I work from home so with them all day and close to a park for plenty of walks and outside time. I also have a dog who loves having guests and friends visit! I have a fairly spacious apartment and allow dogs to be on furniture and sleep with me and my pup. If you prefer crate I can accolade that as well!
“Kaitie took such great care of my two kitties!! During the meet and greet I could tell they already liked her and were warming up to her, even with my more cautious kitty. She always sent photos from every visit, which was super nice to see that they were happy and taken care of while I was away from home. 🐱💓”

About: Hi, I’m Illary! I’m a dog mom to two pups of my own, so I know how important it is to find someone reliable, patient, and caring to look after your pet. I have experience with different dog personalities and routines, including administering medication, following feeding instructions, and caring for dogs who may be shy, anxious, senior, or need extra support. I’ll treat your dog like one of my own and make sure they feel safe, loved, and well cared for during every walk or visit. I’m also happy to send updates and photos so you always know how your pet is doing. I work remotely on East Coast hours, so I’m usually free after 2 PM during the week to help care for your fur baby. Whether they need a walk, a drop-in visit, feeding, medication, playtime, or just some extra love and attention, I’m happy to help make sure they’re cared for and comfortable. I’m also open to weekend availability depending on the need. I offer dog walking and drop-in visits only. I’ll follow instructions, keep pets safe, secure your home, provide updates/photos, and respect your space and routine.
“Marcie was incredibly helpful while caring for my girls. She sent a ton of photo updates and really went above and beyond to help out. I appreciate her level of care and would 100% use her services again. Thank you, Marcie!”

“Danielle was so great with my two cats! I really appreciated her quick communication and her flexibility with their changing routines, since recently moving to a home with a dog. Her care and attention towards them made me feel super at ease. I will definitely use her again!”

“Clarisse has been such an incredible cat sitter for us while we were away! This was our first time using a cat sitter and being away from our sweet kitty, and we had such an positive experience”

“Tina was such a great help! We were concerned about leaving Sebastian for so long, but Tina made him feel happy and comfortable. We received constant updates about his well-being and lots of photos! She always asked us if she had any questions and gave thorough updates. We were perhaps most impressed by the care and attention she gave to making sure our cat was in good health the entire time (eating, mood, bathroom visits, etc.). She'll definitely be our go-to person next time we're out of town!”

About: I have three cats of my own (all successfully introduced as adults), and have spent my whole life taking care of the cats in my family. Over the past few years, I have been regularly caring for my friends pets when they go out of town for extended periods of time. I have cared for cats of all ages and personalities, from kittens to seniors and from outgoing to shy. I am also an artist, and will happily draw a portrait of your cat as an added gift with my care! I work part time at my day job 2-3 days a week from 9-5. I have a very open schedule, able to care for your pet any day whether that be morning, evening, or night. I have reliable transportation and don’t mind traveling throughout the county. When first cats, I allow them to approach me on their own to get to know me on their own terms. If allowed, I will given them a treat to let them know I am a friend. I will start off my visit by checking their food, giving them fresh water, and cleaning their litter box. Once I have spent this time around them, I will see if they are in the mood to either play or be pet. I will pay attention to their body language before initiating physical affection. If they seem like they are just in the mood to spend time in the same space without much interaction, I will either read a book or draw in my sketchbook so I can keep them company.

About: I'm a huge dog lover with a wide range of experience with dogs of all sizes and ages. I've dog-sat for neighbors, friends, and family, including dog sitting 5 dogs at a time. I have experience boarding a 4 month old puppy and also have experience with administering medicine to older dogs. I would be so excited to care for your pet! I am home during the work day and love going on daily walks around the neighborhood. I would be thrilled to have your dog as a companion! I work remotely from my apartment so I am always home M-F during work hours and love to have a furry companion. I love taking breaks in the day to go on walks around the neighborhood. On most weekday nights and weekends I am also available to hang out with your pet, with the occasional outting! I live in an apartment complex with a small balcony off of my unit. There is a dog park directly across the street from me. Your dog is welcome to sleep on my couch or in my bed if preferred!
“I appreciated the detailed messages Monica sent about my cat’s mood and behavior. Monica made it easy to trust that she could watch my cat for such a long time. I will use her again!”

West University Heights pet parents share their Rover experiences
We feel very fortunate to have found Jill! One of the things we appreciated right away is that she lives in our neighborhood, which made scheduling and communication very convenient. From the moment she came over for the meet-and-greet, it was obvious that she was completely comfortable with both cats and dogs. She asked thoughtful questions, took the time to get to know our pets, and immediately inspired confidence. Jill has cared for our pets twice now, including one visit with our Golden Retriever in addition to our cats. She took excellent care of everyone, sent regular, detailed updates with plenty of photos, and gave us peace of mind while we were away. We also appreciated the little things, like noticing and closing windows that had been left open before we left. We are already planning to book Jill again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a caring, reliable, and communicative pet sitter.

I can't recommend Emily enough! She is incredibly kind, trustworthy, and genuinely cares about my senior pup. I always feel completely safe leaving my dog in her care, which gives me so much peace of mind. She's also an excellent communicator and keeps me updated every step of the way. Even when my family threw a few unexpected curveballs her way, she handled everything with patience, flexibility, and a great attitude. We are so grateful to have found her!

Ana A. was very good with my two small pups and made me feel so much at ease. I had long weekend plans and was unable to bring my dogs with me, so I booked Ana to come feed them and walk them for 4 days. Ana was timely, communicative, very nice and I know my dogs felt comfortable and safe with her. This meant so much to me, thank you Ana!! Highly recommended.
Marcie did a fantastic job looking after our cats and went far above and beyond taking care of them when one of them got sick after we'd left the country. She took Huey to the vet twice, administered medication, isolated him as needed while keeping him company, while making sure Slinky was well looked after as well. The boys love her as do we, and we hope to work with her again soon!
