Treating Every Dog Like Family
I’ve been around dogs my entire life and have experience caring for a wide range of breeds, sizes, and personalities from German Shepherds to Chihuahuas and everything in between. Dogs have always been part of the family in my home, and I treat the dogs in my care the same way. I focus on creating a safe, comfortable, and welcoming environment while giving each dog the individual attention they need. I especially enjoy helping dogs feel secure and confident with me, whether they’re staying in my home or I’m caring for them in theirs. My goal is for both you and your dog to feel comfortable, happy, and at ease while you’re apart.

Qualifications
Ratings and reviews
Jessica was incredibly flexible and communicative. I’m in the military and my schedule is constantly changing which changed our booking last minute but she was flexible and we were able to figure something out that worked for the both of us. She sent a lot of pics of my dog and I could tell he was well taken care of!

As always, Jessica is fantastic. My dog loves being watched by her.

Jessica is always great with my dog Bowman

Schedule
I’m a student, so my schedule is very flexible and works well for pet care. I’m usually only away for a few hours at a time for class rather than being gone for a full workday. I also do much of my schoolwork from my computer, which gives me plenty of time to be at home with your pet or spend time with them in your home. Rover fits naturally into my routine, and I’m able to give pets lots of attention, companionship, and care throughout the day.

Home characteristics
Safety, trust & environment
I live in a condo and take safety seriously, especially when welcoming pets into my home. I have an additional pet gate at the bottom of my stairs for an extra layer of security, and I’m very careful with doors, leashes, and transitions in and out of the home. For added peace of mind, I can also use an AirTag on dogs in my care when appropriate. I focus on helping pets feel comfortable and secure by giving them plenty of attention, treats, affection, and time to settle in at their own pace. Most dogs warm up to me quickly and enjoy being close by, which helps create a calm, home-like environment while their owners are away.

A typical day
A typical day depends on the dog’s energy level and routine, but I like to keep things balanced between activity, enrichment, and downtime. We may go on walks around the neighborhood or to a nearby park, and for dogs who enjoy it and have owner approval, a trip to the dog beach can be a fun option. I also have interactive toys and enrichment games to keep dogs mentally stimulated, along with plenty of playtime, treats, cuddles, and time to relax. I try to follow each dog’s normal routine as closely as possible and adjust activities to their personality, age, and energy level. Some dogs want lots of play and adventure, while others are happiest hanging out nearby while I work on my computer. My goal is to make their day feel fun, comfortable, and as close to home as possible.

- Before caring for your pet, I like to know about their normal routine, personality, energy level, feeding schedule, medications, and any special needs or preferences. It’s also helpful to know how they do with other dogs, new people, walks, car rides, and being left alone. Please let me know about any allergies, fears, triggers, escape tendencies, or behaviors I should be aware of so I can keep them safe and comfortable. I also love knowing their favorite treats, toys, sleeping spots, and little quirks so I can help them settle in and feel at home as quickly as possible.
