About: I've been around dogs my whole life & currently have dachshunds of my own. I grew up with a Lab, so I'm comfortable caring for dogs of all sizes, personalities, and energy levels. Friends and family have trusted me to care for their pets for years, and I treat every dog like they're part of my own family. Pet care fits into my daily routine because I build my schedule around feeding, walks, potty breaks, playtime, and rest. I make sure pets stay on their normal routine as much as possible and get consistent attention throughout the day. Your pet's safety, comfort, and happiness are always my top priorities. I know how important it is to find someone you trust with your pet, and I'll care for them just like I do my own. I’m available for walks, runs, drop-in visits, or trips to the dog park. I’m active, reliable, and happy to match your dog’s energy level whether they love long walks or just extra attention and playtime. Your dog’s safety and comfort are always my priority. About: I had my 16 year old dog Dakota since she was a puppy until she passed away earlier this year and I've fostered multiple senior dogs over the last couple of years for Frosted Faces. I only accept small dogs (under 16lbs) for daycare and boarding with a max of 3 dogs at any given time so you can be sure your dog will get dedicated attention and not be overwhelmed. I work full time from home and my schedule is pretty flexible - I can take breaks as needed to take care of the dogs. I live in a one bedroom apartment, there is no fenced in yard but the door always remains closed. I wouldn't take any dogs out without their collar and leash on. There is a set of stairs to get up to my apartment (~12 steps), I can carry dogs up and down if needed. The apartment itself is one level and I have doggy stairs to get on the couch as well as a gate to keep them in a carpeted area if they need that for balance or anything.

About: I have over 20 years of experience caring for animals, including dogs and cats. I’ve had a cat for 8 years and raised kittens when I was younger. I love caring for animals of all personalities and ages, and I prioritize making every pet feel safe, loved, and comfortable. Since I work from home, I can provide plenty of attention, companionship, and personalized care! I work from home, so pet care fits naturally into my daily routine! I have a flexible schedule that allows me to provide plenty of attention, playtime, walks, and cuddles throughout the day. About: Growing up in Vermont I helped care for chickens, dogs and cats and did farm work. I’ve cared for animals as a house sitter for several years. I’m comfortable with special needs animals, puppies/kittens, and seniors. I’ve enjoyed sitting for a high-energy, stubborn boxer; an anxious and stealthy shnauzer, a reactive and spicy chihuahua, a huge young pit mix, and many more. I’ve taken dog training courses as a pet parent and stay up to date in learning and understanding dog and cat behavior and best practices for dog care and training. I was the grateful parent of a tripod (3-legged) rescue dog for 12 years. I also love cats and their various personalities! I tailor my behavior to the needs of the human and animal family. I have a grounded energy that animals respond well to. As a part-time cat sitter for a 12-year old lady Toasty (Tostada) I feed her small meals throughout the day to help prevent vomiting. I’m currently on a sit with a dynamic duo of felines, one friendly, curious goofball with special needs due to a genetic condition, and one territorial kitty who needs her *space*. I continually research how to meet each pets needs and adapt my behavior to make sure they are comfortable. I grew up with many family cats, from kittens, to a Maine coon cat, a goofy tabby, a sweet and peaceful trilling gray cat, and an elderly calico. Earning a cats trust and affection is a joy. When that’s not possible, I’ll take being tolerated and meeting their needs! I have good boundaries, make animals feel safe, and communicate well. I’d love to be a part of helping your animal family get the attention, exercise, and engagement it needs. I sit alone and am a responsible, wholesome person and solid communicator. I’m a freelance accountant currently working for a construction company in Point Loma. My hours are relatively flexible and I can work remotely. I can house sit as well as make time for walks. I tailor my care to meet their needs of each unique pet, asking questions, observing carefully, and doing research as needed. I am not currently taking on dogs for boarding in my own home. In my clients homes I am intentional, conscious, respectful, and communicative.
