About: Hi, I’m Quin! With 16 years of pet care experience, I’ve had the pleasure of growing up with a variety of breeds—Great Danes, German Shepherds, Dalmatians, and many more. Currently, my wife and I are raising a playful Border Collie puppy named Rue, so I know firsthand the energy and care puppies need! I specialize in dog-responsive training, ensuring your pet gets personalized attention and plenty of tail-wagging fun. Whether it’s teaching new tricks or simply enjoying playtime, I’m here to give your furry friend the best care possible while you're away! I’m currently working a flexible job. I usually work from 9am to 12pm however, hours can be changed if necessary. When I’m away working, my wife works remotely at our home. I have a 10-month border collie puppy. I am very central to San Diego with plenty of walking paths/dog parks/dog beaches. I am able to crate your dog if needed!

About: Hello! I am Becky and for my entire life I have loved all animals, but especially dogs and kitties. :) I am a dog groomer and graduated from the San Diego Dog Grooming Academy, and have been working as a mobile groomer for a year, so I have a lot of experience with all types of dogs with many different personalities. I want to expand my knowledge of pet care and meet new furry friends! I have decided to dedicate part of my life to taking care of animals and as such, I promise to always make sure your babies are as well taken care of as I take care of mine. Also, I am certified in pet CPR and pet first aid! Thank you for your consideration! Hope to meet you and your babies soon! I'm currently working on building a client base for my pet grooming business so I am open for a few hours in the morning and evening during the week, and even have some time in the middle for doggy walks! I will always make sure to check the equipment used to walk your dog before leaving the house to ensure your dogs safety. I will watch out for any signs of discomfort during walks and keep my eyes peeled for any potential threats. Before leaving I will fill up the water bowl so your pup can stay hydrated throughout the day!
About: I have always had pets growing up as a child and my love for them has grown into my adulthood even more. I have a passion for learning and understanding all different types of animals. My experience in Pet Care is from having my own pets and caring for family, friends and volunteering over the years. 🤍 Updated Schedule 🤍 • Tuesday–Thursday: Mornings are open for drop-in’s and walks until 10:00 AM, with availability again after 7:00 PM for any house sitting or check in’s ☺️ • Friday–Monday: Generally flexible and available for house sitting, including weekends 🎉 Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine because I balance school and part-time work while maintaining a consistent, organized schedule. I’m reliable and intentional about providing pets with consistent care, attention, walks, and companionship while their owners are away. I’m happy to communicate about specific care needs and make sure each pet’s routine is maintained as closely as possible while you’re away. I primarily offer house sitting and dog walking services, and I do not provide pet care in my own home. All care is provided in the client’s home or during scheduled walks. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I prioritize safety, routine, and maintaining the pet’s normal environment to help reduce stress while their owner is away. I carefully follow all instructions regarding feeding schedules, walks, medication (if needed), and household rules. I make sure doors, gates, and leashes are always secured before and after walks, and I pay close attention to each pet’s behavior to ensure they are comfortable and safe at all times. I also keep the home clean and respected, leaving everything as I found it. Trust and communication are very important to me, so I provide regular updates and photos so owners always know how their pet is doing.

About: Availability: 8am-3pm for drop ins and walks. Available to board 1 dog under 40lbs in my apartment in a super dog friendly neighborhood for up to one week. Must drop off and pick up. I'm a lifelong animal lover with over 10 years of experience working in and co-owning a doggy daycare, where I cared for dogs of all breeds, sizes, and personalities. Building trust and making dogs feel safe, comfortable, and happy has always been my favorite part of the job. I offer dog walks in your neighborhood, drop-in visits, and boarding at my apartment for dogs 30lbs or less. I live in a very safe and dog friendly community and will be with your pup the entire time they visit. I will only accept up to TWO dogs at a time for walks and drop-ins so I can give each pup the attention they deserve. I can only take ONE dog for overnights. While I love all animals, dogs have always been a huge part of my life and are the pets I'm most experienced and comfortable caring for. I am originally from the Hudson Valley in New York and just moved to California in early 2026. My boyfriend accepted a job as an airline pilot in San Diego which brought us to this amazing city. Working as a pet sitter is the perfect fit for our new, unpredictable scheduled life here in sunny SoCal and I am fully committed to making sure my history with caring for other people's dogs continues here flawlessly. That being said, I can't wait to meet your pups and you as well! I am only available 8am-3pm even though Rover.com shows a 6am start. Please check my calendar for availability. I update my schedule every 2 weeks to coincide with my other job. ☺️ I'm committed to continuing my education and am currently in the process of becoming certified in canine first aid and emergency care. These skills will be crucial in the event that anything medically related happens while your dog is in my care. I am also insured as a pet sitter/walker through Pet Care Insurance.

About: I've been around animals for many years and have experience caring for both dogs and cats. I understand that every pet has their own personality and routine, so I take the time to make them feel comfortable and safe. I'm happy to follow feeding schedules, administer basic medications if instructed, go on walks, play with energetic pets, or simply provide companionship. I treat every pet as if they were my own and always prioritize their safety, happiness, and well-being. I’m currently working part-time so I’ll have plenty of time to play with your pups! I have very flexible schedule as well so if I’m needed, I can always stop by in addition to the already scheduled times. I try to be around as much as I can. For walks, I usually walk them earlier in the morning before it gets too hot for them.
“This was our first rover for our pup and they were so so quick to respond, sent pics and did a great job! Thank you so much. Will definitely use again when we are going to be away too long.”

About: I have owned and cared for dogs for more than 35 years, including Cocker Spaniels, Bulldogs, and Jack Russells. This has given me experience with different personalities, energy levels, and care needs. I provide a calm, dependable home, am available throughout the day, and have a secure fenced yard where dogs can safely play and relax. I am home throughout the day, so pet care fits naturally into my daily routine. I have plenty of time for regular walks, playtime, feeding, bathroom breaks, attention, and quiet time. I can also follow each dog’s normal schedule to help them feel comfortable and settled. Pets in my home are cared for in a calm, secure environment with a fully fenced yard and plenty of supervision. I follow each owner’s instructions for feeding, walks, medication, and routines. Our children are experienced around dogs and understand the importance of treating them gently and respectfully. In a client’s home, I respect their space and keep their pet’s routine as consistent as possible.
“Lindsay was amazing! I’m a first time user of Rover and just moved to SD. I was a bit nervous for this first visit but Lindsay made sure to answer all my questions, actively communicated, and really made me feel at ease with the first home visit. She was patient with my dog who is having some mild adjustment issues to his new environment. I will definitely be reaching out to her again!”

About: I have experience with all kinds of animals! I grew up with a pet filled home. I have experience with elderly animals, sick animals, puppies, kittens, and tons of other animals as well. I love them all the same. I work completely remote in San Diego. I am able to drive to local homes, parks, etc. I have a lot of flexibility for drop in visits, walks, or I can stay and hangout with your pets if I am able to bring my computer :). I have two kitties of my own so I likely cannot bring any more pets back to my own home, but I am open to the idea if you are comfortable with it!

“Our dogs and cats loved Ravit! It made our trip so much nicer to know that they were getting great care. Ravit even figured out how to get our incredibly picky dog to eat!”

About: Hi! I’m Sohlaire, a reliable and attentive dog walker and pet sitter who genuinely cares about the well-being, safety, and happiness of every animal I work with. I have experience with a wide range of dogs—from easygoing companions to strong, high-energy dogs that require more control, structure, and patience. I’m confident handling dogs that pull, get distracted, or need a calm, steady presence during walks. I also have a special understanding of French Bulldogs and other brachycephalic (short-nosed) breeds. I’m very mindful of their breathing, overheating, and need for slower, more controlled walks—especially in warmer weather. I make sure they stay safe, comfortable, and never overexerted. Your pet’s safety is always my top priority. I pay close attention to behavior, surroundings, and individual needs, and I make sure each walk or visit is tailored to your dog’s personality and energy level. I also have experience with: • Administering medications • Caring for multiple dogs at once • Providing calm, consistent care for older dogs I’m dependable, communicative, and respectful of your home. You can expect updates, photos, and peace of mind while your pet is in my care. I’m currently accepting a limited number of consistent weekly clients, as well as pet sitting bookings. If you’re looking for someone responsible, grounded, and genuinely tuned in to your pet’s needs—I’d love to connect. I truly love animals and treat every pet like they’re my own. I am currently a full time pet care and dog walker which provides me the ability to give all my love & attention into caring for our furry best friends. *Please note i do NOT bring my pup with me unless there is prior approval and preferred meet and greet between our pets. In your home I treat your babies as you would, follow their structure and routines so they continue to have their stability and safety. I also treat your home with respect as my own, keeping it clean and organized so you return to it just as you left!

About: I bring over 5 years of hands on experience working as a pet sitter, dog walker, groomer, and puppy trainer in Brazil. During that time, I cared for more than 15 pets per week, and about 80% of my clients were repeat customers something I’m very proud of. What truly sets me apart is the level of personalized care I provide. Before any service, I take the time to understand each pet in detail through a structured questionnaire. This helps me adapt my approach to their personality, routines, and specific needs. I also incorporate environmental enrichment activities into my care, ensuring pets stay mentally stimulated, active, and happy not just supervised. My name is Anna Julia, and pet care is an important and well structured part of my daily routine. I currently work at Costco in the afternoons, which allows me to dedicate my mornings to providing reliable and attentive pet care services. This schedule enables me to offer consistent availability for morning visits, walks, feedings, and check-ins, ensuring that each pet receives focused, unrushed care. In addition to supporting my future college expenses starting next year, pet care is something I am genuinely passionate about. I approach it with professionalism, organization, and a strong sense of responsibility, making sure every pet fits seamlessly into my routine and receives the attention they deserve. I tailor my care based on each pet’s routine, personality, and the service requested, ensuring they feel safe, comfortable, and well cared for at all times. In my client’s home, I focus on maintaining the pet’s normal environment and routine, which helps reduce stress especially for cats and more sensitive pets. I follow detailed instructions for feeding, walks, medications (if needed), and playtime. I also incorporate environmental enrichment activities to keep pets mentally stimulated and engaged.
About: I’ve taken care of my boxer dog for 12 years and have been taking care of my cats for 10 years. Experience with dog sitting/walking. I have a daytime weekday job, so I am available to walk/run your dog or to play with your cats evenings after 4pm and weekend mornings or afternoons. I am available to visit and play or take them for long walks or runs. Very active, so extended runs available on weekend mornings or afternoons.
About: My husband and I are big animal lovers and wish we could adopt more pets. We recently had to say goodbye to our 11 yo corgi due to cancer and 10 yo cat due to kidney disease — we have so much love to share while we heal and are happy to give your kids the best care and ensure they feel at home. I work from home and we have a large deck that’s fenced and great for sunning or lounging. We are active and our social life has always revolved around where we can bring our fur kiddos. Your pup will be treated like family and we look forward to taking him/her out on lunch or dinner dates, walks, park trips, or just exploring San Diego as a crew. I know what it’s like to have a stranger pet sit your pup through Rover, and we’ve had some not so great experiences with dog sitters in the past, so we wanted to be able to provide a super positive experience while you’re on vacation since we’ve been on the other end too! Also, be prepared to get spammed with lots of cute photos of your pet while you are away (unless you request otherwise!). I work from home 5 days a week in San Diego (my husband works hybrid 3 days a week) and we live in a quiet culdesac in the heart of Bay Park. We are very active and love exploring San Diego - you’ll most likely find us in Ocean Beach playing volleyball, at dog beach, walking Mission Bay or Crown Point, at Fiesta Island, or at a dog-friendly restaurant. We are accustomed to at least 3 walks a day and field trips to the local restaurants or parks. We love exploring the best dog friendly spots San Diego has to offer to make the most out of their day and ours. We have a large fenced patio deck great for lounging and live in a quiet, safe culdesac. Your pet’s safety is number one and we realize the importance as fellow pet parents. We will always keep your pup on leash unless you specifically request a visit to an off leash dog park.
About: Transform your pet care experience with a trusted, experienced animal lover! I’m a kind, reliable, conscientious, and energetic woman in my early 40s with a lifelong passion for animals. I’ve been a devoted dog mom for more than 20 years and have spent the past 5 years working as a part-time dog walker and pet/house sitter. I have extensive experience caring for both dogs and cats (although dogs are my main focus), and I’m committed to giving your pets the same exceptional love and attention that I give my own Cocker Spaniel, Maya. I am especially skilled in caring for senior and special-needs dogs. My heart dog, Layla, lived with chronic kidney disease and neurological/spinal issues for several years, and I provided her with daily, attentive care. I was also the primary caregiver for her brother, Luke, who had similar health challenges. I managed both Layla and Luke’s medical needs until they passed from kidney failure in 2020 at 15½ and 16 years old. I currently have to give my current dog, Maya, multiple meds per day and carefully monitor her due to heart disease. Let me treat your dog(s) or cat(s) like royalty and give you the peace of mind that comes from knowing they are in loving, capable hands while you’re away. Your pets will be showered with affection and cared for with the utmost dedication to their safety, health, comfort, and happiness. Please note: I do not drive and typically walk or use public transit, so I prefer to care for pets located in the Bay Park, Linda Vista, or UTC areas. My current main job is as a cashier/in-store shopper at a grocery store. This job works well for me since it keeps me in shape and gives me lot of exercise (walk 5 to 8 miles a day) to maintain an active lifestyle and keep up with and walk more active, larger dogs. In addition, my work schedule allows me more flexibility for scheduling walks and drop in visits. I usually work 9:30 am to 6 pm most days and can fit in drop-in visits or walks in the early morning before 9 am or early to mid evening after 6:30 pm. I typically have Mondays and Fridays off. However, if I have up to 2 or 3 weeks notice, I can request specific days off to be free to pet/house sit or walk dogs. I am very careful about closing and locking doors to prevent any dogs (or cats) from accidentally getting out. I walk defensively and try my best to avoid any issues with other animals we encounter on walks. I carry citronella spray to address any aggression from other dogs or animals. I will clean up any pet waste I see and make sure water (and food dishes if desired) are full. I also make sure there is nothing in the pet’s reach that could be dangerous to them.
The median cost per visit for pet sitting in Bay Park is $25

Emily was absolutely wonderful with our dog! From the moment we met her, it was clear how caring, trustworthy, and attentive she is. She kept us updated with messages and photos, which gave us so much peace of mind while we were away. Our pup was happy, relaxed, and clearly well loved when we got home. We couldn't have asked for a better sitter, and we're so grateful for the excellent care Emily provided. We would happily book with her again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for someone kind, reliable, and genuinely great with dogs!

Tina is an excellent cat sitter. She is a true professional. She is responsive, took good notes during our initial meeting, and sent thorough picture and written updates on my cat. She even suggested things I hadn't thought of, especially in case of emergency, which was very helpful.

Lauren was the most amazing sitter for my shy and anxious kitty Momo! Momo is antisocial when it comes to new people, but Lauren was so good with her that Momo would purr and happy roll during check ins after a few days. It was an absolute delight to have Lauren care for Momo - she really eased my worries as she was respectful, communicative, excelled at following instructions, and just the absolute best in caring for my skittish kitty!

Hazel was absolutely wonderful with Marcy. She generously made time for a thorough meet & greet beforehand and was incredibly attentive to all of Marcy’s special needs and quirks. It was clear that she listened carefully and put real thought into making Marcy feel comfortable and safe. She also went above and beyond during the visit, including bringing a bag for Marcy’s own treats and handling her dog reactivity calmly and skillfully on their walk. Her communication was exceptional - she left a very detailed, thoughtful update with plenty of photos, which gave me complete peace of mind. Marcy clearly felt comfortable with her, and I would happily book Hazel again. Highly recommend!

Patris watched our babies for a second time & we’re so lucky to have her around! She’s always on top of everything & our cats are clearly comfortable with her & love getting some snuggles while we’re out of town. Appreciate how reliable she is and flexible for when we’re traveling!

5-Star - Absolutely. Jor-el went above and beyond and left our place better than he found it. We have temperamental doggies that have some bowel issues. I had left my last few pee pads on the carpet with a few accidents on them. After five or six days of challenging walks and feedings, we arrived to find three sparkling new pee pads that Jor-el must have bought to make our return trip that much better. I'm so glad everything went well, because our doggies are rescues with issues. Thanks!!!

Julia was quick to respond and super reliable. She took my puppy to her house to play with her two dogs and then dropped her back off, and visited again in the afternoon to feed her lunch and let her out. She sent many pictures and took great care. Highly recommend and have already booked Julia again!

At nine years old, Gavin had only two pet sitters before we moved here. I am so grateful that he feels safe with Paige. Her gentle manner and calm, positive energy are perfect for him. She's so caring, thoughtful and eager to help. I love his happy-face photos that she sends and her support of what's important to me. She's a gem!

I had such a great experience! Frankie is a very nervous and independent cat, so I was worried about leaving her with someone new. She was incredibly patient, respected Frankie's space, and never tried to force interactions, which I really appreciated. It gave me so much peace of mind knowing Frankie was being cared for by someone who understood her personality. Communication was great, and I came home to a happy, well-cared-for cat. I will absolutely be booking with her again in the future and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a thoughtful and reliable pet sitter!
