About: I have taken care of dogs and cats for as long as I can remember. I live right near a dog park, and love taking the dogs there on my walks. I also do boarding, sitting, and daycare. I am home full time and my partner is often home, so we have plenty of time to love on your best friend! We love taking them to the dog park across the street. We love boarding dogs in our home. Since we can’t commit to getting our own dog, it is our passion to spend time with other dogs!

About: I used to volunteer at the Let Them Be Little rescues where I was trained how to properly care for cats, how to deep clean litter boxes, and how to administer asthma medication. One of our black kitties had asthma so it was a great opportunity for me to learn. I have also been a cat owner since the age of 4 and have owned a cat ever since then. I have experienced many different cats throughout my life and am educated on the different types of breeds.

About: I have had dogs all my life and have worked in dog rescue for 3 years doing foster care, screening and medical care and coordination. I have a home with a secure yard and will supervise your dog at all times. I will accept dogs that are 22 lbs and under and get along well with other dogs. I am 90% retired and am home most of the time. I am available most days and evenings. My resident dog is a 12lb 6 yr old Maltese mix. I have a house in Carmel Valley with a secure fenced yard . Dogs will always be supervised closely when outside. I have plenty of options for your dog to play and chill in the house. They can lounge on the couches or dog beds. The dog is never crated unless they desire it and enjoy it as a safe space.
“I needed a place for my fur baby to stay while my housekeepers were cleaning and I contacted Ruda. He responded right away and was able to provide daycare for my dog with 24 hour notice. You can tell Ruda is a "dog person" and he took very good care of my boy and took him on walks even though he didn't have a very long stay at his home. Drop off and pick up was super easy too. Thanks Ruda! We will be coming back again.”
“I usually don’t like to leave my dog with strangers but I’m so glad someone like Claire is able to take care of my boy, and show him love. Claire is very loving and responsive. I’d definitely take any pet to her before anyone else on this app. I can tell my dog loves going over there with her!”

“Kimberly is such a sweetie and took really good care of our Dog. He really enjoyed playing in her backyard with her 2 dogs. We will definitely use Kimberly again!”

About: Dog owner I have a 7 year old dog that gets along with other dogs. Also 2 young kids so pup has to be good with kids. I am home so will be able to walk and feed dogs as frequently as necessary. I typically walk my dog 1x / day . I walk and feed the pets and the kids like to interact with the dogs too. We have a fenced in backyard that dogs love to play in.
About: Wondering why my rate might be different than another sitter’s? Rover takes a huge portion of the price you see listed. Please feel free to message me about services i can provide or waive; and I am more than willing to negotiate a fair price depending on the level of care your pup needs! I am able to provide a luxury boarding service at a beautiful, large, home with a massive pet safe backyard! We even have a pool if your pup loves to swim. I provide basic training (unless you prefer I don’t!) and I have a bachelors in art from a prestigious university- so I will provide as many photos and videos as you’d like for free- and can also offer photo shoot and portrait painting (either digital or traditional) services, which can be great for getting your pup at their most comfortable when meeting a photographer or painter! I can provide one on one time, I never leave dogs alone unless requested, and I provide your dog all the cuddles and playtime they want! Since it can be better for both me and you, we can negotiate rates for all services based on your preferences- I won’t ask you to pay for something your pup wouldn’t benefit from! I am American Red cross Cat and Dog First Aid certified, updated very recently. I’ve taken care of my family pets since I was four years old, and got my first dog of my own, a teacup yorkie named Sophie, who was my support dog when I was around 13 years old. Ever since then I’ve had a wonderful support dog named Tommy, and now I currently am training my dog Stevie and my puppy, Chloe to be psychiatric service dogs, working with a professional trainer who thinks I’m a natural! I am a great trainer and I am more than happy to offer that service if you’d like, but i’m not a certified trainer yet! I know pet first aid and cpr. I also had another puppy who lived for just under a year, who passed during a routine anesthesia procedure, which was devastating, but now I know she lives on in my puppy Chloe. I am disabled (chronic lower back pain) but i have mobility aids, can walk around your home/my home unaided, can carry small dogs if requested, and can take your pup out as many times as you’d like. I have a HUGE backyard with plenty of grass, and so I can play with the pups/be outside with them as much as you’d like! Currently in the house here I have Stevie and Chloe, but they can be crated/in a separate part of the house as much as you’d like. I will have one of my parents home so they can keep them 100% completely out of sight if that’s your preference! I’m looking to become a dogsitter because, honestly, dogs are my favorite, and i love connecting with dogs with positive reinforcement and love! I’m so beyond excited for the opportunity to meet your dogs! (And maybe even paint them for you, too!) I currently work remotely part time so i’ll be home all day and all night, and i make my own hours so I can take pretty much any job, any time, for any length of time. When i’m at home without any other pups here, I take care of my dogs Stevie and Chloe full time. They sleep with me (unless you’d rather your pup sleep up here!) so have special puppy guards on the bed so they don’t accidentally fall off while they sleep up here ever! If you’d like, i can keep my dogs with one of my parents so your pups don’t interact. I have a big fenced yard that not even the smallest puppy could get out from! I have two extremely well behaved soon to be service dogs that i’m currently training, They are very small Yorkies, Stevie is 6 years old and about 7 pounds, and Chloe is 5 months and about 2.5 pounds. They can be involved as much or as little as you prefer, but all dogs in our home need to be fully vaccinated please. In your home, I would do everything a dog needs, I’d make sure water is full and available 24/7, i’d take your pups out for playing/potty breaks as often as you’d prefer, i’d feed them and give medication if needed (i have lots of experience giving puppies, adult, and senior dogs medications!) If you let me know your preferences, i’m sure i can treat your dog with so much care and love, and help them feel their routines aren’t too different then they are with you, if that’s your preference! And I LOVE dog cuddles, and cat cuddles! Also, my brother is a vet tech that works at Rancho Bernardo Vetrinary Clinic so I have him, my vet, and my trusted vet emergency hospital all on speed dial, just in case! If needed I can hop in a car and take your pups to the park, the vet, the er, to get groomed, etc. (I will never put your dog in my car without consent, of course!!)

“Caitlin was great! She was very flexible with drop off and pick up times when I needed a last minute sitter. Her calm energy was perfect for my puppy. I would definitely book again. Thank you!”

“sophie was very kind and communicative throughout the process! she recieved my daisy with open arms and took her on walks, sent pictures throughout and even shared her own dogs food with our girl. will be returning to sophie :)”

About: Animals have always been a huge part of my life! I grew up with six cats and two dogs, so I learned early how to read body language, respect boundaries, and adapt to different temperaments. I'm just as comfortable tiring out a high energy pup on a long beach walk as I am giving a shy cat the quiet, patient presence they need. I'm experienced with feeding routines, administering medications, and caring for multiple pets at once. You'll always get updates and photos, because I know peace of mind matters as much as great care. I’m active and love getting outside for long walks, playtime, and keeping dogs engaged. At the same time, I’m just as happy providing a calm, cozy presence for cats or more relaxed pets. I’m also comfortable caring for multiple pets, following feeding routines, and handling medications if needed. I take pride in being dependable and communicative, and I’m always happy to send updates and photos so you can feel at ease while you’re away. My goal is to make sure your pet feels safe, happy, and loved the entire time you’re gone. I work full-time during the day and am available after 5 PM on weekdays, with flexible weekend availability. I genuinely enjoy staying active, so fitting walks and visits into my routine is a pleasure, not an obligation. I care for pets in their own homes, following your routines closely so everything feels familiar. I live near the beach in a very walkable neighborhood, no yard, but plenty of sniff-heavy, stimulating walks tailored to your dog's energy level. I treat every home with the same respect I'd want in mine: doors locked, counters wiped, and your pet settled and content when you return. I have experience dog sitting and walking, and I treat every home with respect and care, keeping things clean and consistent so owners can feel completely at ease.
About: I grew up with dogs and have taken care of dogs of all sizes for neighbors, family and friends. I can help with feeding, walks, baths, brushing, dental care, etc. I have a hybrid work schedule, so I can take care of your dogs on the weekends and for shorter periods during the week. I'm happy to discuss with you how much care and play time you would like each day for your pups! I have experience working with anxious dogs and puppies. I want your pups to feel as comfortable as possible while you're away. Please let me know if you have any specific requests for your dogs' comfort and safety.
“This is our first time using Natalyia. We are so happy with her service. She walked our golden retriever, I was so surprised our golden really enjoyed his walks with her. He is a very anxious dog and it takes a lot to calm him . However we were surprised how quickly he got adjusted with her and was looking forward to his walks each and every time. Natalyia is very calm, patient and completely remove all his anxiety and fears.”

“Patty is so thoughtful in taking care of my dogs and making sure they have a great walking experience. She is always very communicative as well which is much appreciated.”

“Very happy with our experience. Our dog had a great time with Ryan's family. Ryan was easy to communicate with and he was very accommodating when our travel plans changed unexpectedly at the last minute and we had to extend the boarding for a few days.”

“Ehda took wonderful care of my dog, Snowy, over the Christmas and New Year break. She has such a warm and kind personality, which immediately put me at ease. Snowy was clearly very well cared for and happy during his stay. Her apartment was also extremely clean and well maintained, reflecting the high level of care she provides. This will definitely be my go-to place for Snowy during future vacations, and I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy and attentive pet sitter.”

“thank you, Anna for your care of Sadie! We got great uodates with photos, all instructions were followed, and everything went very smooth! Sadie seems excited to go back and enjoy the big yard again :)”

“We booked with Patricia and were very happy with her service in taking care of our special Lance. Patricia has a beautiful, clean home and it was clear from the start that she takes great care of her own dog and those that stay with her. Patricia was responsive and shared some great pictures of Lance during his overnight stay. We would happily book with Patricia again in the future 😊 🐾”

“My puppy came home cleaner than ever, well-behaved, and with just the right amount of energy! Cindy and Todd sent me the cutest photos and videos of our dogs together during the stay too. 10/10 would board with them again!”

“Having the peace of mind knowing our sensitive pup Sophie was in kind and patient hands is invaluable. Thank you, Cori and Chris for taking such good care of our girl. 🐶”

“Julia was a fantastic sitter for my baby Kimchi! She sent multiple photos + updates throughout my pets stay, fed her medicine everyday, and her pup Yuki was so gentle and patient with Kimchi. Her place is very secure, so I felt safe having her there. She also takes Kimchi on walks which not all sitters do. And lastly Kimchi has always been an anxious dog who doesn’t acclimate well in new settings, and while she still gets afraid of Julia’s roommates, she felt safe and calm with Julia right off the bat. Would definitely recommend!”

“Beverly is really a great sitter. She sent us lots of pictures, videos, messages everyday. We really love all these! She walked our dogs several times a day. Our dogs are very happy during the whole stay. I think after they get home, they start to miss Beverly and Sophie.. Definitely hope my dogs can have chance to visit Beverly and her dogs again.”

“Our dog Zoey, loves Alix and her family...and so do we. I can tell that she is well taken care of when Alix sends me videos and pictures of Zoey snuggling with her daughter. She gets more than enough attention and love.”
“The most amazing service i could ever have imagined! The best updated with photos and videos and they really fell in love with our dogs! Would use them again in a heartbeat! Very grateful!”

“I’ve used Rover in the past but let me tell you I would highly recommend Gelare E. To anyone who’s looking for someone to watch their fur babies. Never in my life had someone loved and cared for our spirit like this beautiful family. They are above a 10 plus. I would never have no one but Gelare to watch my fur babies. I can’t say enough about the love and care they have for Animals. When I say trust me I mean that from my heart. They are the best fur babies sitters in the world to me. If I could give them the world for taking care of our boy spirit! I would. They are extra extra special dog sitters. Thank you God for beautiful animal lovers like this family ❤️🥰🙏🩷😇”

“Nina was fantastic. She cared for Winnie while we took a short vacation like she was her own dog. Winnie got regular walks and spent time sunning herself on the balcony. Winnie enjoyed Nina's quiet and clean condo., with a view of lake. We would definitely use Nina's services in the future. My daughter really appreciated the many pictures Nina sent us. Nina was also very responsive whenever we contacted her to check in on Winnie's status. Overall, this was a great experience.”

“Brooke went above and beyond for our pups over the holidays! We feel so lucky to have found her. We have two senior dogs that typically are sat at our house, but had to find somewhere else for them to stay this year and Brooke made them feel right at home. They loved staying with her. She also sent a ton of photos and videos which we appreciated so much. Could not recommend her more!!”

“Margaret was an amazing care taker of our 2 dogs while we were out of the country. She kept us informed with pictures and updates daily. She even scheduled several playdates with another dog which made them smile. I would highly recommend her to watch your dogs. We will use her again. We were so grateful to find her on short notice.”
