About: I’ve cared for dogs since I was young and currently have a 4-year-old Samoyed. I’m experienced with energetic breeds, daily exercise, and giving dogs loving attention. I’m available during the week and weekends for walks or drop-ins. Flexible scheduling means your dog gets reliable care, exercise, and attention whenever you need it. In your home, I follow your dog’s routine to keep them comfortable and happy. Walks, playtime, meals, and cuddles are always provided with care and attention.
About: Caring for dogs has always been second nature to me since I've grown up with them my whole life. I’ve raised multiple pups from their first tail wags to their golden years, and I currently share my life with two of my own. This isn’t just a job for me — it’s a genuine passion. Every dog I care for is treated like family, receiving the same personalized love, patience, and attention I give my own. What truly sets me apart is my intuitive approach to each dog’s personality and needs. Whether it’s helping a nervous pup feel safe, engaging an energetic dog with play and structure, or providing extra comfort and gentle care to seniors, I adapt with heart and experience. Your pet’s happiness and well-being are always my top priority — and you can rest easy knowing they’re in loving, capable hands. Right now, I have a flexible schedule since I am in medical school and can study at home, which gives me the perfect opportunity to dedicate my time to your pet. Being around pets brings me joy, and it’s incredibly fulfilling to provide them with the love, attention, and care they deserve. In my home, your dog will be welcomed into a safe, loving, and well-managed environment. I live in an house with two friendly dogs — one small and one medium-sized — who love to socialize and play. I always do a slow, supervised introduction to make sure everyone feels comfortable. I also have crates and indoor fencing available to provide space or separation if needed, so your pup’s safety and comfort are always a priority. I’m also flexible and happy to care for pets in their own homes. Some dogs feel most at ease in their familiar space, and I do everything I can to keep their routine consistent — from feeding schedules to playtime and snuggles. Whether I’m hosting or visiting, I treat every dog with the same level of love, attention, and respect I give my own.

About: I love dogs and I am a reliable, caring, physically active, and trustworthy dog-walker and sitter. My mom adopted a pug I used to walk on Rover since the owner could sadly no longer keep him. I have been doing this on and off for the last few years depending on my schedule. My experiences include walking and caring for Pugsly, my cousin’s Mini Aussie, my coworker’s lab mix, a doodle, among others. I don’t have a dog of my own so I love walking other dogs in the neighborhood. I prefer and feel most comfortable with small to medium-sized dogs. I cannot currently board dogs but I have the availability to house-sit. I am attentive to each dog owner’s needs and preferences. I aim to provide a meaningful and positive experience for both you and your dog. I currently have availability Monday-Friday from 8 am to 8 pm and have a flexible schedule. I am also available to walk dogs on the weekends when needed. I can provide references upon request. I can take your dog out two to three times a day. I am not currently hosting dogs at home. I love to play with them and cuddle with them and am very attentive to specific needs and requests you may have. I am responsible and detail-oriented and can tailor the experience to you and your dog’s needs.

About: Hello! I I am a dog lover through and through. I have 2 dogs, one an australian shepherd and a corgi so I have plenty experience working with high energy dogs. I would love to watch, walk and care your dog(s) so you can be able doing what you got to do. I currently work part-time overnights so I have time during the day and my nights off to provide any services such as dog sitting, walking and check-ins. About: Hi!! I’ve had dogs since I was 2 years old and was the main caretaker growing up for our large and small dogs. I have had 2 dogs as an adult and am familiar with rescues that are more sensitive along with high energy breeds! :) I’m here for check ins or walks while your furry babe is at home and needing some TLC!❤️ I work from home so I’m able to step away for a walk or check in as needed without a problem! I tend to my fur kids throughout the day easily so helping out some fellow fur owners would be awesome! I am happy to care for your pet in my home if they get along with other dogs and are ok around cats! Prefer crate trained if possible but likely will be out of crate most the time. I work from home and would only leave them to exercise.
About: I've had a variety of pets since I was little. I understand animals' body language and am well-adverse to many unique pet personalities and behaviors. I have experience working with reactive dogs, hyper-activity, Deaf and blind animals (my dog is Deaf and knows sign language!), medication and illness with pets, and more. I'm also understanding of different needs or specific routines to be followed for pets to feel comfortable. Whether your pup needs a walk and the bearded dragon needs to be fed, or the cat needs a clean litter box and the fish tank needs a skim, I'm here for you and all your fur (or scale) babies! My schedule is flexible currently. I recently moved back home to San Diego and have plenty of availability. I do have two large dogs of my own as well as a cat and will need to take care of them as well if house-sitting. I am aware of animals' body language and their need for routine. I will respect this and their specific needs (hand-signals, cue words, walking preferences, etc.). I can co-exist from a distance or offer lots of snuggles and playtime depending on your pets preferences. I can provide baths and maintain training if you're working on house training or pulling while walking.
About: Hi there! I’m Christy, and dogs have always been a huge part of my life. Growing up, I had a chihuahua and a pug/beagle mix, and now I share my home with a friendly cat and a 100-pound Tibetan Mastiff who’s kind, gentle, and playful. I’m dedicated to giving your pet the same love, care, and attention I give my own. I live in a cozy two-bedroom apartment with a dog park right in the community, so your pup will enjoy plenty of walks and playtime. I’m reliable, communicative, and experienced with medications and unique routines. Whether you need overnight stays or just some extra playtime for your furry friend, I’m here to help! I currently work part time at the farmers market selling dog food, so I’ll have plenty of time caring for your baby! I take my dog on 2-3 walks a day at the community dog park, so just let me know if your baby needs more talks than that. Our cat, Suess, gets along with all dogs. He typically minds his own business. I keep him separated during feeding time. My gentle giant, Nala, gets along with all dogs. I have a large crate for your baby if they need to be crated at night time or when we need to run an errand. I am comfortable giving meds and any other care your baby needs.
“First time we had Tyler watch/walk our fur babies and we couldn’t be happier. They were well taken care of, and we felt comfortable with the knowledge he had regarding pets in general. We would book him again in the future”
“Shelly was amazing! She came to meet Joey and Blue right away and they immediately fell in love with her! Shelly kept me posted with messages and pictures! I did not worry one moment about my pups my entire vacation:)”

About: I have taken care of dogs and cats of my own and of friends and family since I was a small child. I have worked with many different cats and dogs of all different breeds, shapes, sizes, and I am currently on summer break from medical school, so my schedule is very flexible! As long as I have some advanced notice, I can probably make most times work. Just send me a message! If boarding in my home, your pet will be treated like a member of my family! If in your home, I will be very patient with your pet and make sure they are comfortable with me. I will treat your pet and your home with great care so you have a relaxed setting to come home to!
About: I am always used to being around animals! back in my hometown i live on a ranch with many farm animals. animals like goats, chickens, horses, cats, and yes.. dogs! i would help take care of all when i was living back home but because i go to SDSU, i now live in San Diego! i do dog sit for family back home and i sometimes do dog sit for 3-7 days ! About: Hi everyone! My name is Kim and I have over 5 year of experience taking care of dogs and have had my cat for over 2 years + 3 dogs. These experiences have taught me how to properly take care of these special animals and I will do my absolute best to accommodate any of their needs. I started volunteering dog sitting for my friends and I never realized I would even like it this much but I really do. They are so much fun. I would often take them to dog beach and to dog parks. Drive them around so that they could enjoy the fresh breeze in their face while the windows are rolled down. They always look so happy and excited, which brings a smile to my face. Past breeds I have taken care of are; shih Tzu’s, Yorkies, Maltese mix, and a Goldendoodle ❤️ But I’m open to sitting any breed and any size. I have a very flexible schedule. I may tend to a few social events if I go out but I’m never gone more than 3-4 hours at a time. I follow the pet owner’s instruction when it comes to caring their pet(s). I’m very affectionate and love cuddling. I’ll respect your pet’s boundaries if they’re not into this and will 100% put my all into giving them my care, time and attention.
“Hana is amazing! I have been extremely scatterbrained and she’s been very understanding and worked with me when I messed up our walking schedule. She is a true dog whisperer and I trust her with our (sometimes very angry) 13 year old husky. She is very patient with him (and me) and has been a real lifesaver for dog walking on our busy 15 hour days!”

About: I'm a 34-year-old who's been living the "dog mom life" since the age of 7. Over the years I've had the joy of caring for every type of pup you can imagine: the small and mighty who think they're Great Danes, gentle giants who believe they're lap dogs, energetic puppies who haven't discovered the concept of "inside voice," and wise seniors who've mastered the art of the guilt-inducing stare. Each one has stolen a piece of my heart. Friends, neighbors, and complete strangers have trusted me with their four-legged family members, and I don't take that responsibility lightly. Countless times I've been told I'm an "Incredible dog mom" (My own pup, who I had to say goodbye to in 2024, was known for his sweet, gentle, good behavior – though between you and me, we had our "selective hearing" moments). I genuinely believe dogs are the best creatures to grace this planet. I live for adventures with dogs – whether that's a hike, dog beach, or just discovering the most interesting smell on the block. What I find most rewarding is connecting with pups who are typically shy or selective about their humans. I can't tell you how many times I've heard, "My dog doesn't usually like strangers, but..." There's something magical about that moment when a nervous pup decides you’re a good person – it's better than any compliment I've ever received. I'm here for all your dog care needs: last-minute walks when life gets crazy, boarding when you're away, or those epic adventures your four-legged family member has been dreaming about. I'd love the chance to show you (and more importantly, your pup) that I'm exactly the kind of human your dog deserves. After all, dogs have excellent judgment – and I'm confident yours will approve of me! I work remotely and have a pretty flexible schedule to give your pup the love, exercise, and attention it wants and needs. I maintain a pretty active lifestyle and love to incorporate doggy exercise into that. I believe every dog is unique: so I adapt my care to match your pup’s specific routine and needs. Whether your dog is crate-trained, roams free in the house, has medication schedules, or special dietary requirements, I follow your established routine to keep them feeling comfortable and secure. I understand that consistency is key and I’ll stick to their usual feeding times, walk schedules, and house rules.
About: We are a team! You get both of us! lol We both grew up with dogs and Vannessa also grew up with a cat. We affectionately refer to all dogs of all ages as puppies. We really want a dog but we can’t yet commit to the life they deserve so as long as their human and the puppy allow us to love on them, we gratefully do so! We are very attentive, follow common sense and all the house rules provided for the pup or pups (and kitties if there are any), we send pictures and videos, and provide updates. We love your puppies (and kitties if there are any) as if they were our own. You can have the peace of mind and enjoy your difficult time away from them knowing they are being really well taken care of! To us, pets are family, best friends; special and important. We treat them with the utmost love, care, attention, and respect. We genuinely love them. For first time sitting, we always do a meet and greet before accepting any bookings. This way we can confirm we are all a good fit for each other. If we all agree we are, we also like to do another meet and greet right before the housesitting time so your pups (and kitties if there are any) can get our scent again so they can remember us and feel safe when we go pet sit them. During meet and greets we go over what you need and ask that you write it all down as well for the pet sitting dates. For walks and drop-ins, we also do an initial meet and greet before accepting any bookings for the same reasons. Whatever questions you may have, please ask! We’re very open communicators Our schedule is fairly flexible. Rest assured once you’ve confirmed dates and times with us, we will be there. Even though it hasn’t happened but IF we cannot make it (which would be for an emergency or something urgent like a Doctor’s appointment that can’t work around that time) we give you as much notice as we possibly can. We only care for pets at your home. We are not allowed to have pets at our apartment. As far as how we care for your pets, always lovingly. Whether you have a strict routine for them, casual schedule, or just follow their lead—we do what you ask of us. If there is something we don’t feel comfortable with, we communicate with you and you let us know how you want to proceed. It’s really important to us we all communicate well with each other.
Kearny Mesa dog parents share their Rover experiences
Jacqueline was wonderful with my dogs! Always on time, super friendly, and easy to communicate with. My pups absolutely loved her and were always excited to see her. It gave me peace of mind knowing they were in such caring hands. I would happily recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable and kind dog walker.

Miranda has been absolutely amazing with my young Australian Shepherd, who has LOTS of energy. She’s incredibly patient, consistent, and really understands how to work with him in a way that keeps him calm and engaged. She’s also been such a huge help with short notice requests and a flexible schedule, which I truly appreciate. It gives me so much peace of mind knowing he’s in such good hands. Highly recommend!

Tyler was incredible with our active, anxious pup, Penny! He was so patient with her and even helped with leash training along the way. We really appreciated the daily updates and photos. He was quick to respond, easy to communicate with, and even added an extra day when we extended our trip. Total peace of mind and such a great experience… we’d absolutely book with him again!

I’m so grateful for Hazel! My dog has terrible anxiety and was unwilling to get out of the crate. She did everything she could to make him feel comfortable, was willing to come back to work with both of us to build trust, and has been immensely patient and communicative.
Anthony was extremely patient with our shy dog, and allowed him the time he needed to warm up. He also is familiar with the obedience training which was really helpful since our dog responds well and gains confidence that way. We will 100% book Anthony for all of our future walks and sits if he’s available!

If you are particular about your dog or your home, and need consistent reinforcement and even training while getting your dog exercised, Trever is the right choice! My dog has post-bathroom needs and Trever has not had any issues with addressing that thoroughly, as well as applying the cues that will help my puppy improve his behavior over time. He is so easy to communicate with, does not mind a million directions! He also shared that he is particular with things with his own dog and thus really understands how it is to be in my shoes. He also gives you plenty of notice if things come up on his end.

Aliyah was great! Showed up right on time, was in constant communication leading up to the dog walks to make sure everything would run smoothly. Took great care of our dogs and took them for a walk and to the dog park while we were out for the day. She sent us great pics of our dogs from the walk and kept us well informed of what was going on. I would highly recommend Aliyah to anyone looking for a reliable dog walker and/or dog sitter for their pet.

Missy was great!! She came in last min for quick walk session with my doggie. My doggie isn't the easiest but she made sure to do a meet and greet for the extra comfort. Provided detailed descriptions of the walks. And even left a cute doggie treat bag as she left. Very comforting and kind. Thank you again Missy!
