“Debbie is absolutely a gem! She was so open to walking Cuzco for me, he felt comfortable with her. She kept up in communication with me while I was away. She went above and beyond for him, and I’m so grateful!”

About: I grew up with dogs and have taken care of dogs of all sizes for neighbors, family and friends. I can help with feeding, walks, baths, brushing, dental care, etc. I have a hybrid work schedule, so I can take care of your dogs on the weekends and for shorter periods during the week. I'm happy to discuss with you how much care and play time you would like each day for your pups! I have experience working with anxious dogs and puppies. I want your pups to feel as comfortable as possible while you're away. Please let me know if you have any specific requests for your dogs' comfort and safety.
“Funny coincidence, I actually went to school with Steve years ago — great to reconnect here and even better to see how dedicated he is to caring for my Standard Poddle! Steve is punctual, reliable, and trustworthy. Definitely recommend Steve.”

“Chunli helped our daughter with the dogs again, when we had to travel for work. She is always flexible and communicates well and the dogs and our daughter love her.”

About: Animals have always been a huge part of my life! I grew up with six cats and two dogs, so I learned early how to read body language, respect boundaries, and adapt to different temperaments. I'm just as comfortable tiring out a high energy pup on a long beach walk as I am giving a shy cat the quiet, patient presence they need. I'm experienced with feeding routines, administering medications, and caring for multiple pets at once. You'll always get updates and photos, because I know peace of mind matters as much as great care. I’m active and love getting outside for long walks, playtime, and keeping dogs engaged. At the same time, I’m just as happy providing a calm, cozy presence for cats or more relaxed pets. I’m also comfortable caring for multiple pets, following feeding routines, and handling medications if needed. I take pride in being dependable and communicative, and I’m always happy to send updates and photos so you can feel at ease while you’re away. My goal is to make sure your pet feels safe, happy, and loved the entire time you’re gone. I work full-time during the day and am available after 5 PM on weekdays, with flexible weekend availability. I genuinely enjoy staying active, so fitting walks and visits into my routine is a pleasure, not an obligation. I care for pets in their own homes, following your routines closely so everything feels familiar. I live near the beach in a very walkable neighborhood, no yard, but plenty of sniff-heavy, stimulating walks tailored to your dog's energy level. I treat every home with the same respect I'd want in mine: doors locked, counters wiped, and your pet settled and content when you return. I have experience dog sitting and walking, and I treat every home with respect and care, keeping things clean and consistent so owners can feel completely at ease.
“This is our first time using Natalyia. We are so happy with her service. She walked our golden retriever, I was so surprised our golden really enjoyed his walks with her. He is a very anxious dog and it takes a lot to calm him . However we were surprised how quickly he got adjusted with her and was looking forward to his walks each and every time. Natalyia is very calm, patient and completely remove all his anxiety and fears.”

“I’ve been using Patricia for a few months now, and will continue to! My dog, Poppy, is always so excited to see Patricia on the days she walks her. And Patricia is always quick to respond and be flexible with my booking requests.”

About: I am an animal lover that is passionate about caring for all animals, specifically rescue animals and animals that may require unique behavioral support or have special needs. My own dog is highly reactive, so I have a lot of experience with handling and caring for reactive dogs. I treat and love every animal as my own and am a very responsible and reliable caregiver. I work as a school psychologist, so I typically care for animals more over the summer! Over the summer, I am available throughout the day for walks or drop in services. I am very flexible both week days and weekends, check my calendar to see if I’m available! I do not offer in-home pet care due to the needs of my own pets. However, I am a very responsible and respectful caregiver when entering client homes.
About: 🔔 Owners, please read entire profile, as it contains very important information about what to expect, guidelines and requirements for your dogs stay! ***Drop off and Pick up windows must be no longer than 30 minutes*** I spent 10 years managing a large property in the Rancho Santa Fe area that had multiple breeds, sizes and ages of dogs. As part of my many managerial duties I oversaw the personal care, vet appointments and individual schedules of all of these beloved family pets. They were all an absolute joy and I’m happy to be able to offer the same level of care to your furry family members as well. ✔️New to Rover? Enjoy $20 off of your first stay! I regularly step away from my computer to take breaks, so taking a furry friend out for a walk is an added bonus! I will host up to 2 pets a night, I have separate gated areas in my home to ensure food schedules are calm and peaceful while keeping everyone happy as they’re being slowly integrated with one another, everyone is safe and secure at all times. All pets cared for must be potty trained, spayed/neutered, have absolutely no aggression issues towards other animals or people, are not constant barkers or cry and bark due to separation anxiety. ***Aggression issues and separation anxiety of any kind are non-negotiable.*** If your pet has any level of this type of behavior, it’s not the right fit for my home. It’s very important to maintain a calm, peaceful and safe environment for everyone sharing the space. For overnight boarding, pets will sleep downstairs in the main living room area on their own bed/crate, pets will not be permitted to be on furniture or in the upstairs bedroom areas. VERY IMPORTANT: Also, please make sure that all personal care, vet and emergency contact info is up to date on your pets profile as well. Vet and Emergency contact info are required before I will accept a booking.

About: I have special skills in senior care and animals who need special care post surgery. I have about 3 dogs and 1 cat who are all seniors. The first dog I adopted millie was on the older side and as the years gone by I have learned and educated myself on how to properly care for senior dogs, and the most important thing I have learned is patience is key. My oldest dog millie also had multiple surgeries due to cancerous tumor that spread. Thankfully she is fine but after many surgeries I have learned the skills on how to properly take care of dogs post surgery. I also have lots of experience with kittens from my time volunteer at a feline rescue. I am a UCLA student who does this work during my summer break. I am available from beginning of june-end of september. I will also be working a job that are about 5.30 hours each shift 4 days a week. Depending on exactly what day of the week you need I can work around your schedule. My other summer job is very flexible however my shifts are usually at night. Depending on what you need I can be very flexible so we can also talk more in detail. I do not offer services for pets to stay at my home however I do travel to my clients homes. When taking care of my clients pets I make sure to prioritize safety, routine, be attentive, and cleanliness. I also make sure that all animals receive their walks and all physical activity required.
About: I’ve had four dogs back in my home state! Taking care of dogs is a joy. Bonus points for the cute ones, they love me! I’m current working part time doing private chef work and have some time and lots of energy to spend with your pup on trails and more! Would love to have a dog myself when my lifestyle permits, for now, I get to enjoy yours… win win ☺️🎾 Plenty of pavement and park land in this beautiful city! Will ensure your dog is hydrated and gets plenty of playtime while under my care!

“Trey did a wonderful job with our two dogs. We adopted our oldest dog when he was over a year old. He had suffered some trauma and has severe anxiety around men he does not know. While he has come a long way under our care, now at 4 years old it's still an issue he has. But Trey went above and beyond, visiting approximately four times before our trip departure to ensure that our Shaq would gain his trust. Our puppy absolutely loved Trey and his family right away, and we were able to travel with peace of mind knowing that our dogs would get their exercise on a daily basis. Trey also sent daily updates, pictures and short videos regarding each of their walks. Would hire him again. He did a great job!”

Carmel Valley dog parents share their Rover experiences
My German Shepherd can be very picky as to who he will be with. He warmed up to Chunli right away. She was fantastic with him. She is very punctual and provided a detailed report after each walk. We will definitely use her again when we go on vacation later this summer. I highly recommend her.
Gabi is absolutely wonderful caring for our pets. She walks our dog, Baby J, and also keeps an eye on our two cats, and we always feel completely at ease knowing they are in her care. Baby J clearly adores her, and it’s obvious that Gabi genuinely loves animals and treats them like her own. She is dependable, communicative, and attentive to the little details that matter. It’s such a relief to have someone we trust who takes such excellent care of our pets. I highly recommend Gabi to anyone looking for a reliable and caring pet sitter or dog walker.

Veronika did amazing job taking care of my two dogs, she was prompt and on time , very responsive, and dogs were very happy. I will be using Veronika for walking now all the time. She can also stay at my house next time I am out of town. I highly recommend Veronika’s services.

I can’t say enough good things about Filippo! My Goldendoodle was so ecstatic every time Filippo picked him up—it honestly said everything. You can tell my baby boy truly likes him and feels completely safe with him. That kind of trust means the world to me. Filippo clearly has a natural connection with dogs. I really feel like I found a gem in him and wouldn’t trust my Rei with anyone else.
