11. Paige F.
About: I have been a dog sitter and walker on and off for 4 years. During the past year, I have been volunteering at the Helen WoodWard Animal Center in their boarding facility taking care of dogs. I am a recent college graduate and am looking for dog walking jobs during the week, including monday, wednesday and thursdays any time of the day. I ensure that each clients pet is taken care of and treated well, as well as understanding the clients needs. Keeping the animal close by myself during each walk is very important to me.
12. Lena A.
“I’ve been using Lena for a few months now to help with lunchtime walks and would highly recommend! I was able to peep in through the camera today (I promise she knows there’s a camera!) and my dog was so excited to see her! Poppy can take awhile to warm up to dog walkers, but Lena gets the full exposed belly asking for belly rubs and tippy taps to go on a walk.”
13. Brigit B.
“Bridget walked our two large dogs while we were out of town. She came over to meet them first and then gave us updates on how the walk/visit went. We wouldn’t hesitate to call her again next time we are out of town!”
14. Meghan F.
“Meghan Fisher loves animals. That is the most important attribute to start with. She is also very responsible, trustworthy and accountable. She's very well educated, played competitive sports through college and has been very active in community service over the years. Keeping pets, especially dogs, healthy and active is her passion.”
15. Cristina V.
“Cristina is one of kindest and compassionate animal-loving person I have ever met. She's warm, open, and friendly with us parents and loved by cats and dogs alike. She took care of my shy cat on many occasions for almost 10 years and gave my cat all the attention he needs. She takes greats pictures and keeps us informed every step of the way, certainly an excellent communicator every pet parent wants! Very trustworthy, I always felt comfortable having Cristina in my house, as she is dependable and never had to worry about leaving my baby alone.”
16. Koston A.
“Koston was terrific with our lab. He always arrived on time with a smile on his face and ready to go. Our dog adores Koston and can’t wait for the knock on our door!”
17. Aida N.
About: I have a cat, which I've had for 3 years. My sister, who I stay with often, has a Labradoodle. Mike, my husband, had family dogs at home & at his grandparents when growing up. They included Border Collies, German Shepherds, Yorkshire Terriers & mixes. Mike also has experience with DIY horse livery. I looked after our friend's house just outside London for 2 weeks this summer (2024), including their very lively & lovable Entlebucher puppy. I looked after a friend’s dog and home, for two weeks this summer, in London, England. When I mentioned how much we enjoyed the experience to another friend they suggested I check out other house/dog sitting options. This inspired me to pursue house sitting further. I hope to house sit to explore new locations while enjoying the company of dogs, making my travels even more meaningful. I love for traveling, so am unable to own a dog right now, which is why dog sitting would be a great way to enjoy both. This profile has been set up by me. I would be solely responsible for all pet care. My husband will be with me some of the time but he will never be alone with the animals. This statement is left at the request of Rover, I think because of vicarious liability. Either way we are a very responsible, professional couple who will follow the rules set by Rover & your house rules. When house sitting I would follow a dog's usual routine as much as possible. This is why I like a clear handover. This keeps disruption for the dog to a minimum, so they miss their parents as little as possible,
18. Jillian C.
“Jill has cat sat for me several times. She was always responsible, reliable and very kind and gentle with my cat. Sophie (my cat) isn't very friendly but she liked Jill.”
19. Kylie S.
“Kylie has been around animals her whole life and is very kind and gentle towards them. She grew up with several dogs in the family and has always had a nurturing instinct to care for their wellbeing. From grooming to feeding and exercising, she has shown that she truly cares for them whether they are her own, families, or friends.”
20. Jessica N.
About: I grew up taking care of our families cats and dogs and had my own pet sitting business when I was younger. Growing up we had dogs, cats, and rats. Currently, my fiancé and I have two cats and look forward to getting a dog when we live somewhere with more space. I am a bartender so I work varying hours and am available during most days. The hope is that my odd schedule is beneficial for those seeking assistance caring for their pets. I live in a one bedroom apartment with two cats so I could potentially care for older or lower energy dogs that get along with cats within my own home. I do not have a yard or patio though so it would be preferred that I care for your pets at your own home. I am happy to care for your pet how you see fit. One thing all pets will receive is a whole lot of love and pets :)
