About: I had 3 dogs since 2002 and raised them from puppy early age until their end of life. my last one died 1 year ago. I'm not ready to get another one but would love to give some love and attention to someone else's dogs. I'm newly retired and would love to spend more time around dogs to play with them, walk with them. I love to be outside as much weather permit. I have a fenced backyard and able to crate your dog if needed. If I have to go away for a short period like 1hr, your dog will be confined in a safe area (entire family room).

About: Hello I’m Nancy! I’m a recent college graduate from UCSD who would prefer more animal friends than humans. I joined Rover to meet more local furry neighbors and help out pet owners. About: My passion in life is taking care of Animals especially dogs and cats. I have grown up with dogs/cats for all of my life so 19 years so far. I knew since 10 I would do anything for my pets and I wanted to learn more so I started to do research and still to this day I’m learning the absolute most that I can so I can eventually become a dog trainer after schooling, than I’ll be able to start my dream Goal to start a rehabilitation center for dogs in need. About: Hello. I am a woman in her 50's who has had experience caring for small, medium, and large dogs. I have had all three throughout my lifetime from cocker spaniels, german shepherds, and currently a doberman pincher. I am a very active person, love taking walks around the multiple trails that are in Poway. I am comfortable giving pills and caring with dogs with recent surgerys etc. however, i am not comfortalbe giving injections. I have reliable transportation and can do 30 min- 1-hour walks and do overnight dog/home sitting. I am reliable and a trustworthy person and I will treat your dog and home as my own. I am fairly flexible with my schedule and can find a time that works for both parties.

I am also a plant lover with experience tending to indoor and outdoor plants. I am a full time Kindergarten teacher, but I live close enough to my school that I could easily come home to check on any animal boarding with me during the day, and I am free on evenings and weekends. I love on any animals in my care as if they were my own, giving them the best quality holistic care I can provide. My number one priority is their comfort and wellbeing and putting your mind at ease, as I know how difficult time away from beloved pets can be. I live in a 3rd floor apartment with no yard, but I’m right next to the complex dog park and am happy to drive dogs in my car to trails and/or other parks for exercise.

Since I’m retired and my wife works from home, there is almost always someone present, so your dog won’t be left alone for long periods.
