About: My family has fostered dogs for the guide dog foundation my whole life in addition to our family dog, so I’m used to managing a house full of dogs. When I moved into my own place I fostered dogs at my local shelter. These dogs ranged in age and typically came from difficult up bringings. I also have a history of pet sitting for my family members. I work from home from 7am - 4pm Monday through Friday. My work day is flexible which allows me to take care of pets during the day. I care and appreciate all animals. I ensure that your pet is taken cared of allowing for optimal bathroom breaks, lots of pets, and playtime.

About: I’ve grown up around dogs my whole life — from a goofy Boxer to two loving Labs and most recently a sweet Husky who passed a few months ago. I understand how important it is to find someone who treats your pets like family. While I’m new to Rover, I’ve spent over 15 years caring for dogs of all sizes and personalities. I’m currently between jobs, which gives me the flexibility to dedicate my time and attention to your furry friend. About: Hello my name is Stephanie and since I am no longer able to have a dog, would love to help you walk or take care of yours! I love all types of dogs and love to create new best friends through love and care, cuddles, walks and treats. I take “hot girl walks” daily, would love a partner in crime to do it with. I do have a full time job, work mornings so am able to do evening walks or anytime Monday and Thursdays (my days off) also open to sitting at any time When I did have a cute little dog (3 I total), I trained them from a puppies and continued training in making sure they were well behaved and cared for always. Dogs to me are more than pets and I would treat yours just the same.

About: I have been rescuing dogs since my grad school and taking care of them. I bathe, feed, walk them and even taken them camping. Currently one of mine is oldie and I have to give him medicine and I know how to do so. He also requires patient slow walks but I enjoy them too. I am retired now so I have plenty of time to take care of your pup and walk him. I have four rescues of my own. I can walk your dog and visit him at your home. I can feed him and take care of water during these hot days. I like long walks so if the pup likes walks we can both enjoy them. I can handle two well behave doggies at a time even larger size as I walk mine in pairs. I can play with him or take him to doggie park if he is dog friendly. I have four rescues of my own so boarding is not possible.

About: I have a flexible schedule with my current job and can walk or sit depending on need of clients and their pets. Walk, talk, fetch, or sit, I’m your gal! I work from home, in front of the computer, while the family is away at work and school. When I have guest they are allowed to hang out in the living room with me all day long wherever they please within sight. All pets are cared for, protected, and loved like children in our home. We currently only have a beta fish in our home and a 9 yrs old daughter who is the bestest pet lover of us all!

About: K9's big and small have been part of our family since I was a toddler. We grew up loving and caring for furry family members and I am comfortable with most breeds and sizes. My husband and I can take your dog on long walks or just stay in and cuddle. 4S Ranch is a very dog friendly neighborhood with many grassy parks and three off leash enclosed dog parks. My goal is to make sure that your dog feels at home, comfortable, secure and safe. I will update you on our adventures by sending you pictures and videos during your dog's stay with us, if you so wish. We will also take care of your home by watering plants, bringing mail in etc. My 12 year old Chihuahua x Miniature Pinscher, Rolo, and 11 year old Chihuahua x Dachshund, Wally are social and interact well with people and other dogs. They are both rather quiet and are starting to act like two old men now. A lot of sleeping, lounging and cuddling. They are walked twice a day and get a few shorter potty breaks in between. On weekends, we take them on outings beach walks if it is not too hot. My experience administering medication- We are very comfortable administering oral, topical and injectable medication. Home Environment- -Neat home in a safe neighborhood. -Baby gates are set up as double barriers at doors leading outside. -Cushiony pet beds inside and outside on the covered, walled in patio. -Many toys to play with. -We don't leave food out during the day. Your dog's sleeping arrangement- Wherever he or she prefers.

About: I am a lifelong animal lover with six years of experience. I volunteered at the SPCA of Monterey County for 124 hours and currently work at a local Animal Center in San Diego. I am comfortable with dogs of all breeds, ages, sizes, and energy levels. I treat every pup like my own family, ensuring that they get plenty of love, exercise, and attention while you are away. I currently work at an animal shelter/center. I work 8 hour shifts 4 days of the week (days vary). The other days I spend taking dog & house sitting jobs or babysitting jobs. During the days I am at the animal shelter I leave the house at 10am and return at 7pm. On days I am not at the shelter I stay at the house with your pup and the maximum time I’d be away is 3 hours a day (unless told otherwise by owner). Dogs will get daily walks, meals, and meds (if needed) as instructed by their owner. I try to include the dogs in my daily activities. For example, choosing to sit with them while I reply to work emails or answer work calls.

I have had all three throughout my lifetime from cocker spaniels, german shepherds, and currently a doberman pincher. I am a very active person, love taking walks around the multiple trails that are in Poway. I am comfortable giving pills and caring with dogs with recent surgerys etc. however, i am not comfortalbe giving injections. I have reliable transportation and can do 30 min- 1-hour walks and do overnight dog/home sitting. I am reliable and a trustworthy person and I will treat your dog and home as my own. I am fairly flexible with my schedule and can find a time that works for both parties.

Over my years petsitting, training and walking dogs I’ve established a routine to help dogs build confidence in new areas. I have experience with how dogs communicate and learn. If your interested in training your dog on long distance recall I can effectively and humanely train. My strength is building confidence in the shy types and also have worked well with high energy dogs (such as labs, golden retrievers and dutch shepherds). I’m currently training dogs 3 days a week and at home 4 days, so there will be lots of quality time with your puppy or adult dog. I like to keep them on a routine so they know what to expect everyday, yet also make occasional trips to the local park or trails in the neighborhood. I’ll give your loved one plenty of time to sniff around the house and get comfortable on their bed or dog friendly couch. I keep an eye on them to make sure they settle down and aren’t showing signs of nervousness. I’ll take your dog for a walk right away around the neighborhood to make sure they feel right at home and I’ll make use of their favorite toys to keep them active and enjoying lots of playtime as needed.
