I'm newer to Rover, but have been pet sitting for neighbors and family for 17 years, in addition to caring for my own pets! I've had the pleasure of loving and working with dogs of all shapes and sizes- from Frenchies to Great Danes, and everything in between. I'm comfortable with all ages from puppy to senior, and also have some experience caring for pets with special needs, including reactivity. My goal is to always meet your pet where they are, and take things at their pace so that they can have the comfort and care that they need, whether they want to be BFFs right away or just need some space and a calm presence. I treat every animal like my own, and love nothing more than showering them with love and watching them thrive! In addition to cats and dogs, I also have experience caring for a variety of other critters (namely reptiles, amphibians, and rodents) and am happy to help out with any other little buddies you may have.

Safety, trust & environment
I will always treat your home with the utmost respect, make sure that doors are locked at all times, and that pets are secure! I always leash and unleash inside with the door closed, and keep an close eye out for any furry escape artists when entering and leaving your home. I'll let you know if anything seems off, and am happy to do small tasks like bring in packages or taking trash cans to/from the curb. For walks specifically: For your dog's safety, we don't interact with other dogs or people during walks without your permission- if you have a friendly neighbor who likes to say hi to your dog, just let me know! With winter (and what feels like perpetual night) on the horizon, I have a reflective sash & leash and a lightweight LED light (dog tag size) that can be clipped on your dog's collar or harness for better visibility during darker hours.

Schedule
I'm available for drop-ins every day of the week in the mornings and early/mid afternoons, and later in the evenings. I'm usually busy with visits for regulars around 11am-1pm on most weekdays, and I typically can't do appointments from 4pm-6:30pm, or on Saturday evenings from 5:30pm-9:30pm. I try to be flexible and may be able to make exceptions, so please feel free to reach out!

- I would love to hear about your pet's routine, personality, and if they have any habits, preferences, or behaviors/triggers I need to look out for! Are they afraid of cars? Love peanut butter? Need me to sing a little song before they'll eat? You get the idea :) If your dog is leash reactive (or reactive in general) that's okay, just please let me know how that presents for them so that I can keep us both safe and happy. Additionally, please let me know if your pet has any food allergies and if they're allowed to have treats, if you need me to administer any medication, or if they have any other special needs that need to be addressed or accounted for. I do not accept bookings for puppies under 8 weeks old.
