About: I have a Mini Australian Shepard of my own who is 3 years old, whom I trained myself. He is very well behaved. Additionally, I’ve been a dog and cat sitter for friends and family over the past 5 years. My service will include lots of walks, love, and play time with your pet. I’m currently working part-time so I have plenty of time to play with your pups! I’m available all day on weekends and on weekdays after 6 p.m. Although I live in an apartment, I do have access to 2 fenced dog parks across the street and I live close to Balboa park which makes for great walks!

About: I used to have a cat and a hamster and currently own a dog (does not live with me). I have personally trained him and he is now living with my family! I currently go to college in the morning so my availability will be the afternoons along with the weekends in the afternoon and night! I can do boarding on the weekends while caring during the afternoon on the week days! I enjoy playing or relaxing with your animal depending on what they like to do! For dogs, there is a pet relief area in my apartment building however if they are not comfortable with that and/or you have a senior dog, i do have fake grass on my patio right outside of my apartment!

My wife and I currently share our home with Callie, our friendly 8-year-old terrier mix who loves meeting and playing with other pups. We also cared for our beloved Daisy for 17 wonderful years. We treat every dog like family—with patience, affection, attention, and plenty of fun. I work from home, so your dog will have company and supervision for most of the day. I typically take dogs for a daily lunchtime walk and can provide frequent backyard play and potty breaks. A few times each week, we visit local dog parks or dog-friendly beaches for dogs who enjoy those outings. If your dog prefers quieter activities, we’re equally happy taking an extra walk or enjoying relaxed playtime at home. Our one-story home has a large, securely fenced backyard where dogs can safely play and enjoy fresh air. We have plenty of cozy dog beds and create a comfortable, supervised environment indoors and out. There is one flight of stairs at the entrance, but everything inside is on one level. That said, we still feed dogs separately as a standard precaution and never leave visiting dogs unsupervised together. 📸 Our camera roll is already full of Amaru photos, so sending you regular pictures and updates of your dog throughout the day comes naturally. 🚨We’ll also collect your vet’s information and an emergency contact before the stay, and we’ll reach out right away if we notice anything unusual. I also understand that every dog is different, some want lots of activity and play, while others do better with a slower pace, extra patience, or a more structured routine. My goal is always to make dogs feel comfortable!
About: I currently have the privilege of having two senior dogs that have been in my care for 13 years. I am aware of the patience, love and commitment it takes, having and caring for a pet that solely relies on you. I am comfortable administering medications and dealing with food modifications. I have also helped foster in the past. I am home during the day, with light serving shift 3 times a week at night. Long or short walks are available, as well as playtime, boarding and overnight care. My home is your pets home! I love my neighborhood. While I do not have direct access to a back yard, I am super close to multiple dog parks and live in a very walkable neighborhood.

About: I am innately an animal lover and advocate and will treat your pet as it were my own. I have been pet sitting for over a decade. I get super nervous leaving my own dog, so do everything in my power to ensure you and your pet are comfortable. From a young age, I was the kid that would come home with an injured wild animal asking my parents to help it. I grew up with a German Shepard and greyhound, and now have my own dog, who’s a pitty/boxer/cattle dog mix. I understand every dog has different needs and equipped to take care of high energy, intelligent dogs who need a lot of exercise and stimulation. I’ve taken care of small and big dogs as well as cats and bearded dragons. I’ve fostered dogs as well, so am familiar with anxious animals that need TLC and time and space to decompress. I currently have open availability from early morning through evenings during the week and weekends. I do long walks every morning and evening and keep pets on a consistent feeding schedule. I typically aim to take pets on walks 3 times a day depending on the animal needs and client’s requests. I also ensure adequate playtime with toys and activities that are engaging. “It was our first time ever having our dogs stay at someone’s home vs going to a boarding facility. Jennifer and Donald were awesome with our 2 Weimaraners, who can be demanding and a handful. We got photos and sometimes videos on a daily basis, which helped put our minds at ease during our vacation over Thanksgiving. We could see that our dogs were getting great walks, being properly fed and in a loving environment. Jennifer and Donald were also very accommodating when our drop off time had to move up an hour early in the morning. All in all, we highly recommend them.”
