When my boys were puppies, I would start off with a small section in our home and gradually introduce them to other areas as their potty training progressed. In terms of potty training, I kept a consistent schedule with feeding and recording their bathroom breaks (whether it was number 1 or 2.) After I learned their bathroom pattern and they were cleared by the vet to be introduced to grass, I would transition them to outside walk/potty breaks. At the same I would ween off the potty pads. Both my boys were house trained by 8-10 months. As a sitter, I always send a message if your pet went number 1 and/or 2. I usually like to make sure they go potty before I leave your pet alone.
Information Wendy M. would like to know about your pet
I would love to know any specifics about your pet prior to care to ensure that we are both comfortable and safe. I care for any pet as if they were my own and will fulfill any special request.
A typical day
I love long walks with my own boys. We often find a comfortable area to sit and soak in the sun. I believe in the importance of reinforcing commands with my boys and will do them same with your pet to keep them mentally stimulated.

Pet care experience
In my previous living complex, we would hold a daily play time. As soon as I stepped onto the sidewalk, the doggos would immediately run to the edge of the grass before my own boys steps foot onto the grass. I have been given the name "Dr. Wendy" as I love to give massages to the doggos during their play time, especially the older pups. I am a pre-med and currently applying to medical school. Naturally I have a lot of love, compassion and care to give to humans and of course dogs! I have raised a loyal 130 lbs GSD from puppy age, a spunky and cuddly rescue Yorkie ,a ferocious Maltipoo and high energy mini Goldendoodle.
Reviews

I hardly know where to begin in reviewing Wendy. A few sentences could never fully express how exceptional she is. Before my trip, I was very worried about leaving my dog, Gidget. She was recently diagnosed with diabetes and requires insulin injections twice a day. I honestly wondered if I would ever feel comfortable traveling again with her special healthcare needs. Wendy went far above and beyond anything I could have expected. She took the time to learn how to properly give Gidget her insulin injections and made sure they were administered on schedule every day. But her care didn’t stop there. While I was away, Wendy treated both my home and my dog as if they were her own. She brought my trash cans in and out when she noticed the neighborhood schedule, kept my home spotless, and sent multiple photos and updates every single day. She took Gidget on walks, gave her plenty of love and attention, and made sure she was happy and comfortable. When I returned home after nine days, my house was immaculate, and Gidget was clearly happy, healthy, and well cared for. In fact, I’m not entirely sure Gidget wanted me back! She absolutely adored having Wendy there. If you have a special-needs pet, or simply want complete peace of mind knowing that both your home and your beloved pet are in caring, capable hands, look no further than Wendy. She is trustworthy, compassionate, responsible, and truly one of a kind. I will absolutely be using Wendy again and again. She is an absolute gem, and I am so grateful to have found someone who allows me to travel without worrying about Gidget. I honestly cannot imagine a better pet sitter.

This was our first time using Wendy after having a regular walker for about a year. We moved to a new location and Wendy was prompt in her response and friendly during the meet and greet. For the walk, she was patient with Jaxson, allowing him to warm up to her before going on their adventure together. We will definitely use her again!

Wendy showed up for my last minute request and my dog came back happy and tired!! I’d hire her again. 🥰

Wendy is so great! Our little girl Ellie really loved her and had a great time. We will definitely be using her again when we need a sitter for our girl.
