring for both dogs and cats through regular clients and referrals. My experience includes overnight stays, daily walks, drop-in visits, feeding, playtime, and administering medications for pets with extra care needs. Over the years, I have become very comfortable with a variety of temperaments, energy levels, and routines. I have a background in healthcare, which has made me especially attentive, reliable, and detail-oriented. I am comfortable following specific instructions, maintaining routines, and keeping a close eye on pets to make sure they are safe, happy, and well cared for. I recently relocated to the area and currently have a flexible schedule, which allows me to be dependable and available for walks, drop-ins, and overnight care. I genuinely enjoy getting to know each pet’s personality and treat every animal as if they were my own. I look forward to meeting you and your loved one(s) with paws! I have a flexible schedule while taking prerequisite courses for nursing school, allowing me to provide consistent, reliable pet care. I am very attentive to safety, whether that’s securing doors and gates, using leashes properly, or monitoring behavior during walks and interactions. I also make sure your home is treated with respect and left exactly as I found it. I provide regular updates and photos so you can feel confident and at ease while you’re away, knowing your pet is safe, happy, and well cared for.
“Once again, Viktorija was the best! And I knew my cat was in safe hands. Viktorija sends the best updated pics of my cat and I know I don’t have to worry with her as my Rover sitter. 13/10 - also, I can’t give more than a 30% tip!? What’s up with that!?”

“As aways, Madelyn was great. She was super accommodating when my plans changed like 3 times unexpectedly. I appreciate her being able to work with me. Also, my cat really likes her!”

“She is the best rover we’ve ever had. Extremely communicative, can problem solve, and genuinely seems to enjoy spending time with the animals. Highly recommend!!”

“Christine was so amazing with our cat Nova! She played with her, fed her, and made sure her water and litter box was taken care of. She even supported with clean up after Nova threw up a little bit from eating too quickly. Nova is usually a little feisty but by the end she warmed up to Christine. Additionally, Christine scheduled a meet & greet with Nova prior to us leaving for the weekend- which was so appreciated as we were able to meet her, let our cat meet her, and provide instructions and directions in person. She is clearly knowledgeable about animals and went above and beyond to ensure Nova was well taken care of. She sent pictures and a little summary after each visit. She was kind, caring, and friendly & we definitely will have her take care of Nova again in the future. Would definitely recommend Christine!”

About: Hi, I’m Amanda and have had dogs since I was a teenager. I helped care at end of life and the experience taught me how to deal with health complications. I also fostered a rescue dog with severe anxiety. I learned how to train and manage anxiety and helping them feel more comfortable. I’m a Navy Veteran with emergency medicine training and a full time student so I’m reliable and confident in stressful situations. I love playtime, training, and cuddling. I hope to make pets feel comfortable and happy. I’m currently free most days of the week this summer because I’m not in school for the summer. I am flexible and can do weekends as well. I have no pets currently and have an apartment. I prefer to go to clients homes only because I don’t have a yard but I can take them to potty outside. I also live alone with no roommates or no children around.

“Absolutely amazing! Monica’s incredibly responsible and responsive care let us enjoy our time away without worrying about our surly old cat! She clearly loves animals and took the time to connect with our kitty who really doesn’t like most people! Her check-in reports were thorough and let us know that Iris was in the best of hands!! Highly recommend!!!”

“Sarah was absolutely wonderful with our cat, Dexter! She was very attentive, kept us updated with amazing videos, and made sure Dexter had plenty of playtime and attention. It was clear she genuinely cared about him, and that gave us so much peace of mind while we were away. We will definitely be booking with her again in the future!”

“Alexandra watched my dog Korra and did an absolutely outstanding job. From the moment they met, Alexandra’s professionalism and genuine compassion for animals were so easy to see. Korra is a rescue with anxiety, and being away from home — especially during work trips — can be really stressful for her. Alexandra handled this with incredible patience, taking the time to read Korra’s behavioral cues and adjust her approach accordingly. She truly went above and beyond to make sure Korra felt safe and comfortable. I couldn’t recommend her more highly and will absolutely be booking again.”

“Marie is one of those people who just makes life better for others. She takes great care of my senior dog and needy cat, and brings us all treats regularly. Knowing my critters are in her care makes working and relaxing that much more to your life.”

“Crystal is great with our puppy! She communicates with us about wheee we are in his training and offers to practice while they are out on walks. She always keeps us updated and is very reliable. Highly recommend!”

“Darya was wonderful! She responded right away and was able to come every day to check on, feed, and scoop the litterbox for my elderly Siamese cat. She sent adorable pictures and a daily status report. She is worth every penny for the peace of mind that allows you to enjoy your vacation instead of feeling guilty about leaving your angel on their own.”

About: Hi, I’m Ken 👋 I bring years of hands-on experience working with dogs of all temperaments, from playful pups to anxious and senior dogs who need a little extra patience. I’m a PAWS of Coronado Volunteer Behavior Training Level 1 graduate, and I’ve spent years volunteering in shelter environments where safety, calm handling, and compassion truly matter. I’ve also worked alongside canine police officers in training scenarios, giving me a strong foundation in reading dog behavior, maintaining control, and building trust through calm, consistent energy. Dogs tend to respond quickly to me — and both dogs and kids seem to sense that steady, grounded disposition. Every walk is about more than exercise. It’s about trust, structure, and care. I treat every dog as if they were my own and every client with the respect and reliability I’d expect for my own family. I maintain a structured weekly schedule so I can be dependable and fully present for each pet: • Mondays: Early mornings available (6:00–9:00 AM) Afternoon & evening available (2:30–10:00 PM) • Tuesdays: Available after 3:00 PM • Wednesdays: Available after 10:00 AM • Thursdays: Open availability • Fridays: Available after 4:00 PM • Weekends: Flexible availability I only accept bookings I can fully commit to, ensuring every walk or visit is calm, safe, and unhurried. How I Care for Pets Whether I’m caring for pets in my client’s home or during walks and drop-in visits, my approach is centered on safety, structure, and trust. I take time to understand each dog’s routine, temperament, and any training cues or boundaries already in place. I follow the owner’s instructions closely and keep things consistent, because dogs thrive on routine and calm leadership. I’m trained in reading body language and stress signals, which helps me adjust in real time and keep pets comfortable and secure. In a client’s home, I’m respectful, organized, and low-impact. I leave the space as I found it and provide updates so owners feel informed and at ease. During walks, I prioritize safe leash handling, situational awareness, and positive reinforcement. I don’t rush walks — I allow time for exercise, enrichment, and mental stimulation. Above all, I treat every pet as an individual. Some dogs want adventure, others need reassurance. My goal is always the same: a calm, safe, and positive experience for both the pet and their owner.
East Village pet parents share their Rover experiences
Jazmin has been great to our 🍊s. Every visit has an update about our cats and what has been done during the visit. The pictures included gave us peace of mind as well that the cats are doing well. Most importantly, I highly recommend Jazmin because not only did she took great care of our cats, she had shown care for our home as well. Highly highly recommend and will book in the future!

Highly recommend! Carrie went above and beyond to make sure our pup was taken care of and sent thoughtful updates throughout. Her level of care gave us peace of mind while we were out of town. We will definitely be requesting Carrie when in need of pet care in the future.

Samantha is incredible and has become one of our go-to catsitters whenever we need to leave for a trip. Our cat clearly trusts and appreciates Samantha, and we consistently feel so reassured that our lil girl has a loving, reliable friend who can look after her! :)
