About: Hi! I'm Anya (but I go by Sophie). I've been taking care of dogs and other animals for most of my life. I have experience with senior dogs, young dogs, shy dogs, energetic dogs, difficult-to-train dogs, girl dogs in heat, and in-desperate-need-of-grooming dogs. I have two dogs of my own, and I can't wait to meet yours! I am very available to be walking, giving attention to and keeping your dog company as I am not working full-time outside the home. I walk my own dogs every 4-6 hours, and they get to play in the yard in the mornings when it's still cool. At my home, the dogs only get to play in the yard while someone is home, and at night, they stay indoors. There are plenty of cozy dog beds for them, and they're also allowed on furniture. Both dogs at home are vaccinated, taken to the vet regularly, and given monthly heartworm prevention tablets.

If your interested in training your dog on long distance recall I can effectively and humanely train. My strength is building confidence in the shy types and also have worked well with high energy dogs (such as labs, golden retrievers and dutch shepherds). I look forward on building a good foundation for you and your dog, whether on walks, in training or at your home. I’m currently training dogs 3 days a week and at home 4 days, so there will be lots of quality time with your puppy or adult dog. I like to keep them on a routine so they know what to expect everyday, yet also make occasional trips to the local park or trails in the neighborhood. I’ll give your loved one plenty of time to sniff around the house and get comfortable on their bed or dog friendly couch. I keep an eye on them to make sure they settle down and aren’t showing signs of nervousness. I’ll take your dog for a walk right away around the neighborhood to make sure they feel right at home and I’ll make use of their favorite toys to keep them active and enjoying lots of playtime as needed.

About: I have extensive experience and understanding of dogs of all ages from puppies to seniors. I am attentive to their needs and will always make the effort to have your babies feel comfortable and loved while you are away. I am a graduate student and not currently working so I will be home very often to spend time with the doggos! my schedule is very flexible. It is important to me to make the doggos feel comfortable and loved while they are at my home or I am in theirs. They can have free access to my balcony to sunbathe, go on frequent walks, or trips to the dog park!
