About: I’ve spent over a decade caring for my own dog, a pit bull who was part of my family for 11 years and lived to 15 years old. He faced multiple health challenges over the years, including cancer, and I supported him through every stage of his life. That experience taught me patience, attentiveness, and how to stay calm and consistent, even in more demanding situations. I’m comfortable with medium to large breeds and understand the importance of structure, routine, and a safe, stable environment. I treat every dog with the same level of care and respect I gave my own I’m retired, so I’m home most of the day and able to provide consistent care, attention, and supervision. My wife also works from home, so there is almost always someone present to make sure your dog is safe and comfortable. We’re able to maintain a steady routine with regular potty breaks, feeding, walks, and plenty of attention throughout the day. Dogs in our care are rarely left alone and are treated like part of the family. Your dog’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. I provide a calm, clean, and secure home environment where dogs are always supervised and cared for. Since I’m retired and my wife works from home, there is almost always someone present, so your dog won’t be left alone for long periods. I take the time to understand each dog’s routine, personality, and needs to ensure they feel safe and comfortable while they’re here. I also keep a close eye on behavior and interactions at all times. My goal is to provide an stress-free, reliable experience so you can feel confident your dog is in good hands. To keep a safe and comfortable home environment, I ask that dogs are house-trained and non-destructive. Owners are responsible for any significant damage caused during a stay.”
About: https://www.rover.com/sit/racheb16940 Hi! I’m a lifelong dog lover who grew up surrounded by dogs and truly can’t imagine life without them. I’ve had my own dog, Dougie, since he was a puppy, so I understand firsthand the care, patience, and consistency dogs need at every stage of life. We’re a very active household — regular hikes, dog beach trips, long walks, and plenty of outdoor time are part of our routine. That said, I’m just as happy providing calm companionship, belly rubs, and lots of snuggles for dogs who prefer a slower pace. I pride myself on being reliable, trustworthy, and safety-focused. I pay close attention to routines, feeding instructions, and any special needs, and I always make sure dogs feel comfortable, secure, and loved while they’re in my care. Friends and family often trust me with their pets because they know I treat every dog like my own. Whether your dog needs exercise, structure, or simply a friendly face and extra affection, I’m here to help. I look forward to meeting you and your pup! I have full availability working from home. Dougie is eight, so I’ve had a solid routine since he was a puppy with lots of exercise and snuggles. I provide a safe, calm, and loving environment for every pet in my care. I carefully follow each pet’s routine, including feeding, walks, and any special instructions, to keep them comfortable and stress-free. Safety is always my top priority — I supervise pets closely, use leashes during walks, and keep spaces secure and hazard-free. Whether in my home or a client’s home, I treat every pet like my own and keep owners updated with regular messages and photos.
“Aubrey is the best! Looks like our dog had a great time based on the adorable pictures she got of him, and everything was in order when we got home. Absolutely will keep using Aubrey to care for our boy!”

About: I have grown up with both dogs and cats and have cared for many pets of my own over the years. My experience spans every life stage - from energetic puppies and kittens to senior pets needing gentle, attentive support. I've worked with a wide range of breeds and temperaments and understand how to tailor care to each animal's unique needs. I currently share my home with two Australian Shepherds, ages 5 and 6, who keep me active and always learning. I've also provided care for many pets belonging to friends, family, and clients, always treating them with the same love and respect I give my own animals. I'm a true animal and nature lover, and I take pride in creating a safe, positive, and comfortable experience for every pet in my care. Pet care is naturally woven into my day. Because I work from home, I'm able to maintain a consistent routine that keeps me available for walks, checkins, feeding schedules, and companionship throughout the day. I structure my work around the pets I am caring for, ensuring they receive regular attention, exercise, and supervision. Whether it's morning walks, midday playtime, or evening check-ins, I'm able to provide reliable, flexible care that fits each pets individual needs. When caring for pets in a client's home, my focus is on maintaining their routine, comfort, and sense of security. I follow the pet parent's instructions closely, keep the environment clean and safe, and make sure each pet receives plenty of attention, companionship, and structure throughout the visit.

“We were out of town for a week and a half and Lindsay took wonderful care of our two cats. She was always on time, did not rush and made sure the cats got the attention they needed, and she was great at sending pictures and communicating as needed. This is our second time having Lindsay take care of our pets and I plan to use her as needed in the future and would highly recommend her.”

I do everything I possibly can to make her happy. From taking slow walks, to administering medication. She is the light of my life. I will make my dog my priority. I will keep them safe and happy. I will love them like they are my own. I am a college student home for the summer. I am currently only working for Rover! I am very flexible with home visits and walk times. My goal is to keep your home and your pets as safe as possible. I will make sure to lock doors, gates, and secure your pet in the home or crates as needed.
“Jessica was great!! She communicated well and responded quickly. She reminded me to make sure she had access to the pets before I left. I came home to a sweet note and happy and healthy animals. Her pictures and care card where thorough, letting me know they were in good hands while I was away. Would definitely book her again!!”

About: I grew up with dogs and had dogs almost all time. My grand dad has this tradition to adopt a pup when there was a child birth in our family. Due to which all my cousins grew up with dogs , caring and sharing our laughter , food with them. I have experience managing all size dog. I currently am a proud mom of a Maltese who fell into my laps during pandemic and a golden girl Arya. Back home , I have mountain dog and terrier who, my dad is looking after them in our farm house. Being a farmer’s daughter , I have loved animals since forever. I have been associated with animal shelter and rescue groups since I was 16 years. I just feel they deserve to be sharing the space with us and feel protected.
“Kristen went above and beyond making sure our animals were loved and cared for. She took tons of pictures and gave us detailed updates. It’s clear she cares about what she does, highly recommend her for your next pet sitter!”

About: Hello my name is Stephanie and since I am no longer able to have a dog, would love to help you walk or take care of yours! I love all types of dogs and love to create new best friends through love and care, cuddles, walks and treats. I take “hot girl walks” daily, would love a partner in crime to do it with. I do have a full time job, work mornings so am able to do evening walks or anytime Monday and Thursdays (my days off) also open to sitting at any time When I did have a cute little dog (3 I total), I trained them from a puppies and continued training in making sure they were well behaved and cared for always. Dogs to me are more than pets and I would treat yours just the same.
About: I grew up with a multi-poodle who was part of my life for 12 years. She was more than just a pet (she was family) and taking care of her taught me so much about what dogs need and how much love they give back. Since then, I’ve always been around dogs, whether it’s through friends or family, and it’s something that’s just always felt natural to me. I love being around them, and caring for them doesn’t feel like a task, it’s just something I genuinely enjoy. I am currently available anytime Monday through Friday. Outside of pet care, I just finished my bachelors degree in Architecture and am now studying for my licensing exams! Right now, I am offering pet care in my own home. I am also happy to care for pets in their own space, where they’re most comfortable. I always make sure to follow any instructions the owner provides, whether it’s feeding schedules, walks, playtime, or specific routines. I’m very attentive to each pet’s needs and personality, and I make it a priority to keep them feeling safe, happy, and well cared for while their owner is away.
“Verona was wonderful with our two kitties. She did everything we asked of her and provided pictures of the kitties during each visit. We would definitely recommend her for your pet sitting needs. We will be requesting her again”

About: I have grown up with dogs since I was born! I've walked and fed them for years. I currently have three dogs and a cat who I love very much. I have pet sit in the past as well as babysat! I am a college student who has class Monday-Thursday and works a restaurant job twice a week. However, I am happy to pet sit around those things! I can easily crate the pet if needed, take them on walks and potty breaks, play outdoors, feed and refill water when needed, and make them feel as comfortable as possible!
About: I have extensive experience and understanding of dogs of all ages from puppies to seniors. I am attentive to their needs and will always make the effort to have your babies feel comfortable and loved while you are away. I am a graduate student and not currently working so I will be home very often to spend time with the doggos! my schedule is very flexible. It is important to me to make the doggos feel comfortable and loved while they are at my home or I am in theirs. They can have free access to my balcony to sunbathe, go on frequent walks, or trips to the dog park!
About: In my previous living complex, we would hold a daily play time. As soon as I stepped onto the sidewalk, the doggos would immediately run to the edge of the grass before my own boys steps foot onto the grass. I have been given the name "Dr. Wendy" as I love to give massages to the doggos during their play time, especially the older pups. I am a pre-med and currently applying to medical school. Naturally I have a lot of love, compassion and care to give to humans and of course dogs! I have raised a loyal 130 lbs GSD from puppy age, a spunky and cuddly rescue Yorkie ,a ferocious Maltipoo and high energy mini Goldendoodle. I am currently transitioning career path and will have an open schedule until further notice. I am looking a remote job to provide services even after settling into a new position. When my boys were puppies, I would start off with a small section in our home and gradually introduce them to other areas as their potty training progressed. In terms of potty training, I kept a consistent schedule with feeding and recording their bathroom breaks (whether it was number 1 or 2.) After I learned their bathroom pattern and they were cleared by the vet to be introduced to grass, I would transition them to outside walk/potty breaks. At the same I would ween off the potty pads. Both my boys were house trained by 8-10 months. As a sitter, I always send a message if your pet went number 1 and/or 2. I usually like to make sure they go potty before I leave your pet alone.
About: I'm an active person, so your dogs would get walked very often with me. I live close to a gated dog park that I’ve had a 100% success rate with tiring dogs out at. I have close friends nearby with friendly and playful dogs that love to join us at the dog park if that’s something your dog(s) would be comfortable and interested it. My hours are very flexible, so no matter what I know we can work something out. Thank you for considering me and I look forward to hearing from you!! I wake up around 6 in the morning and take your pup for a walk! The time/difficulty of walk depends on your dog’s specific needs. Around 3:30/4 it’s time for another walk and then quality time. As you can see from my reviews, I’m a dependable person who has a passion for the care or animals. Let’s get in touch and you can see for yourself :•)
“Heather was wonderful! She took care of our 9yr old cat, Fluffy, who's normally very outgoing and friendly but not with strangers. By the end of her care they were good friends. We came home after 13 days and Fluffy was glad to see us all but he wasn't frantic and stressed. He usually is quite frantic if we leave him overnight alone without his dog. She also fed our tortoise Wilbur. We had Heather come twice a day for 30 minutes each. Will definitely ask her back!!”

Rancho Bernardo pet parents share their Rover experiences
We are very pleased with Krzysztof’s services. He was quick to respond to our very last minute request and accommodated our location that we needed. He was attentive, paid attention to details when visiting and listening to what we needed for Hula. He treated Hula like his own and always communicated with us. He’s amazing with animals and has such a caring spirit. From the moment he came, we could feel comfortable with him. Hula instantly loved him too. We trust our dog’s instincts! We will be booking with Krzysztof again!!
Alinah did a great job taking care of Tart. She was reliable, communicative, and very sweet with him. She kept me updated with pictures and videos and was very patient in helping with all the little requests I had. She was also very helpful and flexible with a last-minute check-in. I really appreciate the effort she put in and how kind she was with Tart. I would definitely book with her again!

Jamie is the best. She’s incredibly responsive. She also takes wonderful care of our two elderly kitties, who have somewhat complicated care instructions. We can leave for a week and have total peace of mind. Plus her photos are incredible - the pet photos we show our friends, are the ones from her visits!

Aaron really came in a pinch for our cats as their water was spilled and the litter filled up quicker than expected. He was kind, attentive, communicative, and made sure our place was back in good shape and the kiddos had a good treat. He also took the litterbag to the dumpster despite us saying he can just leave it in the bathroom, just so our place wouldn’t smell! Will definitely reach out to him again.
