About: I've taken care of my dog Lucy for 10 years from the east coast where we adopted her, to Denver where she fell in love with mountain hikes, to here at our current home in San Diego. Along the way, I've helped care for many dogs of friends and family members and can't imagine my life (or a trail) without a sweet dog companion. I'm a freelance writer and work completely from home (I'm also a military spouse and have a lot of extra time on my hands). My schedule and hours are completely flexible. I will keep my eye on your dog at all times and make sure to follow the care information closely. I'm patient and willing to take the time needed to make sure your pup has adequate care.

About: 👋🏼 Hello from Caroline and Scott! We have used Rover regularly to find care for our pup and kitty, and are excited to open our home to do the same for others. We would be delighted to board or check in on your pup/kitty while you are away. 🏡 We have a bright home with a large, fenced in yard that is turfed which is perfect for play time. 🐶 We have a 2 year old lab, and have very recent experience providing puppy care.🐱We also have a kitten who’s very curious and loves visiting friends. Your pup will get lots of play time in with us. **We ask that any pups stay with us must already be exposed to and good with cats. 🦮 We have the most experience caring for and have the perfect environment for Retrievers (We’re a bit biased 😅) but are of course open to caring for other breeds. I work full time from home, so I am readily available to care for your pup. Morning walks, play breaks in the back yard, and lots of fun in between! Once the day is over, we usually go on a walk and play in the back. ☀️ We’re usually up at 6am. Our pup sleeps with us. We have a kennel for any furbabies who need them. I work from home, so your pup will have someone with them the majority of the time. We treat any pups visiting us as family and will send lots of photos often so you are assured they are safe❤️

“Miranda has always loved animals of all kinds. As a child whenever she saw a hurt animal she would try to nurse it back to health even a bird and a moth. She had cats, dogs, turtle and fish as pets growing up that she took care of. While in High School she volunteered at the local Humane Society. She presently has a cat , Toothless, who she found abandoned in a parking lot as a baby. Toothless loves Miranda to death like she is her mother. Every time Miranda goes on vacation a stray animal seems to find her. They are drawn to her and she loves them all. When she is old I predict she will take in every stray cat and dog if possible. She just loves animals!!!”
