About: I’ve have always grown up with pets, making me develop an extreme love for animals. I’ve had 2 dogs, and a cat who eventually has 7 kittens when I was 10 years old. Me and my family took care of them for 8 weeks until they could go to new homes! My love for animals has only strengthened, and after my childhood dog had passed, I wanted to take the love I had and still have for him, and share it with others by helping them take care of their pets. I knew the anxiety of trying to find the right person to care for your pet, and I want to ensure that I will give your pet so much love and care as if they were my own. I have a certificate in Cat and Dog First Aid conducted by American Red Cross so do not worry, your pet is in safe hands! I’m also very flexible for all types of energies your pet may have, I’m happy to chill out or run around and play some tug of war! I am currently a part time student at San Diego Mesa College, so I will have more than enough time to care for your dogs and cats! I’m always happy to get out of the house, especially if I get to meet more furry friends! My house is fully enclosed, with a fenced front yard and backyard. Almost all windows have screens, and I currently have one cat who is very independent and will be no trouble for your pet!
“Theresa was fantastic. She worked well with my elderly mother. We could not of done it without her. Theresa administered oral liquid medications and a shot to her cat. Thank you for your service!”
“Kirra did a great job watching my cat! She was extremely flexible when I accidentally booked her for the wrong day and was able to come when I needed her anyway. I came home to a happy healthy cat and clean house. 5 out of 5 ⭐️”
“Heather was a fantastic sitter for our two cats! She stopped by around the same time every other day while we were gone and provided needed attention for our young kitten! She cleaned the litter and even helped pickup after the cats! Would definitely recommend for your pet sitting needs and will book again in the future!”

About: Dog dad who spent 11 amazing years with my sweet Pitty, Zuri. I also helped raise four puppies and have many friends whose dogs and cats I consider family. I understand that every pet has their own unique personality, routine, and needs. I'll take the time to get to know your fur baby and work with you to make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you're away. I'm experienced caring for pets of all ages, including seniors, puppies and kittens, pets with special dietary or medical needs, and those with unique personalities or behavioral challenges, including reactive or aggressive pets. Your pet's happiness and well-being are my top priorities. I know firsthand how much our pets miss us when we're away, and I always wanted Zuri to receive the same love, patience, and attention that I gave her at home and is exactly the kind of care I'll provide for your loved ones. *Heartbreakingly, Zuri passed away over two years ago, so there won't be any other pets with me while I care for yours. Taking on new clients to fill my schedule. Currently have no schedule restrictions besides the beginning of September and the last week of September/week of October. I will treat your loved one as if they were my own by making sure they're always safe and happy. I know what it was like to be away from a pup and understand the stress their under while their person is away and is why it's so important to me that you and they are satisfied with the care I provide.
“Elise was so great, we had her back again! She took care of our two kitties and was prompt and communicative, even cleaning up a little mess that they made. Thanks for taking care of our little ones!”

About: I'm a total dog person! No matter the breed, I'm sure to love and adore every dog I meet. I've been around dogs my entire life and am well-versed in the unique personalities and quirks that come with different breeds. Growing up, friends and family regularly relied on me to care for their pets while they were away, which gave me experience with dogs of all ages, sizes, and temperaments. In San Diego, I’ve been walking dogs for the last 5 years. Some of the breeds I have extensive experience with include English Bulldogs, Golden Retrievers, Labrador Retrievers, Bernese Mountain Dogs, and Pugs. I also have an English Bulldog of my own, so I'm very familiar with the special care brachycephalic (smushed-face) breeds require, including their sensitivity to heat and exercise. I currently work from home 4.5 days a week (Tuesday mornings I am in office), so have a fairly flexible schedule when it comes to tending to your pets needs🙂 My English Bulldog is a total couch potato! He's spent a lot of time around other dogs and loves having a companion to hang out and relax with when we host. We live in a spacious two-story, two-bedroom ADU with a private, fenced yard that gives dogs plenty of room to run and play. Our home is located in a safe, quiet neighborhood in Point Loma. Out of respect for our neighbors and to ensure a calm environment for all of our guests, we do not accept dogs with barking habits.
“Audrey was amazing! She was so kind to our pup, took great care of him, and was highly communicative with us. You can tell that Audrey loves dogs and it shows in her level of care!”

About: I've been caring for dogs since I was a child, and I truly treat every animal like they're part of the family. What sets me apart is my attention to each pet's unique personality and needs-whether that means slow walks for seniors or playtime for energetic pups. Friends, family, and neighbors have always relied on me to help with their animals and I'm always happy to give all the love to these amazing creatures we are lucky to have in our lives. I'm lucky to make my own schedule and work from home most days, so I have ample availability. Week days and weekends. Most mornings and afternoons in addition to some evenings. I have a house with a fenced yard and one 20lb terrier mix to keep your fur baby company. I can also curate to your needs if that means crating your dog. We are very much dogs on the couch and bed type of house but will follow your rules too.
“This was my first time using the app, so I was nervous. But I appreciate how he kept updating me on how my dog was doing! Def made it easier for me to be gone all day :)”

About: Hi, I’m Micki (Marian is my legal name)! My husband and I own a dog-friendly home in OB with a secure yard. We have 2 gentle, dog-savvy kids, ages 5 and 6. I work from home, and someone is almost always around. We’ve had dogs most of our lives, have fostered several, and have 4+ years of experience house sitting through another platform. Reviews from the other platform are in my photos. We currently don’t have pets and host only one household at a time. We love dogs of all kinds and will treat yours like part of the family—whether they need long walks, medication, special care or diet, or just lots of love and attention! **I do not require meet and greets, but happy to do meet and greets either in person or over video. We’ve cared for high-energy dogs, reactive dogs, puppies, seniors, dogs with medical needs, and newly rescued pups. Having completed a dog training program through Noble Dogs, I’d be glad to help reinforce training while your pup is with us. You can expect clear communication and lots of photo updates while your pup is with us. Discounts available for longer stays or multiple dogs from the same household. I work from home full-time with a flexible schedule, so I’m available for multiple walks a day and plenty of one-on-one time with your pup. My husband commutes to Mira Mesa and usually handles morning drop-off at our kids’ school just a few blocks away, while I do afternoon pickup around 5 p.m. I can often accommodate last-minute bookings and am happy to help with transportation if needed. My husband and I own a home in OB with a securely fenced yard, a dog door, and a fully dog-proofed space. We don’t use pesticides or keep any toxic plants, and our kids (ages 5 and 6) are well-trained in keeping gates and doors closed to keep pets safe. Dogs are never left unattended outside, and we secure the dog door whenever we’re not home. Inside, your dog will have free run of the house. They’re welcome to sleep in a crate (we have a large one available), in the living room, our bedroom, or on a dog bed - whatever matches your routine. For those with multiple pets, we can easily separate them at mealtimes or as needed for comfort and safety. We have easy street parking and can offer our driveway for drop-off and pickup if needed. For house sitting, I’ll follow your pet’s routine closely and leave your home exactly as I found it—clean and cared for. Depending on the length of the stay, I may need to bring the kids along, so please keep that in mind if requesting house sitting services.
About: I grew up with dogs, I currently dog sit for 5 people on my own, and I've lived on and off with dogs for years. I feel a connection with most dogs. I've heard from several people in my life some form of "oh, (s)he usually isn't that comfortable with new people." which is always great to hear. I have also had (a small amount of) professional training with dogs: disciplinary and reading body language. I only don't currently have my own pups because my lifestyle is such that it would not be ideal for them. Caring for others dogs is a great way to have pups in my life. I have a random schedule as I have a couple of gig-based jobs so fitting in some pup playtime should be pretty easy. I look forward to caring for yours! I'm not really sure how to answer "how I care for pets." Usually I'm following instructions left by the pet's human... some kind of food/walking schedule. Otherwise I'll take them to a dog park if they play well or hang out with them in an environment where we can play with their toys, etc. Having a few treats in the pocket doesn't hurt.
About: Hello! First and foremost, I’d like to establish that your pets safety and comfortability are my top priorities! 🙂 I have taken care of dogs of all sizes as well as cats since the age of 8. I have been a very reliable pet sitter for neighbors, family, and friends over the years, and am growing lovely, long lasting relationships through Rover! I work from home full time, so I am available 7 days a week for boarding services for multiple nights in a row or weeks if need be! I am available to takes pets out for potty breaks as often as they need since I have a fenced in yard. I also live just a couple of blocks from the dog beach, so I would also be able to take pups on walks in the morning before it gets too hot, or in the evening closer to sun down. I have a fenced in yard that is fairly spacious for pups to use the restroom, roll around in the grass, or sun bathe! I have one small, friendly dog who keeps to himself for the most part, but also likes to run around on the beach and interact with other dogs. I can crate your pup(s) if needed, or let them roam around the home. I am very diligent with schedules and routines for each pet, I will be able to adhere to any bathroom, feeding, etc. to help make them comfortable in the space they are in.
“Super easy to book with and showed up promptly and took the best pics. Thanks for the last minute drop in and communication. Definitely recommend hiring her to care for your fur babies.”
About: Hello!! I’ve had doggies and kitties since I was a kid! So I have experience with puppies to senior dogs :) Most recently I got a golden retriever puppy in November 2025 and she’s my whole world! I’m an ER Nurse so my schedule does rotate but on my days off Ophelia and I spend it walking around OB and sunset cliffs while fitting in playtime with toys and cuddles. So my schedule is somewhat flexible to help out! Just send me a request and if I’m free I’d love to help you:) I currently live in an apartment in a very walkable neighborhood! So even though I don’t have a yard I get outside frequently by either taking Ophelia on multiple walks and sometimes down to the beach to play! I am able to do anything you need that is safest for your pet! I’m available to have your pet in my home for daycare/overnights or if you prefer in your home as long as you don’t mind your pet playing with my Ophelia!
About: I'm an animal lover who enjoys caring for and getting to know all types of pets. I love to play and I'm also comfortable with Seniors and administering medication. I love to keep them all safe and happy! I work two late-night shifts at a local cafe and besides that I do Child and Pet Care. This keeps my schedule pretty flexible but I am open to setting up regular times too. I just treat every pet as if they were my own companion. Different animals need different care and I respect and honor that. I look forward to getting to know your little individual!
About: I have owned dogs throughout my entire life, most of them being pretty high maintenance as far as needing excessive amounts of care, love medication’s and extra attention! Just communicate whatever your pet needs and prefers to be happy and I’d love to ensure that’s what they receive:) I’m currently in grad school, which is thankfully online so I have plenty of free time to assist you with ensuring your pet is fed, watered, walked and happy! Whenever caring for a pet and a clients home, I like to keep it simple and simply refer to any of the detailed instructions that they provide to ensure that their pet is kept safe, happy and healthy throughout the time that I’m looking after them! It is my utmost responsibility to ensure your pets well-being !

Elise is such a sweet and reliable support for pets! I felt so comfortable knowing that my cat was safe and loved while I was away. I got many pictures and videos, and was amazed how fast my cat warmed up to Elise! Elise is a true animal lover and I cannot recommend her enough.
My dog loves Alyssa! She had no problem handling my 65lb bully mix. She was able to navigate a stressful situation with my dog and handled everything as best she could given the circumstances and was in communication with me the whole time. So happy to have found a sitter I can trust!

Audrey was amazing!! It was my first time using Rover so wasn't sure what to expect, but Audrey was awesome. She came over so I could explain everything, made me feel so comfortable and provided ample updates, communication and pictures :). Would 10/10 recommend

I recommend Rachel to anyone in need of a dog sitter! Rachel follows all instructions perfectly, is so great with my Daisy, shares great updates and photos, and is very communicative. I appreciated how thorough she was getting our information (vets, routines, allergies) which is a nod to her experience and added to my trust in her service. I’ve now booked with her around 10 times and have complete confidence trusting her with my baby :) Daisy is 9 with both IVDD & IBD. We’ve had almost exclusively negative experiences with dog sitters in the past, so I have been very apprehensive about finding a sitter. Once I saw Rachel had amazing reviews, I took a leap of faith and am so glad I did! I can finally leave my house for longer than a few hours with total peace of mind :)

Audrey was wonderful! She always was very communicative and extremely conscientious of our pets needs as well as taking care of our home while we were away, even offering to water our plants and clean up around the litter boxes. Definitely would recommend and re-book!

Catherine was so nice and easy to communicate with! She made it feel easy to trust her and I booked her last minute cause I had a change of plans. She was understanding, and I knew I could rely on her, she sent tons of cute pics and kept it simple and easy. I didn’t worry one bit!

Elif is the best! This was the second time we’ve had her check in on our two cats and this was not the last time. She’s a delight, very communicative, and trustworthy. Before we left on our trip, she had a last minute commitment out of town but came to us with the option of a solution already. I really appreciated her finding a solution because she could have also just canceled. She takes her duty seriously and we appreciate her so much!
Tina was WONDERFUL! She was incredibly communicative and sent lots of photos, which gave us so much peace of mind while we were away. When our cat got sick, Tina came early the next morning to check on him, make sure he was okay, and kept us updated even more than usual. We were so grateful for her care, responsiveness, and attention during a stressful situation. I’m so glad we booked with Tina and would absolutely book with her again in a heartbeat!
