About: I have lifelong experience caring for dogs, cats, and a large variety of other pets! I am comfortable with feeding, fresh water, habitat cleaning, exercise, enrichment, safe handling, and following detailed care instructions. I also studied animal behavior and animal evolution at UC San Diego and completed a supervised animal behavior project. I am patient, dependable, and attentive to changes in appetite, energy, mobility, and behavior. I treat every pet according to their individual routine, comfort level, and personality. I provide drop-in pet care in clients’ homes and can work around each pet’s established routine. My availability varies by day, but I am flexible for scheduled visits, feeding, playtime, litter box care, and check-ins. I communicate clearly with owners and confirm all visit times in advance. I care for pets in their own homes, where they can remain comfortable in a familiar environment. I carefully follow feeding, medication, entry, and household instructions, keep doors and gates secure, respect the client’s home, and provide updates after each visit. I also monitor appetite, energy, litter box use, and behavior for any noticeable changes.

About: I have 2 years of experience working at a dog/cat daycare and boarding facility. There I administered feeding and medications to cats and dogs according to owner instructions. I provided enrichment activities, walked dogs on leash to and from kennels and in yards some with barrier reactivity and leash reactivity. I have experience with off-leash dog play, recognizing dog body language and behavior, and providing redirections and intervening when needed. Other than my time there, I have owned both dogs and cats. I currently have a 2 year old pit-bull/staffy mix named Leia and have owned pit-bulls my whole life. I plan on someday becoming a veterinary technician and helping animals in any way I can. I have a pet CPR/first aid certificate and will treat your pet as my own. I just moved to California from Virginia to be with my husband who is stationed here in the Navy, so I am currently in between jobs. My schedule is wide open and I would love to help in any way I can. I cannot currently offer in home services, but I will happily come by and do drop-in visits with your pet and may be open to pet sitting in the future. I am offering dog walking services and I have access to a dog park that I can utilize as well. I have experience bathing dogs and clipping nails and am open to do that for an additional fee. I will provide undivided attention and top of the line care for your fur baby! I have experience feeding and administering medications, recognizing dog and cat body language, walking dogs, and providing off-leash play and enrichment.

About: I’ve taken care of animals all my life. From reptiles, fish, bunnies/guinea pigs, cats and dogs! From babies to seniors My longest boarding was 1.5 months. I work/stay at home. So I’m usually very open with my schedule! Usually available every single day. I’m open to help any way I can! I have a fenced in yard, two story home. If you would like to keep your pet separate from mine that is very possible! I’m usually more comfortable with care in my home. But if it works better for me to check in that can also be arranged.

I am a nurse looking for extra weekend work, and what could be a better side job than working with dogs?! I’ve had dogs in my home since the day I was born, and don’t know a life without my best furry friends! I’ve worked with senior dogs, puppies, and dogs aged all in between. I have several years of experience loving and working with my parents’ dog who has cerebeller abiotrophy, a neurodegenerative disorder that requires him to use a wheelchair. About: I’ve been taking care of family friends’ dogs since I was a little kid. Dogs have a soft spot in my heart and I’ll do anything for them!! I figured going on Rover might be a good way to make extra money while also hanging out with pups! I have a corgi at home who is good with calm well-behaved (& older helps too) dogs, he needs a little more work/introduction when hanging out with hyper pups! I work from home full time Monday through Friday, but take breaks every couple of hours. My job is pretty low-demand when it comes to calls/meetings, I always have those planned at least a day in advance. My 1.5 year old Pembroke Welch Corgi is neutered, and my partner and I have him crate trained. When we leave the house or go to bed, he goes in his crate. Most of the dogs I’ve cared for weren’t crate trained, and had yards. I’m very open to taking dogs out to go potty with a leash if no yard is available, whatever it takes for them to do their business!

About: I have been a dog owner and have been caring for dogs, walks and sleep overs for close to 10 years now… I enjoy their companionship. I’m a single man with no children, I have plenty of time on my hands… my work hours are different every week, chances are I’m available more times than needed. Unfortunately, I cannot care for pets in my home. If I was two dog sit in a client’s home, I would simply follow their instructions.

About: My name is Carisa I am 29 years old. I was raised with dogs my whole life and have lots of experience with different breeds and ages! From puppies, to middle aged to senior dogs I have experienced it all. I live in a very dog friendly community with its own local dog park. I have fostered dogs for years and volunteer my free time to a rescue in San Diego. About: I grew up with animals my whole life. I have taken care of my parents animals as well as friends and family. I currently have a mixed breed named Champ and a havanese named Beaux. I communicate well, and will treat your animals as if they were my own. Because of teaching I am currently available after 3 during the weekday, however I am free anytime during the weekend or on school breaks! I am currently working at a school full time, thus nights (after 3 and/or weekends work best for me. I love being outside and exercising, and enjoy being able to have a fur-companion with me while I do so. I understand the importance of animals to a family, thus I would treat your pet as so. I am able to follow directions well, and do not mind any weather while walking. If you have a preference in distance of the walk I will make sure I do so each time.

About: Hello, San Diego! After 7 years of dedicated pet sitting in Los Angeles and a short break to complete graduate school, I’m officially back to doing what I love.
