About: I'm a dog lover with lots of love to give—your pup's new favorite walking buddy, ready for adventures! I have been dog walking and dog sitting for friends for over 20 years. I love long walks and would enjoy company. I'm in OB so close to dog beach if desired and approved by you. I'd love to meet your pup and gain a new furry friend! I'm currently unemployed so lots of availability. I am very flexible and willing and able to meet your needs. I can pick up and drop off, spend the day at my place with your pup(s), drop by your place for walks, spend time at your place to keep them company or whatever else you desire. I am ready to make new furry friends! I live in a large one bedroom apartment. I can walk multiple times per day, go to dog beach or the dog park or happy to head to your place. I have no pets so your best friend will get all the attention!

About: I'm a total dog person! No matter the breed, I'm sure to love and adore every dog I meet. I've been around dogs my entire life and am well-versed in the unique personalities and quirks that come with different breeds. Growing up, friends and family regularly relied on me to care for their pets while they were away, which gave me experience with dogs of all ages, sizes, and temperaments. In San Diego, I’ve been walking dogs for the last 5 years. Some of the breeds I have extensive experience with include English Bulldogs, Golden Retrievers, Labrador Retrievers, Bernese Mountain Dogs, and Pugs. I also have an English Bulldog of my own, so I'm very familiar with the special care brachycephalic (smushed-face) breeds require, including their sensitivity to heat and exercise. I currently work from home 4.5 days a week (Tuesday mornings I am in office), so have a fairly flexible schedule when it comes to tending to your pets needs🙂 My English Bulldog is a total couch potato! He's spent a lot of time around other dogs and loves having a companion to hang out and relax with when we host. We live in a spacious two-story, two-bedroom ADU with a private, fenced yard that gives dogs plenty of room to run and play. Our home is located in a safe, quiet neighborhood in Point Loma. Out of respect for our neighbors and to ensure a calm environment for all of our guests, we do not accept dogs with barking habits.

About: Have spend the entire 32 years of my life in a dog household, I have a tremendous love and admiration for dogs. Dogs are as much a part of our family as our human family members. I work from home and set my own hours, so my dog typically gets 2-3 walks a day and has all day access to our yard for potty breaks and sun baths. I have a private fenced yard that my dog loves to lay out in all day. My home is entirely pet friendly and pet proof.

About: I’ve have always grown up with pets, making me develop an extreme love for animals. I’ve had 2 dogs, and a cat who eventually has 7 kittens when I was 10 years old. Me and my family took care of them for 8 weeks until they could go to new homes! My love for animals has only strengthened, and after my childhood dog had passed, I wanted to take the love I had and still have for him, and share it with others by helping them take care of their pets. I knew the anxiety of trying to find the right person to care for your pet, and I want to ensure that I will give your pet so much love and care as if they were my own. I have a certificate in Cat and Dog First Aid conducted by American Red Cross so do not worry, your pet is in safe hands! I’m also very flexible for all types of energies your pet may have, I’m happy to chill out or run around and play some tug of war! I am currently a part time student at San Diego Mesa College, so I will have more than enough time to care for your dogs and cats! I’m always happy to get out of the house, especially if I get to meet more furry friends! My house is fully enclosed, with a fenced front yard and backyard. Almost all windows have screens, and I currently have one cat who is very independent and will be no trouble for your pet!

I know how important it is to keep pets on their normal routine, and I follow each owner’s instructions for feeding, walks, and bedtime closely. I run my own small business and work a few days a week, so dogs who stay with me should be comfortable relaxing at home for part of the day. Before I leave, your pup will always get a walk, a potty break, and fresh water, and I spend mornings, evenings, and my days off giving them plenty of one-on-one time. I’m reliable, I respond quickly, and I send photos and updates throughout every stay. I’d love to meet you and your dog! I’m always happy to set up a meet and greet before booking so everyone feels comfortable. I run my own business, so I set my own hours and have flexible availability throughout the week and on weekends. I work a few days a week, and I plan my pet care around that so every visit gets my full attention. Depending on your location, I can stop by multiple times a day if your pet needs it. For dogs staying with me, my home is clean, calm, and pet-friendly, and I always supervise new dogs closely until they’re settled in. For cats, I come to your home for drop-in visits or overnight stays, since cats feel safest in their own space. I always lock up, follow your house rules, and keep your pet’s routine as close to normal as possible. Drop-ins are my preferred service, and I’m available for longer stays occasionally.

About: Hi there. I’ve been around dogs all my life (growing up with 2 Golden Retrievers) and am currently a dog parent to two pups. I'm also now a Certified Dog Trainer at Petco, working there part-time on the weekends with dogs of all ages and sizes. Now that I work from home for my regular job during the week, I have limited restrictions providing walks and drop-ins. I’ve been using Rover myself for years, and understand the importance of sending updates and pictures so that you know your pup is being taken care of! One of my pups is now a Senior dog with some medical issues, so I’m familiar with providing medication if needed, as well. If we’re dog-sitting, Monkey and Callie are super sweet and well-behaved. I always find it a good idea to introduce the pets first, just to make sure they get along. Since I’m working from home, there are no real limitations unless I’m out of town. I’m able to do walks and drop-in visits throughout the day.

About: I grew up with dogs and have always had a natural connection with them. Over the years, I’ve helped dogs with training, exposure to new experiences, socialization, confidence building, and learning how to interact appropriately with people and other animals. I currently have two 8-month-old best friends at home in Ocean Beach: Disco, my friendly, playful puppy, and Allie, my confident and curious kitten. Both are young, social, and well-behaved. With your permission, I’d be happy to bring either along if you’d like your pup to get some supervised socialization. Disco loves meeting and playing with everyone, while Allie usually prefers observing the action from somewhere up high! I pay close attention to each dog’s personality, body language, comfort level, and individual needs. I’m happy to reinforce existing training or work on leash manners, recall, impulse control, socialization, confidence, and basic obedience while they’re in my care. Most importantly, I want to provide an affordable, dependable service for our local dog community so that great walks, enrichment, socialization, and attentive care are accessible to dogs who might otherwise not get enough of them. Pet care is already a big part of my daily routine with my 9-month-old puppy, Disco. Our days are built around regular walks, exercise, training, play, socialization, and downtime, so adding another pup to our adventures fits naturally into my schedule. I’m home and available throughout much of the day and can easily accommodate walks, drop-ins, house sitting, training sessions, baths, or longer outings. If your dog enjoys company, they’re also welcome to join Disco for walks, playtime, training, or adventures around Ocean Beach! I care for every pet according to their individual personality, routine, training, and comfort level. I’ll follow your house rules and preferred commands, reinforce good habits, and give them plenty of exercise, enrichment, play, and attention. Safety and trust come first, especially when introducing dogs to new environments or animals. I pay close attention to body language and temperament and never force an interaction. If you’re interested in socialization, I can also bring Disco or Allie along for a carefully supervised introduction. Otherwise, they’ll stay home and your pet will have my full attention.

About: There has hardly been a day of my life where I haven’t been surrounded by animals. I have years of experience working with all ages of pets—from potty training new puppies to taking care of senior dogs, I can do it. I work as a freelance graphic designer, so my schedule is flexible enough to go and pick up petsitting gigs like this. Not to mention that I just love animals so I’d find any reason to bail on whatever I’m doing to go see your pet. I can swing by any day of the week to help out! Details are very important to me when it comes to taking care of others’ pets, especially when it’s in their own home.
