About: I currently have the privilege of having two senior dogs that have been in my care for 13 years. I am aware of the patience, love and commitment it takes, having and caring for a pet that solely relies on you. I am comfortable administering medications and dealing with food modifications. I have also helped foster in the past. I am home during the day, with light serving shift 3 times a week at night. Long or short walks are available, as well as playtime, boarding and overnight care. My home is your pets home! I love my neighborhood. While I do not have direct access to a back yard, I am super close to multiple dog parks and live in a very walkable neighborhood.

About: Hi, I'm Halle! I live in downtown SD with my roommate. We currently have a 20lb dog at home who I help take care of. My mom used to breed dogs so I am familiar with puppies as well. I've had all kinds of pets growing up from rodents to birds! As a small woman, I prefer small to medium sized dogs (under 50lbs) that I can physically handle in case they are leash pullers. I am happy to take care of larger dogs if they are more mellow. I am very flexible when it comes to scheduling. When housesitting, I can stay at your place for the majority of the day, but I no longer do overnight stays as I am a light sleeper and need to be in my own bed at night. Please note this before contacting me if you need overnight coverage. Every pet has different needs and personalities. I do my best to keep their routine consistent and familiar so they feel safe and calm while their family is away. I am open to accommodating whatever preferences you and your pet may have!

I’m Sarah, a lifelong dog lover who has always grown up with multiple dogs in my family (besides my freshman year of college in the dorms, which was a long enough break for me before I adopted a dog of my own again). I genuinely enjoy getting to know each dog’s personality and making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and cared for. Over the years, I’ve cared for dogs of all sizes and temperaments, from black Labradors and American bulldogs to smaller breeds like pugs. I’ve also dog-sat for friends, family, and neighbors many times, helping with walks, feeding, playtime, and overnight care. I currently have two pugs of my own, Bean (3) and Gus (5), who keep me on my toes and bring a lot of joy to my everyday life. Being a dog owner myself, I understand how important it is to find someone you trust with your pet. While this is my first time on Rover, I’m not new to dog care. I bring years of hands-on experience and a calm, attentive approach to every dog I care for. Whether your pup is playful and energetic or more relaxed and cuddly, I’ll treat them like my own and make sure they feel happy, safe, and loved while you’re away. I’m an elementary school teacher, so I currently have the summer off, which gives me a lot of free time during the week and a very flexible schedule. During the school year, I still have consistent mornings, evenings, and weekends available for pet care. Pet care fits naturally into my routine because I already structure my day around my two pugs and am used to taking on that sense of responsibility and consistency. I’m used to managing feeding/walking schedules, routines, and daily needs. I also enjoy being active and spending time outdoors, so incorporating walks and check-ins is something I genuinely look forward to. In my home, pets would be cared for in a calm, safe, and supervised environment. I have two very friendly pugs, Bean (5) and Gus (3), who are social, gentle, and get along well with other dogs. I always do slow, supervised introductions to make sure everyone is comfortable. Dogs in my care get regular walks (at least 2–3 times a day depending on their needs), along with plenty of attention, playtime, and rest. I also have a securely fenced outdoor area for quick potty breaks, but I prioritize walks for exercise and enrichment. My goal is to make visiting dogs feel at home while keeping a structured, safe routine so they feel comfortable and cared for during their stay.

About: I’ve had dogs and cats my entire life and I love watching them. Also, I’ve had lots of experience with puppies over the past few years and can keep up your training habits while you’re gone! I work in an office normally from 7am-12pm Monday-Friday so typically I can do afternoon and evening services during the week and mornings on the weekends. I used to rover quite a bit in 2024 but took a break in 2025 to travel, just getting back into the routine for 2026. I live in an apartment with no pets! I have a roommate so I prefer drop in visits at your place, but can accommodate if necessary. Typically, I take dogs on multiple longer walks during the day and quick laps around the block at night time.
