“This was our second time using Kim as our cat sitter, and just like last time, I felt I could relax on my vacation thanks to her! One of my cats recently was put on kidney medication, which resulted in me getting microchip-triggered feeders for both cats. Kim learned how to use these immediately, and did a good job of giving my one cat his medications! She also watered my plants the week we were gone, and dealt with the many messes my cats made. I would highly recommend using Kim as a pet sitter!”

About: I’m a caring and reliable pet sitter with years of animal care experience. As a full-time sitter, I’ll devote my full attention to your pets throughout the day. I’ll follow their routines closely, including meals, walks, potty breaks, and playtime, so they always get the care and attention they need, even during typical work hours when other sitters might be too busy. Please note: on most Saturdays, I have another commitment from 5am-12pm. Please keep this in mind before booking, especially if your dog can’t be left alone for that length of time or requires meds, feeding, or other care during those hours. For boarding or house-sitting, I take only one client at a time and have no pets of my own, so your pets won’t need to share my care or space with other animals. This ensures a stress-free, calm environment that respects their routines and individual needs. I’m a UC Irvine graduate and former paralegal who now happily focuses on personalized, hands-on pet care. I’m experienced with administering some oral medications, including pills, powders, and liquids in food, and following detailed care instructions provided by owners to ensure every pet receives the best care. I treat every pet like my own, and my calm, positive energy helps them feel comfortable, safe, and loved. Their happiness, safety, and well-being are always my top priorities. I create a calm and loving environment where pets can relax and feel truly cared for, even when their owners are away. Throughout the day, your dog will receive plenty of attention and pets or cozy cuddles, helping them feel comfortable and happy while you’re away. I tailor walks to each dog’s energy and preferences, whether that’s a calm stroll around the neighborhood, potty breaks in your yard, or extra playtime in a safe, open area. Safety is always a top priority while we explore, sniff around, and enjoy our walks together. Housesitting: I treat your home with care and respect, keeping everything clean and tidy. I double-check doors and appliances to make sure everything is secure, so your home is just as you left it when you return. Boarding: I live in a quiet, single-story home with my mom, who also loves dogs. Your pet will enjoy a calm and peaceful environment with no other pets, helping them feel completely at ease. They’ll receive plenty of attention, love, and care, just like part of our family!
“Lizzy took such great care of our cat Lucy. She made sure all her needs were met while we were gone. Lizzy checked in promptly and, if necessary, followed up with us on any questions she had. We highly recommend Lizzy to care for your furry lived ones.”

“Aubrey is the best! Looks like our dog had a great time based on the adorable pictures she got of him, and everything was in order when we got home. Absolutely will keep using Aubrey to care for our boy!”

About: I had 3 dogs since 2002 and raised them from puppy early age until their end of life. my last one died 1 year ago. I'm not ready to get another one but would love to give some love and attention to someone else's dogs. I'm newly retired and would love to spend more time around dogs to play with them, walk with them. I love to be outside as much weather permit. I have a fenced backyard and able to crate your dog if needed. If I have to go away for a short period like 1hr, your dog will be confined in a safe area (entire family room).
About: I grew up with a multi-poodle who was part of my life for 12 years. She was more than just a pet (she was family) and taking care of her taught me so much about what dogs need and how much love they give back. Since then, I’ve always been around dogs, whether it’s through friends or family, and it’s something that’s just always felt natural to me. I love being around them, and caring for them doesn’t feel like a task, it’s just something I genuinely enjoy. I am currently available anytime. Outside of pet care, I just finished my bachelors degree in Architecture and am now studying for my law school entrance exam! Right now, I am offering pet care in my own home. I am also happy to care for pets in their own space, where they’re most comfortable. I always make sure to follow any instructions the owner provides, whether it’s feeding schedules, walks, playtime, or specific routines. I’m very attentive to each pet’s needs and personality, and I make it a priority to keep them feeling safe, happy, and well cared for while their owner is away.
“Jess was very professional, punctual, and communicative! She provided excellent drop-in care for my 2 dogs while I was away for the day. She truly cares about making sure your pets are comfortable and well cared for.”

“Provided great service on short notice! Watched my 2 year old golden retriever who’s a handful and out 4 year old Pomeranian mix. They both loved her and she was on time with checkins and sent us lots of pictures. Highly recommend! Will definitely request again for next trip!”

About: Hello my name is Stephanie and since I am no longer able to have a dog, would love to help you walk or take care of yours! I love all types of dogs and love to create new best friends through love and care, cuddles, walks and treats. I take “hot girl walks” daily, would love a partner in crime to do it with. I do have a full time job, work mornings so am able to do evening walks or anytime Monday and Thursdays (my days off) also open to sitting at any time When I did have a cute little dog (3 I total), I trained them from a puppies and continued training in making sure they were well behaved and cared for always. Dogs to me are more than pets and I would treat yours just the same.
“Lauren is the best! She took excellent care of our cat. He absolutely adores her. She's very kind, professional and conscientious. It made traveling a lot easier for us, knowing that she was taking care of him. We will definitely be booking her again in the future!”

About: I’ve spent over a decade caring for my own dog, a pit bull who was part of my family for 11 years and lived to 15 years old. He faced multiple health challenges over the years, including cancer, and I supported him through every stage of his life. That experience taught me patience, attentiveness, and how to stay calm and consistent, even in more demanding situations. I’m comfortable with medium to large breeds and understand the importance of structure, routine, and a safe, stable environment. I treat every dog with the same level of care and respect I gave my own I’m retired, so I’m home most of the day and able to provide consistent care, attention, and supervision. My wife also works from home, so there is almost always someone present to make sure your dog is safe and comfortable. We’re able to maintain a steady routine with regular potty breaks, feeding, walks, and plenty of attention throughout the day. Dogs in our care are rarely left alone and are treated like part of the family. Your dog’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. I provide a calm, clean, and secure home environment where dogs are always supervised and cared for. Since I’m retired and my wife works from home, there is almost always someone present, so your dog won’t be left alone for long periods. I take the time to understand each dog’s routine, personality, and needs to ensure they feel safe and comfortable while they’re here. I also keep a close eye on behavior and interactions at all times. My goal is to provide an stress-free, reliable experience so you can feel confident your dog is in good hands. To keep a safe and comfortable home environment, I ask that dogs are house-trained and non-destructive. Owners are responsible for any significant damage caused during a stay.”

“Once again Leah was fantastic with my cat. She made my trip so much easier because I knew that my cat was safe and happy with Leah caring for her. I will definitely book with her again for my next trip.”

“Kristen went above and beyond making sure our animals were loved and cared for. She took tons of pictures and gave us detailed updates. It’s clear she cares about what she does, highly recommend her for your next pet sitter!”

About: I have been surrounded by animals my whole life. From big dogs to small dogs. I currently have a 13 year old French bulldog. She is blind and deaf and has a hard time getting around. I do everything I possibly can to make her happy. From taking slow walks, to administering medication. She is the light of my life. I will make my dog my priority. I will keep them safe and happy. I will love them like they are my own. I am a college student home for the summer. I am currently only working for Rover! I am very flexible with home visits and walk times. My goal is to keep your home and your pets as safe as possible. I will make sure to lock doors, gates, and secure your pet in the home or crates as needed.
About: Hi, pet owners!! I’m a reliable and experienced dog walker and pet sitter serving Rancho Bernardo and surrounding areas, including Escondido and Poway. I also bring over 14 years of hands on experience as a veterinary assistant, working with animals of all ages and temperaments. I’m comfortable caring for everything from energetic puppies to senior pets with special needs. My background includes monitoring vital signs, administering medications, assisting with animal rehabilitation, feeding, and maintaining proper care and organization in a clinical setting. This experience allows me to provide attentive, knowledgeable care while keeping your pet’s health and safety a top priority. Whether you need daily walks, drop in visits or pet sitting while you’re away, you can count on me to treat your pets like family. I’d love to keep your furry friends happy, healthy, and well cared for! Dedicating all of my time to take care of others pets. Looking forward to sitting with pets, walking pets or dropping by to check on your loved fur babies. Willing to provide services at client’s home so that the pet is happy and feels safe in its own environment. Willing to follow pet parents instructions how to care for their pet.
About: Hello I’m Nancy! I’m a recent college graduate from UCSD who would prefer more animal friends than humans. I joined Rover to meet more local furry neighbors and help out pet owners. I’m a hamster owner myself, but I have plenty of house sitting experience for dogs and cats since 2021. Owners that book recurring visits often see their pets are excited to see me again. I’m honored to be your sitter — your pet will get all of my love and affection and you will receive lots of (goofy) photos to prove that. Cat owners extremely benefit from me, as I have a younger sister who also helps out whenever I am cat sitting. Your cat will understand what it is like to be a celebrity between the two of us since we are big cat lovers! My work schedule is Thursday-Mon 11pm-7:30am. I typically don’t sleep until a couple hours later (10-11am) and I wake up around 3-4pm. So my schedule can align well with pets that are familiar with a typical 9-5 schedule. I rarely travel so my schedule can accommodate pets under short notice. Before you entrust me with the care of your friend, I’d love to know more about them. Ideally, I’d love to schedule a meet and greet beforehand so they get used to me and so we both know more about each other. It is important to me that I meet you and your pet’s expectations. I’d love to know all the quirks and traits of your pet.

She’s amazing. My cat is not very friendly to people but Sabrina got ways to connect with her. My cat let her pat her. We have other people come and go all the time. My cat had never let others touch her except us. I believe Sabrina must have some magical wands. I highly recommend her to anyone who is looking for someone sitting with your pets.

Triana went above and beyond to make sure our pets were taken care of while we went on a family trip. We got pictures from every visit and regular communication about how everyone was doing. We felt safe and happy the animals’ needs were being met the whole time. Thanks Triana!

Once again, Nicole took great care of our kitties! We were gone for two weeks, and she kept us updated about what was going on with them the whole time. She is very responsive, and she gave them extra cuddles when they seemed lonely :). We will definitely book her next time we're out of town!

Kimberly has made a great bond with my skiddish kitties. I always know they’re in good hands with her and she brings a calm and caring presence in my absence. She has excellent communication and I appreciate her efforts to ask questions or raise concerns when needed.

Heather was great to work with! We have two relatively chill cats, but they come with a lot of instructions. Heather did everything we asked and definitely spoiled them! I will request her again in the future for sure. She gave us total peace of mind while we were on vacation.

We are very pleased with Krzysztof’s services. He was quick to respond to our very last minute request and accommodated our location that we needed. He was attentive, paid attention to details when visiting and listening to what we needed for Hula. He treated Hula like his own and always communicated with us. He’s amazing with animals and has such a caring spirit. From the moment he came, we could feel comfortable with him. Hula instantly loved him too. We trust our dog’s instincts! We will be booking with Krzysztof again!!
Alinah did a great job taking care of Tart. She was reliable, communicative, and very sweet with him. She kept me updated with pictures and videos and was very patient in helping with all the little requests I had. She was also very helpful and flexible with a last-minute check-in. I really appreciate the effort she put in and how kind she was with Tart. I would definitely book with her again!

Jamie is the best. She’s incredibly responsive. She also takes wonderful care of our two elderly kitties, who have somewhat complicated care instructions. We can leave for a week and have total peace of mind. Plus her photos are incredible - the pet photos we show our friends, are the ones from her visits!
