About: I have 2 years of experience working at a dog/cat daycare and boarding facility. There I administered feeding and medications to cats and dogs according to owner instructions. I provided enrichment activities, walked dogs on leash to and from kennels and in yards some with barrier reactivity and leash reactivity. I have experience with off-leash dog play, recognizing dog body language and behavior, and providing redirections and intervening when needed. Other than my time there, I have owned both dogs and cats. I currently have a 2 year old pit-bull/staffy mix named Leia and have owned pit-bulls my whole life. I plan on someday becoming a veterinary technician and helping animals in any way I can. I have a pet CPR/first aid certificate and will treat your pet as my own. I just moved to California from Virginia to be with my husband who is stationed here in the Navy, so I am currently in between jobs. My schedule is wide open and I would love to help in any way I can. I cannot currently offer in home services, but I will happily come by and do drop-in visits with your pet and may be open to pet sitting in the future. I am offering dog walking services and I have access to a dog park that I can utilize as well. I have experience bathing dogs and clipping nails and am open to do that for an additional fee. I will provide undivided attention and top of the line care for your fur baby! I have experience feeding and administering medications, recognizing dog and cat body language, walking dogs, and providing off-leash play and enrichment.

“Justin did an amazing job with our pups! His experience and knowledge made us feel so at ease while away knowing they were in good hands. We’re super happy we found him to watch our pack and the dogs clearly love him. Highly recommend!”

About: Hi there, I’m Maryelle! I’m from Orange County and have been living in San Diego for about 5 years. I am a nurse looking for extra weekend work, and what could be a better side job than working with dogs?! I’ve had dogs in my home since the day I was born, and don’t know a life without my best furry friends! I’ve worked with senior dogs, puppies, and dogs aged all in between. I have several years of experience loving and working with my parents’ dog who has cerebeller abiotrophy, a neurodegenerative disorder that requires him to use a wheelchair. My own pup is a tripod, and he is my angel! I used to volunteer with The Animal Pad, a dog rescue foundation in San Diego, which is also where I ended up rescuing my sweet boy. I have so much love for all animals, and I can work with pet parents to accommodate specific needs. I would be so happy to help with weekend check-ins and walks for your pup. Contact me for your weekend sitting needs ! I’m currently working as a nurse, and my availability is mostly on the weekends. Message me with questions and we can see what works! I am happy to learn about how you care for your animals and how I can continue that for your fur babies during check-ins and walks.
“Mariela took such good care of my two cats! She sent me update pictures and a great description of how the visit went each time. My VERY shy cat enjoyed her so much, Mariela even got some pets in! I had full peace of mind while away- and that’s priceless!”

About: I've been around animals for many years and have experience caring for both dogs and cats. I understand that every pet has their own personality and routine, so I take the time to make them feel comfortable and safe. I'm happy to follow feeding schedules, administer basic medications if instructed, go on walks, play with energetic pets, or simply provide companionship. I treat every pet as if they were my own and always prioritize their safety, happiness, and well-being. I’m currently working part-time so I’ll have plenty of time to play with your pups! I have very flexible schedule as well so if I’m needed, I can always stop by in addition to the already scheduled times. I try to be around as much as I can. For walks, I usually walk them earlier in the morning before it gets too hot for them.
“Allison took such great care of our two dogs! We got updates and pictures consistently throughout our time away. We felt so comfortable on our trip knowing our babies were in good hands. Definitely will book with her again!! Thank you Allison!!”

About: Dogs have always been a big part of my life, and getting to know each dog's unique personality is one of my favorite parts of what I do. Over the past 5+ years, I've cared for dogs of all breeds, sizes, and personalities from high energy pups who love to play to anxious or reactive dogs who just need a little extra patience and understanding. My own dog, Xochitl, has taught me so much about reading body language, building trust, and creating positive experiences for every dog I care for. She's playful, friendly, and loves making new friends, which has been a wonderful bonus for many of the dogs who stay with us. I'm experienced caring for puppies, reactive dogs, senior dogs, and dogs with medical needs, including administering oral medications, eye drops, following special diets, and sticking to detailed routines. Every dog is different, so I take the time to learn what makes them feel comfortable, happy, and safe. A few things you can always expect from me: 💛 5+ years of hands-on dog care experience 💛 Experience with large & small breeds, high-energy, anxious, and reactive dogs 💛 Plenty of walks, playtime, mental enrichment, and cuddles 💛 Regular photo & video updates (plus the occasional funny moment!) 💛 Careful attention to body language, routines, and your dog's individual needs 💛 A clean, calm, and loving environment where your pup is treated like family At the end of the day, I want you to have complete peace of mind knowing your dog is being cared for with the same love, patience, and attention I'd want for my own. I’m currently a full time student at San Diego City College with all online classes except one, which allows me to be flexible and attentive with pet care. I offer walks, drop ins, boarding, and house sitting, and I plan my schedule around each dog’s routine. I make sure dogs get consistent walks, playtime, meals, and any required medications, with plenty of attention throughout the day. I’m communicative and happy to adjust care based on your dog’s needs and comfort level ! My apartment is dog friendly and located in a safe, very walkable neighborhood. There are multiple designated areas nearby for dogs to use the bathroom, as well as several dog parks within a 10 min walking distance for dogs who enjoy extra exercise and social time. All outings are based on the owner’s preferences and the dog’s comfort level. Dogs in my care are always supervised, follow their regular routines, and receive attentive, structured care. When caring for dogs in a client’s home, I respect their space and maintain their established routines so pets feel comfortable and secure!
“Carmen was wonderful with my two cats while I was away for the week. She sent daily photo updates and was very responsive when communicating. If you are looking for a pet sitter, I would absolutely recommend Carmen!”

About: I've taken care of dogs and cats for most my life. I've had up to three dogs of my own at a time. Had to say goodbye to two of them last year. I have a one year sweet pup named Lucy that has been great around all dogs big and small. I work full time from home so I am more than happy to have your dog for the day while you're at work, or for the night if you're away. I can stop in to let your dog out throughout the day if needed. I do have 2 cats in the house so would need dogs that are cat friendly or ignore them. Look forward to meeting your pup! I do have a full time job, but I do work from home so I do have a very flexible schedule so I am available to take care of your pet during the week. I am free pretty much all day on Saturdays and Sunday I am very respectful of your home and belongings. I truly do love animals and I can assure you I will treat your pet(s) and spoil them just as I do my own

About: I’ve been around animals my whole life and grew up with three dogs and cats, so caring for pets has always come naturally to me. I’ve also watched and cared for neighbors’ and friends’ pets over the years, which has given me experience with different breeds, personalities, and routines. What sets me apart is how genuinely much I love animals and how seriously I take caring for them. I know every pet has their own personality and needs, and I always try to make them feel safe, comfortable, and cared for while their owner is away. Whether that means sticking to their normal routine, giving them extra attention, or just being patient and calm with them, I want them to feel as at home as possible. As a graduate student, I’m responsible, dependable, and organized, and I bring that same mindset into pet care. I understand that trust is a huge part of leaving your pet with someone, and I want owners to feel fully confident that their pet is in good hands. My schedule is very flexible right now, which allows me to be available for a variety of pet care needs. I’m available all weekdays and weekends! I always make safety and trust my top priorities when caring for someone’s pet. Whether I’m in my home or a client’s home, I make sure pets are in a clean, comfortable, and secure environment where they can feel relaxed and cared for. I pay close attention to each pet’s routine, including feeding schedules, walks, playtime, and any specific instructions from the owner. I know every animal is different, so I try to make the experience as stress free as possible by keeping things consistent and giving them plenty of attention, patience, and care. In a client’s home, I’m respectful of both the pet’s space and the owner’s home, and I always aim to keep things tidy and follow directions closely. My goal is to make pets feel safe and comfortable while giving owners peace of mind that their animal is in good hands.

“Chandler was amazing! I felt like she really cared for Pebbles, and took the time to send me updates and pictures/videos. Adorable! I will surely hire Chandler again when I need a pet sitter in the future. ”

“Our dogs and cats loved Ravit! It made our trip so much nicer to know that they were getting great care. Ravit even figured out how to get our incredibly picky dog to eat!”

“Kara's reintroduction to Athena after my girl, Sasha's passing went great. Kara was able to successfully walk my shy Athena with no issues. They also got some plank training exercises done! The photos Kara shared with me were reassuring all was going well. Athena and I look forward to seeing Kara in a couple of weeks! Kara, thank you!”

“Hollyanne & Donovan were great! They were very responsive and provided great care for my two cats! Will definitely be booking again! Thanks again! 😊”

About: I've been caring for animals for 25+ years; I grew up in a house with three cats, two dogs, and a freshwater fish tank. I'm a cat person at heart, but I love animals so much that I might actually love dogs more than the average dog person does. I also work full-time in a professional environment, so I understand how much trust and continuity matter for the care of your pet. I'm reliable, consistent, and treat every walk or check-in with the same seriousness I'd want if it were my own pet. Your pet's safety, comfort, and routine are always my top priority. I work full-time, but I'd love to check in on your pets or take your dog for long, weekend walks. My weekends are flexible, so I can build a consistent routine if that's what you need — or I'm just as happy to help out on an occasional or one-off basis, like a single weekend when you're traveling or just need an extra hand. Since I'll be coming to your home rather than mine, I treat your space with the same care and respect I'd want for my own. That means locking up when I leave, keeping to the routines you've set for your pet, and leaving everything exactly as I found it. I'm attentive to details — food, water, medication schedules, leash habits — and I always prioritize your pet's comfort and safety over rushing through a visit. You can trust that your home and your pet are in steady, careful hands.
“Evelyn was amazing. She really took the time to bond with our pet. We loved seeing the photos of our pet and Evelyn was incredibly thorough. I was so impressed with her attention to detail and her thorough note taking during our meet and greet. I highly recommend Evelyn to everyone. We had such piece of mind traveling out of country!”

“Nicole is the best of the best! My cats look forward to their visits with her! She really takes her time with them and gives them lots of love and attention! Really recommend her to anyone that wants their pet to feel comfortable when they are gone!”

I’m so glad Stass and I found Christine! She is so sweet, detailed and communicative. I travel a lot for work, and it brings me such peace of mind to know that Stassi is in great hands while I’m away. I am so grateful for the care and consistent updates she always provides. I 100% recommend her and have even asked to be a recurring client of hers! Thank you so much Christine!

Emily was absolutely wonderful with our dog! From the moment we met her, it was clear how caring, trustworthy, and attentive she is. She kept us updated with messages and photos, which gave us so much peace of mind while we were away. Our pup was happy, relaxed, and clearly well loved when we got home. We couldn't have asked for a better sitter, and we're so grateful for the excellent care Emily provided. We would happily book with her again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for someone kind, reliable, and genuinely great with dogs!

I'm so grateful that Destiny was able to help out when my usual sitter had to cancel last minute! She was very conscientious, taking proactive steps to look after my cat when there was unusually hot weather & other unexpected issues that came up! Thanks again!
It was wonderful to have Ginny come daily in the morning and feed my two cats. One of my cats is way more social than the other, and she was able to get the shy one out and eating while she was there and also pet him. I knew my cats were in compassionate, caring and competent hands.

Tina is an excellent cat sitter. She is a true professional. She is responsive, took good notes during our initial meeting, and sent thorough picture and written updates on my cat. She even suggested things I hadn't thought of, especially in case of emergency, which was very helpful.

Diesel is currently dealing with old dog vestibular syndrome, so I was pretty nervous about leaving him with a new sitter as my usual one was unavailable. Eric was great! He kept me updated with clear communication, sent plenty of photos, and gave extra care to support Diesel’s condition and progress. He even offered extra drop-ins to make sure Diesel was comfortable. That level of care gave me peace of mind while I was away. I will definitely be booking with Eric again. Highly recommend!

Hazel was absolutely wonderful with Marcy. She generously made time for a thorough meet & greet beforehand and was incredibly attentive to all of Marcy’s special needs and quirks. It was clear that she listened carefully and put real thought into making Marcy feel comfortable and safe. She also went above and beyond during the visit, including bringing a bag for Marcy’s own treats and handling her dog reactivity calmly and skillfully on their walk. Her communication was exceptional - she left a very detailed, thoughtful update with plenty of photos, which gave me complete peace of mind. Marcy clearly felt comfortable with her, and I would happily book Hazel again. Highly recommend!
