About: I had a great childhood dog named Sam that I had at my side every moment I was at home. Unfortunately he passed while I was at college. I swore I could never love a dog like I loved Sam so resisted another until my daughter begged for a pet. We adopted Athena from Tijuana at approximately two years old and she was with us for 15 years. She was our third daughter! She passed naturally in January of 2022 and we were heartbroken. It has taken a bit to walk the trails again. But we love on our grand dogs and interact with friend’s and neighbor’s dogs. We have a lot on our plates and cannot have a permanent pet at this time but now my husband and I are ready and open to taking the best care of dogs whose parents have to be away. I work from home managing rental properties. My work load and being away varies depending on issues that may arise. I love being outside, and playing with dogs ranks very high on my list of fun things to do! I can visit a pet owners home and feed and interact with their dog, letting them out or walking depending on the instructions given. At my home I can also interact with the dog and walk them or take them to a dog park. This really depends on the need of the pet and the preference of the client

About: I grew up always having pets, so I feel confident in taking care of animals and recognizing signs of concern. I have listed my years of experience as 3, as those are my independent years of owning my own animals. I lived on a ranch for 5 years in Reno growing up, working with horses, goats, chickens and more! I think pet-care is a great fit for my lifestyle as I’m currently in college and deciding when I want to work and where suits my schedule. Although I do not provide services at my home due to my own pets, I can ensure based on what service you need I can cater to whatever you need including, cleaning up after your pet, ample time outside, feeding, cleaning litter etc. I’m happy to help.
