About: I have experience with all shapes and sizes of dogs. I grew up with a cocker spaniel, beagle, and pug, and cared for my neighbors husky, golden, and chihuahua. As an adult I have owned a black lab and now a Great Dane/lab mix, so I have seen it all. I would love to help you care for your dogs when needed. I am currently working part time from home and have a flexible schedule so I can fit your needs and give your pup plenty of attention. I can accommodate your needs, wether your pup needs just some love and play during the day or a walk morning and evening I’m able to help!

About: I’ve taken care of all kinds of dogs since 10 years old and have feed, bathed, provide exercise, and different kinds of enrichment for pets. I love animals and am working on being able to train dogs. I have a medium sized yard and am willing to take dogs on hikes. I’m currently working part-time and can board from certain days with given notice. On the days I don’t which is 4 days out of week I am mostly home all day and take out my own dog most days on hikes. I have a fenced yard and have my own dog which I sometimes keep in the crate or outside when I am not home. My dog can be mean and first but then becomes more friendly with time. I provide stimulation and exercise for my pets and the pets I am taking care of.

About: My husband and I are big animal lovers and wish we could adopt more pets. Instead, we’re turning to Rover so we can introduce new friends to our 9 year old corgi and give others a sense of comfort that their fur kid is in good hands while they’re away. We’re in our late 30s, I work from home 5 days a week (my husband works hybrid 3 days a week) and we live in a quiet culdesac in the heart of Bay Park. We are very active and love exploring San Diego - you’ll most likely find us in Ocean Beach playing volleyball, at dog beach, walking Mission Bay or Crown Point, at Fiesta Island, or at a dog-friendly restaurant. We joke that our social lives revolve around where we can bring our corgi! I know what it’s like to have a stranger pet sit your pup through Rover, and we’ve had some not so great experiences with dog sitters in the past, so we wanted to be able to provide a super positive experience while you’re on vacation since we’ve been on the other end too! Also, be prepared to get spammed with lots of cute photos of your pet while you are away (unless you request otherwise!). Both my husband and I work from home (me full time 5 days a week and he hybrid 3 days a week). We are accustomed to at least 3 walks a day for our pup and field trips to the beach or parks. We have a large fenced patio deck great for lounging and live in a quiet, safe culdesac. Your pet’s safety is number one and we realize the importance as fellow pet parents. We will always keep your pup on leash unless you specifically request a visit to an off leash dog park.

About: My husband and I have raised and trained 3 German Shepherd puppies. They are well trained enough for our 5 and 6 year old girls to walk them unaided. We know our way around animals and treat them with respect. We also live on a canyon, with a large yard. If your furry friend will be visiting us, they will have a wonderful time. My husband and I both work from home and share in responsibilities. If your pet is staying with us, we are always here keeping a mindful eye on them. If we are dropping in, to check on your furry baby, it fits easily in-between our work schedules or dropping our kids at school. We are super flexible. We have a fully fenced yard and our dogs love playing with other dogs. We live on a canyon and have a ton of natural trees and areas for fur babies to explore and play. We work from home and always have an eye out for them.

About: Taking care of dogs was just part of my daily life as long as I could remember. I've had dogs from puppyhood into old age, and have experience giving medications, some injections, and even caring for a deaf dog. I am good with nervous, shy, and traumatized dogs as long as they do not react with biting (growling and nipping I understand fully). I have gone through a basic dog training course, which specialized in nervous dogs, in the past. My friends regularly have their dogs at my place when they are out of town. Although I have not had a cat since I was a child,I have a ton of experience in understanding them and have helped take care of them off and on at other houses over the years. I am open flexibility at this time as I am self employed, and would prefer to have regulars on my calendar so I can work around that. I do adhere to all requests and instructions made for your pets. My dog was once so nervous that she had special social needs. I know the importance of specific directions.

About: I've have been dog sitting/walking and grooming since I was ten years old for all my neighbors. I always had a love for every animal. When I turned 17 I've worked as a wildlife technician/ vet assistant for 9 years now, and been a dog /cat groomer for 8 years, also I was a animal safety officer at my last salon,I'm always very aware of how just a little stress can affect a animal in a big way and strive to make sure there as relaxed as possible when there in my care. I do not mind taking on any animal with any physical or medical issues (including giving insulin/oral medication). I'm very patient with nervous dogs, and can always make them feel safe.My husband and I have been in the animal medical profession for 30 years put together. I always take walks in the mornings, noon and afternoon. If you wish as well I was a groomer with petsmart for 5 years before going into private practice, I have all salon quality equipment at home and can give your dog anything from nail trim, ear cleaning, to a bath or all of it including haircut. Hope you do pick me because your animals will be loved and cared for as if they were my own. I have a daughter, so I'm home all the time and have lots of time for love and cuddles, and getting out multiple times a day for exercise for my daughter your pup will be a welcome addition to help both of them get there energy out. I have two baby gates, 1 at the front door and 1 at the kitchen. And keep all electrical cords up. Because I have a toddler my house is more baby proofed so nothing dangerous can be chewed on. I vacuum twice a day and make sure all meds are up high and in baby lock cabinets.

About: I am a lover of the natural world and all it's animals. I have sat for friends and family's dogs, cats, snakes, and birds since my early 20s. I have also fostered a sweet angel pit mix who came to the shelter malnourished with multiple tumors on her body and a broken hind leg. I administered her daily medications, nourished her body and slowly helped her heal throughout and after multiple surgeries to remove her tumors and amputate her leg before finding her furever home. It was a gift to see her grow stronger and thrive as a silly goofy girl. I am patient, attentive, and easily adapt to your pets needs whether it's on walks or cozy at home. My heart dog, Layla, lived with chronic kidney disease and neurological/spinal issues for several years, and I provided her with daily, attentive care. I was also the primary caregiver for her brother, Luke, who had similar health challenges. I managed both Layla and Luke’s medical needs until they passed from kidney failure in 2020 at 15½ and 16 years old. I currently have to give my current dog, Maya, multiple meds per day and carefully monitor her due to heart disease. My current main job is as a cashier/in-store shopper at a grocery store. This job works well for me since it keeps me in shape and gives me lot of exercise (walk 5 to 8 miles a day) to maintain an active lifestyle and keep up with and walk more active, larger dogs. In addition, my work schedule allows me more flexibility for scheduling walks and drop in visits. I usually work 9:30 am to 6 pm most days and can fit in drop-in visits or walks in the early morning before 9 am or early to mid evening after 6:30 pm. I typically have Mondays and Fridays off. However, if I have up to 2 or 3 weeks notice, I can request specific days off to be free to pet/house sit or walk dogs. I am very careful about closing and locking doors to prevent any dogs (or cats) from accidentally getting out. I walk defensively and try my best to avoid any issues with other animals we encounter on walks. I carry citronella spray to address any aggression from other dogs or animals. I will clean up any pet waste I see and make sure water (and food dishes if desired) are full. I also make sure there is nothing in the pet’s reach that could be dangerous to them.
