About: Hi, I’m Micki (Marian is my legal name)! My husband and I own a dog-friendly home in OB with a secure yard. We have 2 gentle, dog-savvy kids, ages 5 and 6. I work from home, and someone is almost always around. We’ve had dogs most of our lives, have fostered several, and have 4+ years of experience house sitting through another platform. Reviews from the other platform are in my photos. We currently don’t have pets and host only one household at a time. We love dogs of all kinds and will treat yours like part of the family—whether they need long walks, medication, special care or diet, or just lots of love and attention! **I do not require meet and greets, but happy to do meet and greets either in person or over video. We’ve cared for high-energy dogs, reactive dogs, puppies, seniors, dogs with medical needs, and newly rescued pups. Having completed a dog training program through Noble Dogs, I’d be glad to help reinforce training while your pup is with us. You can expect clear communication and lots of photo updates while your pup is with us. Discounts available for longer stays or multiple dogs from the same household. I work from home full-time with a flexible schedule, so I’m available for multiple walks a day and plenty of one-on-one time with your pup. My husband commutes to Mira Mesa and usually handles morning drop-off at our kids’ school just a few blocks away, while I do afternoon pickup around 5 p.m. I can often accommodate last-minute bookings and am happy to help with transportation if needed. My husband and I own a home in OB with a securely fenced yard, a dog door, and a fully dog-proofed space. We don’t use pesticides or keep any toxic plants, and our kids (ages 5 and 6) are well-trained in keeping gates and doors closed to keep pets safe. Dogs are never left unattended outside, and we secure the dog door whenever we’re not home. Inside, your dog will have free run of the house. They’re welcome to sleep in a crate (we have a large one available), in the living room, our bedroom, or on a dog bed - whatever matches your routine. For those with multiple pets, we can easily separate them at mealtimes or as needed for comfort and safety. We have easy street parking and can offer our driveway for drop-off and pickup if needed. For house sitting, I’ll follow your pet’s routine closely and leave your home exactly as I found it—clean and cared for. Depending on the length of the stay, I may need to bring the kids along, so please keep that in mind if requesting house sitting services.

“Heather went above and beyond for our cat and dog. She gives the best updates and takes the best photos! Having just moved to Point Loma we were on the hunt for someone who was in the area and who we felt comfortable with in our home and around our pets. Our pets immediately took a liking to her and she gave them the play time and care they deserved. We look forward to having Heather watch our pets again in the future!”

About: I love animals. I have had a cat for the past 8 years and I also used to volunteer as a dog walker at the local shelter. The only reason I don’t have a dog of my own, is the amount of travel I have to do with my “day job”. With my job, when I am home, I am totally free. When I’m at work, I’m out of town. My schedule changes monthly. If my schedule is open, I can pretty much help out at any time. Lots of exercise, snuggles, and attention. I occasionally have had to give my cat meds, which I can do if necessary for your pet too. I love to go on walks, so that would be involved too, if you so desire.

“Edgardo has been excellent for the past three drop-in visits. Updates with pictures and follows instruction for the visits. I highly recommend Edgardo for any of your pet needs!!”

“My previous cat sitter has left for college. I was very nervous about allowing someone new to come to my home and take care of my boy. Rachel was great! Great communication, attentive to my kitty and I felt very comfortable with her after our meet and greet. I will definitely will be contacting Rachel again for future visits.”

About: I grew up with two big dogs and three cats, and I volunteer for Kane’s K9 Rescue! My travel schedule keeps me from having a pet of my own right now, but I love big dogs and i’m in the perfect spot. I can provide walks, drop-ins, and pet sitting, + i’m close to dog beach and dog park. I work full-time from home and have a fairly flexible schedule with proper planning. Snoozy dogs are welcome to WFH with me (i lead a lot of meetings so big barkers are not ideal). I’m usually busy on the weekends except for some occasions, and i’m much freer in the afternoons vs. the mornings! I have no pets of my own, and I’m just a few blocks from Dog Beach & Dusty Rhodes Park for social pups. My home has an enclosed patio space (no grass) where pets can relax or sunbathe outside. And because I’m a sucker they’re welcome to lounge on my couch if hygiene permits!

“My cat, Zoe Monster, was so well taken care of! It’s clear that Erin truly loves animals and goes the extra mile to make them feel comfortable and loved. I appreciated the updates and attention to detail—Zoe was happy and relaxed when I got back. Highly recommend!”

About: I’ve always loved animals my entire life, especially dogs! I’ve owned 3 dogs in my lifetime since the time I was 8 and even have experience raising and training a puppy, might I add, a pit bull puppy! I love all types of dogs but pit bulls are my favorite :) Now, I own a cat named Ghost and I love him so much :) he is the first cat I’ve ever owned but he is the best! I also have experience pet sitting for my friends since I work from home and have time to care for them when they are gone at work. I can feed them, give them baths, take them for walks, or to the dog park. And my building is pet friendly! I currently work from home and am home Monday through Friday throughout the week so I have all the time in the world to care for a pet! I am not currently accepting dog boarding or day car at this time because dogs are not allowed at my building, however, I have a lot of experience with dog walking and caring for dogs in their own home!

“Bria was wonderful with diego. She was timely, professional and took the time to pamper our pup, while meeting all of his needs. She was also great with communication. And Diego loved her! Will be booking again! :)”

About: I have extensive experience in caring for a variety of pets, from energetic puppies to senior dogs that require special attention. My approach is rooted in patience, understanding, and building trust with the animals I care for. I provide daily walks, playtime, and ensure pets are comfortable in their environment. I’m also familiar with administering medication and managing dietary restrictions for pets with special needs. What sets me apart is my passion for making pets feel at ease while their owners are away. I am particularly skilled at puppy training, helping them develop good habits early on, and I also specialize in senior dog care, offering gentle and tailored approaches to keep them active and comfortable. I am flexible and available around the clock to accommodate your pet’s needs. Whether it's early morning walks, mid-day playtime, or late-night feedings, I work with your schedule to ensure that your pet gets the attention they need at any time of day. While I do have other commitments, pet care is always my top priority, and I’m happy to adjust to the specific routine that works best for your pet. When caring for pets in my own home or your home, safety and trust are my top priorities. I ensure that pets are kept in a secure environment, whether it’s a cozy, pet-proofed space in my home or an area in yours where they feel comfortable and safe. I follow any specific routines or rules set by pet owners, including feeding times, exercise needs, and any house rules. In my own home, I make sure that there are no hazards that could harm the pets, such as exposed cords or dangerous plants. I also provide plenty of toys, comfy spots to rest, and access to fresh water throughout the day. When staying in your home, I take extra care to maintain your pet's routine and environment, ensuring that they have a sense of normalcy and security while you're away.

“Susan is the best! My pup recently had a surgery, and while he is mostly recovered I was still nervous to leave him home alone while my partner and I were at work all night. I felt so much better getting the picture update and knowing he had a friend visit him and give him love! I have and will continue to rebook with Susan since she is responsive, kind, and responsible!”

About: I’ve taken care of dogs of all breeds and sizes since I was 10 years old. Neighbors, friends, and family have always trusted me to walk, feed, bathe, and love their pets like they’re my own. I’m comfortable with high-energy pups, senior dogs who need a gentler touch, dogs with cancer and everything in between. I also have experience administering medication, following special diets, cooking healthy balanced healing meals, and keeping pets calm in new environments. My goal is always to make sure your pet feels safe, loved, and well cared for. I work from home and have a very flexible schedule, which means I’m available throughout the day to give your pets the attention and care they need. Whether it’s a mid-morning walk, afternoon playtime, or evening cuddles, I can easily adjust to your pet’s routine. I’m also available on weekends and for last-minute bookings! I treat every pet like they’re my own, ensuring a loving, safe, and calm environment whether I’m caring for them in my home or yours. I closely follow feeding instructions, maintain clean spaces, and keep a consistent routine to help pets feel comfortable and secure. I always prioritize safety, on walks I ensure secure leashes/harnesses, and in the home I make sure hazards are out of reach. I aim to build trust with both pets and their owners by being reliable, communicative, and attentive to every detail.

About: I’ve taken care of dogs from puppy to senior age since a young age and as a volunteer with Second Chance Dog Rescue. I’ve lived with cats and dogs for many years in the past being their caretaker. Most recently, I’ve fostered dogs and cats from 0 months-senior with the San Diego Humane Society. I’m comfortable with my skill set and physical strength when walking large dogs that are not friendly with other animals, knowing how to walk them to avoid interactions with other animals if necessary. I currently work freelance from home so my schedule is super flexible, allowing me plenty of time to keep your furry friend happy and healthy! I’m available during the weekdays to visit them and can board them Monday-Thursday nights. I have a small enclosed yard to give your fur baby off leash outside time as well as a spacious apartment they will get all to themselves with no other pets. I live walking distance to the beach and a park if you have interest in them getting nature time! I work from home, so I can easily adapt to different eating/potty schedule needs.

“Emma took exceptional care of my pups. She paid attention to every detail and made sure they were happy and comfortable. She was always on time for the drop ins (even early!) and made sure that everyone was well taken care of. Will definitely use her services again in the future! Thank you so much Emma!”

About: I have pet-sat in general for about 5 years. That time is shared between dg and cat-sitting. I have worked with daily schedules as well as one-off pet-care services. Although I have large and XL dogs marked off, I am still open to it, I would just need to know their energy levels to accommodate them properly. I can also work with more than one animal at a time and am open to child-care or any other animal-care/ household management services you may be in need of! I also have a fur baby of my own back home and know how important it is to find someone you trust fully with your pet and how hard it can be to hand over the reins to someone else, even for a short period of time! I am open to house-stays if that puts your mind at ease, and we can alter the services the longer we work together for what works best for you and your furry friend ! My schedule varies week-to-week as I work in coffee and as a hostess. But I am willing to coordinate break times and free time to be available for your fur baby! I am open to taking stops in the morning and afternoon to let your pet out or staying in the home with your pet! I do have a pet of my own, however, she is with my grandmother back home until I get more settled into life here!

About: I’ve always been an animal lover and have been a go-to for family and friends who need an experienced and trustworthy pet /house sitter. I work from home and get to spoil my pup with walks every few hours, tons of cuddle and play time, and love to provide a happy home for doggos who need it when away from their “pack”. I also have some training experience from a professional dog trainer! ☺️ I grew up with pets my whole life and safety is a high priority for me. I take precautions to make sure dogs are safe at all times because I know I would want the same for my own pup! ☺️ I work full-time but since I work remotely, I have the flexibility to spend time taking care of furry loved ones. I can do some weekdays and have more availability on weekends. I have an apartment in a safe community close to the beach where I can take dogs for walks. I have a small outdoor space and a poodle mix who loves to play with others. ❤️
