“Brenda did an awesome job looking after my two cats, notoriously shy, she got them to hang out and play! I already asked her to do another drop-in, she’s super reliable and the cats seemed very happy with how much time she spent with them!”

“This was our first time using Rover and Nicole made us so comfortable with the drop in experience. She was on time, provided pics and detailed summary of the visits. Definitely recommend Nicole :)”

“10/10. Jessica was really great with communicating with me while I was out of town. She gave Pico her meds everyday and gave updates. 100% glad Jessica was my sitter and would rebook her again.”

About: I've had taken care of multiple dogs from pug, beagle, and boxer all of which me and my family have taken care of since they were puppies. Currently my family has a pug, Angelo, who is 8 years old and I also take care of my cousin's beagle who is 9 years old. My cousin has trusted me with dropping in and feeding her beagle, along with feeding and playtime. I'm currently a full-time college student, who loves to be with animals and take care of them. Winding down with animals helps my mental health and with my class schedule allows me to have more time take on new challenges. For drop-ins, I would love to have a feeding schedule along with a safe environment to get to know pet and owner. Many toys and treats to play/help train pet be more comfortable in a home. In addition to helping the pet being comfortable with new people.

About: I've had dogs my entire life, and caring for them has always been a big part of who I am. As a lifelong dog owner, I understand that every dog has unique needs, routines, and personalities. My own dog is now a senior and can't enjoy the long walks and hikes we used to take together, so I'd love the opportunity to spend that time with other dogs who still enjoy those adventures. I've been caring for neighbors', family friends', and relatives' dogs since I was young, giving me experience with dogs of all ages and temperaments. I've also helped with puppy training and understand the importance of consistency, patience, and positive reinforcement. I'm flexible, dependable, and detail-oriented. Whether your dog needs a strict routine followed closely or a customized schedule based on their individual needs, I'll make sure they receive attentive, loving care. My goal is to treat every dog like my own and give owners peace of mind while they're away. My schedule is very flexible, which allows me to provide dependable and attentive care for your pets. I work part-time both from home and at a local coffee shop, but my shifts are typically only about four hours long. This makes it easy for me to accommodate morning, afternoon, and evening visits, walks, and check-ins. I enjoy staying active and spending time outdoors, so I’m happy to fit pet care into my daily routine and give your pets the attention, exercise, and companionship they deserve. When caring for pets, my top priorities are safety, comfort, and maintaining their normal routine. For house sitting, drop-in visits, and dog walking, I carefully follow all instructions regarding feeding schedules, medications, exercise needs, and household rules. I understand that every pet has a unique personality and comfort level, so I take time to build trust and make sure they feel secure while you are away. I also provide regular updates, photos, and communication so you can have peace of mind knowing your pet is happy, safe, and well cared for in their own familiar environment.

“Stefanie helped us with a couple lunchtime drop ins for our 5 month old lab pup Evie. Stefanie was timely and sent updates throughout the visits. She also included fun photos and left detailed notes on her visits. Thanks again Stefanie!”

“Call was awesome when I needed a Drop-In for my pup on a relatively short notice. She was attentive to his peculiarities, particularly his colder-shoulder to anyone new in the house - which she handled with ease. Trustworthy, kind and reliable, Call is the exact person you’re looking for to take care of your pets. 10/10 will book again. Thanks Call!”

“Caity is a wonderful cat sitter. Kind, patient communicative, and thorough, she took incredible care of our beloved cat, Kuma, over 2 days. She took the time to get to know Kuma and make him comfortable with her presence. She quickly read his moods and needs, and made Kuma's first extended stint alone as easy as possible for both him and us - going well above and beyond what we had hoped. She sent us multiple fantastic photos and a report on how he was doing each visit - very comforting for two first-time cat owners. We'd work with her again in a heartbeat and are so happy to have found Caity!”

I genuinely love animals and treat every dog like they’re my own. My goal is always to make pets feel happy, cared for, and stress-free while their owners are away. I have a full time job but I am free after 5pm and on the weekends! I live a very active lifestyle and love walks! I am a graduate student with a flexible schedule, so I have plenty of time to spend caring for critters, especially during the upcoming summer break! I am very careful and safety-conscious, so you can be sure I will leave your home secure and comfortable for your pets when I visit.
“I had such a great experience with her! My cat can be a little particular with new people, but she warmed up to her right away, which says a lot. She showed up exactly when she said she would, followed all my instructions carefully, and clearly took the time to make sure everything was done properly. It gave me so much peace of mind knowing my cat was in good hands. I’ll definitely be rebooking and would absolutely recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable, caring sitter.”

About: I have been caring for pets for as long as I can remember and have taken an active role in their care from a young age. Over the years, friends and family have frequently trusted me to pet sit for them, giving me experience with a variety of animals and personalities. My experience includes feeding, bathing, walking pets, administering medication, and taking them outside for potty breaks. In my free time, I also foster animals through the San Diego Humane Society, which has strengthened my ability to care for pets with different needs and temperaments. “This is our second time booking with Michael. He took very good care again of our three kitties. Home was clean and despite not asking him to he washed the pet dishes for us so that was nice. Thanks, Michael.”

“I have three very picky kitty cats. I set up a meet and greet with Sara knowing full well that all three of the cats would scatter and she might not see them at all that day. Boy was I wrong instead of running two of them came to the door to greet her. The third cat didn't run away and even let Sara come pet her! I think it is safe to say that Sara does have some magic or charm that my kitty cats fell in love with. I felt secure and safe having her taking care of my cats, going above and beyond even. I felt at ease giving her the key to our house knowing everything would be okay. I also love using Rover because that is an extra measure of protection for my home and pets. Thank you Sara and Rover!”

About: My friends and neighbors count on me to check on and sit their animals, and I regularly walk my own pups with their neighborhood furry friends. I grew up with Rottweilers, and have embraced small dogs in recent years. I'm 6ft and 200lbs, and am comfortable with a variety of sizes of dogs. I currently have total flexibility in my schedule and am happy to help with pet care throughout the day. I'm just getting started on Rover, but I've been a dedicated pet parent for almost a decade and love the way it enriches my life. I'd be happy to extend the same level of care and understanding I give to my own pets to yours. I live with my two pups in a small condo complex, where I have an enclosed back patio and immediate access to a very walkable neighborhood. I am comfortable entering friends' homes and allowing the animals to acclimate at their own pace, and am just as happy taking pets for walks as I am keeping them company in their own homes.
