About: **STARTING AT A DISCOUNTED PRICE (so I can get some good reviews) TAKE ADVANTAGE** 😻 Hi, I'm Catie! While I am launching my professional pet sitting career, I bring a lifetime of personal devotion, deep patience, and specialized care straight to your doorstep. In my own home, I manage a beautifully blended, multi-pet family. I am the proud pet parent of a 55lb, 16 yr old senior dog, who is currently navigating mobility loss, as well as a wonderful 7-year-old cat. They have lived together for years and get along exactly like brothers! As your neighbor, my goal is to give you total peace of mind. For house sitting, I provide dedicated overnight care and evening companionship (while dropping home briefly during the day to check on my own sweet babies). Whether you need an attentive neighborhood walk, a patient senior drop-in, or dedicated cat care, I will treat your fur babies with the exact same vigilance, safety, and love that I give my own. 🫶🏻 Pet care is already the central focus of my daily routine, as I manage a structured schedule for my own 16-year-old senior dog and 7-year-old cat. I am highly disciplined with my time management and routine tracking. Pet care isn't just a side job for me—it is a seamless extension of the daily love and vigilance I already practice at home. Because I only provide care inside my clients' homes and neighborhoods, my top priority is safety, security, and maintaining the pet's established comfort zone and routine!
About: I have experience with all kinds of animals! I grew up with a pet filled home. I have experience with elderly animals, sick animals, puppies, kittens, and tons of other animals as well. I love them all the same. I work completely remote in San Diego. I am able to drive to local homes, parks, etc. I have a lot of flexibility for drop in visits, walks, or I can stay and hangout with your pets if I am able to bring my computer :). I have two kitties of my own so I likely cannot bring any more pets back to my own home, but I am open to the idea if you are comfortable with it!
About: I am very involved in the loving and care of your precious cat! I will spend lots of time with them and take care of every basic need and more. Hi there! I work in the school district and unfortunately don’t have as many hours over the summer. However, that means I have more free time to take care of cute animals over the summer. I am very involved in the love and caring of animals. My daily routine with them looks like walking them 1-3 times day (if you have a dog), petting them animals, spending time with them, feeding them, washing them if needed, and medications are fine too.
“Lynn is a wonderful drop in sitter for our puppy. She is reliable and always on time for visits. Lime enjoys her play time with Lynn - we don’t know what we would do without her!”

About: I grew up in a very dog oriented family. All kinds and sizes from German Shepard to small Chihuahua. (Almost everything in between)my family and I treated our dogs as family. I can treat your pooch as such when he/ she comes to visit or vice versa. I love to spend extra attention making a dog feel secure and confident around me and his/her environment to my best ability. My schedule is very flexible which is ideal for pet sitting. I have class online Tuesday and Thursday (remote) I have a lab on Thursday for only 4 hours. I have a banquet job which is only 5 hours later in the evening. I have two very responsible pet loving roommates. One actually referred me to Rover. I have a fenced off secure backyard plenty of room to run around. They have compete access to the house and have two doggie doors where they can go out and go potty. For extra safety I have roommates to make sure everything is going amazing. On top of that I have amazing neighbors readily to help if needed. Everything is safe and secure as always.
“Julie was a wonderful and professional sitter to our two cats who enjoyed their visits with her very much. She took great care of the house, litter and food bowls and sent tons of great photos. Highly recommend!”

“This was our first rover for our pup and they were so so quick to respond, sent pics and did a great job! Thank you so much. Will definitely use again when we are going to be away too long.”

About: I have always had pets growing up as a child and my love for them has grown into my adulthood even more. I have a passion for learning and understanding all different types of animals. My experience in Pet Care is from having my own pets and caring for family, friends and volunteering over the years. Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine because I already structure my schedule around school and part-time work, which makes me reliable and consistent with time management. I am available for early morning walks which works well before I start my day with classes and responsibilities for my teaching credential program. I also have consistent availability for afternoon and evening walks, once my schoolwork and part-time job shifts are completed. Because I’m used to balancing school, work, and structured commitments, I’m very dependable with routines, feeding schedules, and walk times. I prioritize communication and make sure pets get consistent care, attention, and exercise during the times I commit to. I primarily offer pet sitting and dog walking services, and I do not provide pet care in my own home. All care is provided in the client’s home or during scheduled walks. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I prioritize safety, routine, and maintaining the pet’s normal environment to help reduce stress while their owner is away. I carefully follow all instructions regarding feeding schedules, walks, medication (if needed), and household rules. I make sure doors, gates, and leashes are always secured before and after walks, and I pay close attention to each pet’s behavior to ensure they are comfortable and safe at all times. I also keep the home clean and respected, leaving everything as I found it. Trust and communication are very important to me, so I provide regular updates and photos so owners always know how their pet is doing.

About: I’ve taken care of pets my whole life, since I grew up with pets. I’ve been my family’s go to pet sitter. I work most days from home, so I can easily adjust to schedules and can do multiple visits as needed. I’m also available during the weekend. I take your pets safety as my number one priority. Completely understand that every pet has their own unique needs and I will always support them.

About: I’ve had dogs my entire life and currently care for my two dogs daily. I’m very familiar with structured routines, I’m used to long walks — sometimes up to two hours — including playtime and rest breaks as needed, always adapting to the dog’s energy level. I’m comfortable caring for puppies, adult dogs, and senior dogs, always adapting to their specific needs. I’m patient, attentive, and treat every dog as if they were my own, prioritizing safety and lots of affection. I currently work online and part-time, so I would have plenty of time to care for your dog, giving him attention, playtime, and exercise. At home, we usually go to bed early because we have a dog who wakes up very early and starts his day with his routine of going out to relieve himself. I have two friendly dogs who could keep your dog company. I'm also very close to the bay where I usually go with my dogs. I typically take a long walk in the mornings to Fiesta or around the area, depending on how my day is going. And I have several spaces in the house where your dog can rest peacefully after walks.
About: I have never lived life without a dog. I got my first puppy where I went through every single stage of raising and taking care of a dog. I also have further my experience by learning how to provide first aid to dogs and cats. I also have invested in my own pet insurance. Dogs know I love them. I will give you and your pet the best stress free experience. I work part time, so I have plenty of time to check on the babies. In my free time I spend time with my dog and other dogs. I have a great balance in giving the necessities of potty breaks, water, and food. However, I also provide walks, enrichment, and cuddles. I focus on not only making the stay comfortable for you and your dog, but enjoyable.
“I can't say enough great things about Alexis! This was our first time using Rover in San Diego, and our kitties have become a little more skittish with strangers since the pandemic. Alexis was so communicative, flexible and understanding. She came to meet our cats and throughout the whole stay, kept me up-to-date on how the cats were doing and was prompt with the check-ins. She made me feel so confident that our girls were taken care of and I would 10000% use Alexis again. Thank you, Alexis, for taking such wonderful care of our persnickety cats, especially during a holiday week!”

About: What sets me apart as an animal caretaker is how naturally connected I’ve always felt to animals. I’m really intuitive and heart-led with them, and I think growing up around all kinds of animals shaped who I am in a big way. I’ve cared for dogs, cats, hamsters, snakes, praying mantises, and more, so I’m comfortable with a wide range of personalities and needs. I genuinely love building trust with animals and making them feel safe, understood, and cared for. Pet caretaking fits really naturally into my daily routine because I already have a dog and structure a lot of my day around animal care, walks, attention, and consistency. I’m looking to fill my schedule out more, so adding additional caretaking responsibilities would be really easy to weave into my routine. I’m very flexible with hours and genuinely enjoy spending time with animals, so it feels less like work to me and more like something I naturally love doing. When caring for pets in my home or a client’s home, I adapt my approach depending on the dog’s breed, personality, energy level, and training experience. I use different tools and techniques based on what each animal responds best to and what keeps them safest and most comfortable. The services I currently offer include walks and overnight care, and I always focus on creating a calm, reliable, and positive environment for the pets I’m caring for.
“Lilly is the best! She really goes above and beyond to make my quirky rescue feel comfortable, loved, and entertained. Super punctual, communicative, and kind. Highly recommend!”

“Lindsay was amazing! I’m a first time user of Rover and just moved to SD. I was a bit nervous for this first visit but Lindsay made sure to answer all my questions, actively communicated, and really made me feel at ease with the first home visit. She was patient with my dog who is having some mild adjustment issues to his new environment. I will definitely be reaching out to her again!”

About: I’ve taken care of all kinds of dogs since 10 years old and have feed, bathed, provide exercise, and different kinds of enrichment for pets. I love animals and am working on being able to train dogs. I have a medium sized yard and am willing to take dogs on hikes. I’m currently working part-time and can board from certain days with given notice. On the days I don’t which is 4 days out of week I am mostly home all day and take out my own dog most days on hikes. I have a fenced yard and have my own dog which I sometimes keep in the crate or outside when I am not home. My dog can be mean and first but then becomes more friendly with time. I provide stimulation and exercise for my pets and the pets I am taking care of.
About: I have over 30 years of experience in handling and training all kinds of dogs. Extensive experience in mitigating and training reactive dogs. I have raised 4 puppies throughout my life and fostered many more. I have a Newfoundland, English Sheppard, Blue Heeler, and Labrador Retriever at home that I miss dearly while attending school I currently go to school Monday-Friday mostly during the day but do not have any other obligations. Pretty flexible when it comes to last minute needs I have a quick profile sheet to fill out that way ground rules and boundaries are set up so no unwanted behaviors are formed and your dog is less stressed since there are familiarities. I also like to regularly send photos and updates

We had Jaylynne check in with our cats every day while we were on vacation for two weeks and she was amazing! She wrote detailed reports every day on how the cats were doing and our very shy cat even warmed up to her. She really helped ease our anxiety about leaving them for so long and we couldn’t have asked for better care.

Catherine was so nice and easy to communicate with! She made it feel easy to trust her and I booked her last minute cause I had a change of plans. She was understanding, and I knew I could rely on her, she sent tons of cute pics and kept it simple and easy. I didn’t worry one bit!

I couldn’t have asked for a better sitter for Soren and Adonis! She sent so many wonderful photos and detailed updates every visit, which gave me so much peace of mind while I was away. She spent quality time playing with them, made sure they were well cared for, noticed and communicated a small issue with one of my fountains, and even emptied both litter drawers before I returned home. It was obvious she genuinely cared about them and took the time to get to know their personalities. My cats looked happy, relaxed, and comfortable in every update. I would absolutely book with her again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a caring, attentive, and reliable pet sitter!

Audrey is fantastic! Especially for pet types that are unfairly biased against based on complete ignorance like sweet little rat babies. She’s not afraid to care for them properly. We were so grateful to find her after a string of disappointing interviews with people who say they are “animal people” but only extend that love to dogs or cats. Thank you Audrey!
Emily was awesome! She was incredibly easy to work with, communicative, and flexible. Our Golden Retriever puppy, Teddy, took to her right away, and it was obvious she was great with him. She kept us updated throughout the visit, which gave us a lot of peace of mind. We will book with her again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable and caring sitter.

Nohemi was amazing with our 3 kitties!! She was reliable, communicative, and so caring with our cats. We even have some medication that one of our cats needs and she was so thoughtful about making sure everything was done properly. Our house was also pristine after she left. I would hire her again in a heartbeat!!

I can't recommend Emily enough! She is incredibly kind, trustworthy, and genuinely cares about my senior pup. I always feel completely safe leaving my dog in her care, which gives me so much peace of mind. She's also an excellent communicator and keeps me updated every step of the way. Even when my family threw a few unexpected curveballs her way, she handled everything with patience, flexibility, and a great attitude. We are so grateful to have found her!
