About: I’ve grown up around both big and small dogs, including Labs and Chihuahuas, as well as Dobermans, and German Shepherds. I’m very comfortable caring for pets with different personalities and needs. I currently live with a roommate who has a Lab and a cat, so I’m around both dogs and cats regularly. I’ve also had experience pet sitting for friends, family, and others, and I understand how important it is to make sure pets feel safe, comfortable, and cared for while their owners are away. I’m responsible, attentive, and happy to follow each pet’s individual routine and needs. I am currently working part-time that is during the day. So I can work evenings, the weekends and sometimes during the week on my days off. My apartment is clean and pretty big. There is a lot of places to walk the dog and go to the bathroom near my apartment
About: Hi! I’m an 18-year-old college student who has always loved being around dogs. I’ve helped care for family pets and dogs belonging to friends by feeding them, taking them on walks, playing with them, and making sure they feel safe and comfortable. I’m responsible, dependable, and will treat every dog like they’re my own. I understand how important pets are to their families, and I’ll always make sure they get plenty of attention, exercise, and care while you’re away I’m a college student with a flexible schedule, so I have plenty of time to give your pet the attention they deserve. I’m available most afternoons, evenings, weekends, and can work around your pet’s routine. I always make sure pets are safe, comfortable, and well cared for. I’ll follow your instructions, keep a close eye on your pet, provide plenty of playtime and walks, and treat them like they’re part of my own family.

About: I’ve loved growing up and taking care of both my dogs and cats alike. Family, friends, and neighbors have entrusted their adorable pets in my care numerous times. I enjoy long/short walks, quick hangouts, and checking in to make sure their pets are safe and sound! I’m currently a university student and have plenty of time between classes during any day of the week to check on and walk your loved pets. I unfortunately can’t take any pets in my own home. However, in my clients home I will happily care for their pets as instructed.

About: Hi! I’m Andrew, a student at San Diego State University who genuinely loves spending time with dogs. I’m reliable, responsible, and active, making me a great fit for dog walks and drop-in visits. I’ve helped neighbors in the past with dog-sitting and have only had positive reviews! I’m currently a college student with a flexible schedule. I’ll also be working part-time, but I only have two classes each week, which gives me plenty of availability for walks and drop-in visits. I’ll always keep my Rover calendar updated so you know exactly when I’m available. I know pets are part of the family, and I’ll treat yours with the same care and attention I’d give my own. I’ll always follow your pet’s routine and any instructions you provide, making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and well cared for while you’re away.
About: Grew up with rottweilers, great danes, labs, and pitbulls. Also spent lots of time around farm animals with my family or when I volunteer. I am currently a SDHS foster as well! I am a college student working part time so my days usually have many breaks throughout them as my classes usually arent back to back. I have the utmost respect for you and your home and want nothing more than to help you and your pet out with the help needed.
About: I’ve been surrounded by dogs for most of my life, and caring for them is something I truly love. I’ve also been dog sitting for family, friends, and neighbors here and there over the years, and during Covid, I would watch one of my close neighbor’s dogs for about a year. Now I’m excited to finally turn that passion into my job through Rover. My family has adopted rescue dogs from local shelters since I was 10 years old. Our first dog was Lucy, a sweet Chihuahua mix who completely stole our hearts. A few years later, we welcomed our sweet boy, Axle, into the family. Sadly, we lost both of them last March, but they’ll always have a special place in my heart. Today, I have two adorable little rascals who keep life fun! Fiona is our pit bull mix, and Rocky is our Chihuahua mix. Fiona was one of the most challenging dogs I’ve ever worked with, but with lots of patience, consistency, and love, she has come such a long way. Watching her grow has taught me so much about understanding each dog’s unique personality and needs. Every dog deserves kindness, patience, and plenty of love. I treat every pet as if they were my own, and I look forward to giving your furry family member the same care, attention, and affection while you’re away. I work part-time, which gives me a flexible schedule and plenty of time to provide loving, dependable care for your pets and extra loving attention. I treat every pet as if they were my own. When caring for pets in your home, I’ll follow their normal routine as closely as possible, including feeding, fresh water, potty breaks, walks, playtime, and any special instructions. My goal is to make your pet feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you’re away, and to give you peace of mind knowing they’re in caring, reliable hands.
About: Hi there! I'm a passionate teenage dog lover with a lifetime of hands-on experience caring for dogs of all ages, sizes, and personalities. I've grown up in a home full of tail wags and wet noses—dogs have been part of my life since I could walk, and caring for them is second nature to me. I have years of experience pet sitting for friends, family, and neighbors, and experience in giving senior dogs the extra TLC they need. From gentle walks and soft beds to administering oral medications with care and patience, I'm dedicated to keeping your pup safe, happy, and loved while you're away. Whether your dog is playful and energetic or calm and cuddly, I tailor my care to fit their unique needs and routine. I'm dependable, attentive, and treat every pet like they’re my own. You can expect lots of pictures and updates as I value communication to limit your worries and ensure that your dogs are being properly taken care of while you are away! Let me give your furry friend all the love and attention they deserve. Your dog will be in great hands—and you’ll have peace of mind every step of the way! 💕🐶 I am student at San Diego State University so I do have a routine class schedule but aside from that I am free and flexible to work around my classes. I am available to provide service at client’s home daily. I am able to do potty breaks, love check-ins, walks, runs and outdoor adventures at whatever time frame works best for your pet’s lifestyle. I will keep clients’ homes clean and locked when I’m not there to ensure the safety of your home and pups!
About: My love for animals has always been great and that allows friends and family to trust that I can sufficiently take care of their adored animals. I’m currently in summer school, but that does not prevent me from being available any day of the week for however long. I can adapt to odd schedules with ease. I am open to working at any home or environment and able to afford the care and attention that any animal may require out of me.
“This was my first time using Rover for any services, and I’m entirely pleased with the care that my puppy received! I have a busy schedule and adopted a new puppy that needs more attention than I can give right now, and Dana helped my puppy transition to her new life. I came home every day to a clean space, and a happy puppy! Dana is a reliable and caring puppy sitter!!”

About: I've been surrounded by animals my whole life by dogs, cats, birds, fish, turtles, and at 40+ years in, my love for them has only grown. I've pet sat for many households and have a natural ability to handle all kinds of personalities, energy levels, and needs. I'm a verified member of Trusted House Sitters (in which the primary is pet sitting), and I take that seriously. I'm experienced with medically complex pets. I've administered subcutaneous fluids, insulin injections, and oral medications. I also have cared for special needs animals including a three-legged seizure-prone Chihuahua, a teacup Chihuahua with broken elbows, and a German Shepherd with cow-hocks disease. If your pet has extra needs, they're in capable hands. My approach is calm, grounded, and playful and animals feel it. I'm a certified hypnotherapist and life coach, and the same energy awareness and patience I bring to people, I bring to pets. Anxious, shy, and difficult animals tend to soften around me naturally. My sister didn't call me the Cat and Dog Whisperer for nothing. :D I have a soft spot for the ones others overlook. I've rescued an abandoned Chihuahua-Terrier, adopted a shelter pup, and my two boys Bruce and Charlie came to me as feral kittens nobody else wanted. Every animal deserves patience, consistency, and genuine love and that's exactly what I bring to every walk and drop-in. I'm a San Diego local with regular availability in LA County as well, so wherever you are, I've got you covered. My schedule is flexible and I'm available most weekdays and select weekends, morning through evening. I don't operate on a rigid 9-to-5, which means I can work around your pet's needs rather than the other way around. Outside of pet care, I'm an active, outdoorsy person and love hiking, kayaking, and paddleboarding. That energy carries directly into every walk and drop-in. Your dog won't just get a stroll around the block, they'll get someone who genuinely loves being outside and moving. Your pet's safety and your peace of mind are my top priorities always. I follow your established routines closely and take detailed instructions seriously. Every home, every pet, and every owner is different, and I respect that. When I'm in your home I treat it with care. I leave things as clean or cleaner than I found them. Your space and your pet's environment will be respected. I'm extremely mindful of doors and escape artists. I know how quickly a curious pet can bolt, and I create my own blockades when needed to make sure no one slips out unexpectedly. I'm comfortable walking multiple dogs simultaneously including large, high-energy breeds. I've walked a Rottweiler and German Shepherd together, both with strong pulling tendencies, and handled them with confidence. You'll never wonder how your pet is doing. I send photos and updates daily including sometimes multiple times a day because I know how much you miss them and how much it means to see a happy face pop up on your phone. I also have hands-on experience with pet first aid, including applying Quik Stop for bleeding so minor mishaps are handled calmly and quickly without panic. Your home, your routines, your pet I've got all of it handled.

“Stefanie took amazing care of our 2 fur babies. I love that she got on their level and played with them! Our cats were well loved while we went on vacation for a week. Highly recommend and we will be returning customers!! Thank you Stefanie.”

About: I’ve been pet sitting since I was 15 and have experience caring for both dogs and cats of all ages and personalities. I’ve cared for puppies, including helping with potty training, as well as senior dogs who may need extra patience, attention, and care, including assistance with diapers and other senior needs. I truly love getting to know each pet and making them feel comfortable, safe, and loved while their owners are away. Over the years, I’ve become best friends with every dog I’ve had the pleasure of pet sitting! I also have two dachshunds of my own at home, so I understand how much our pets mean to us and how important it is to have someone you can trust with them. I’m currently a full-time student at San Diego State, but I have every afternoon free during the week and I am completely open Friday-Sunday. I would be available for overnight pet sitting Thursday-Sunday, but possibly more than that depending on location. I will not be able to care for animals in my own home due to roommates, but I will ensure that your pet feels comfortable in their space and give them patience to warm up to me. I will give them plenty of attention and affection whether it’s walks, playing, cuddling, petting, or just keeping them in a routine. I also understands pets that are on the shyer side and take a bit more time to warm up, and I will give them the space they need until they feel more comfortable opening up.
About: I’ve been caring for and walking dogs ever since I was 10. I’ve handled both puppies and older dogs. I love spending time with all dogs and making them feel as special as they are. By giving walks, cuddles, and attention your dog is sure to feel happy and safe with me I’m taking online classes which makes me currently completely available and flexible to taking care of your pets. I can adjust to whatever you need in order to take care of your furry friend. Walks, playtimes, and attention anytime during the day will bring me absolute joy. When caring for your furry friends, I will treat your space as such I do mine. I will follow your instructions carefully and ensure that I leave you home as you left it. I will provide updates whenever taking care of your pets and make sure your furry friends receives the love they deserve

About: I have taken care of dogs my whole life, back home I have four dogs, one beagle, one husky, one labrador and one border collie so I know how to take care of different breeds. I've also had my neighbors, friends and cousins rely on me to care for their dogs, feed them, take them on walks and play with them. I really love dogs and I miss my dogs every single day! I am a full time student but I have a flexible schedule. I am available Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays on the mornings from 6-10 and after 3pm, and open availability whole weekend! “Callahan was wonderful as a cat sitter in every way! She responded right away and booked at very short notice. Our cat warmed up to her right away. Callahan sent great photos and communicated very thoughtfully and enthusiastically. We are really grateful and look forward to booking again with her!”

About: I served as president of my dog 4-H club for three years and was a member for five, giving me extensive hands-on experience in training, showmanship, and overall animal care. I’ve also worked for a professional AKC handler, where I helped show and care for her dogs. I’ve house-sat for multiple ethical AKC breeders, with particular experience in training, showing, and caring for Doberman Pinschers and Border Terriers. So I am comfortable with animals of many sizes and temperaments. I grew up with five dogs and was the primary caretaker from the age of 10, so I truly understand the responsibility and consistency animals need. I've worked with dogs from neo natal puppies to senior dogs. I’m very attentive to each dog’s individual needs and emotional cues, and I’m comfortable setting healthy boundaries when needed. If you ever feel your dog could use extra support on walks or with behavior, I’m happy to work with them to make things easier and more enjoyable for both of you. I’m a student at SDSU with a flexible schedule, which allows me to prioritize pet care throughout my day. I already share responsibility for a dog at home, so caring for animals is part of my normal routine. I plan my classes and commitments around walks, feedings, playtime, and check-ins, making it easy for me to give pets consistent attention and care. I am given lots of good time off and have a very light schedule. I always prioritize safety, comfort, and consistency in both my home and my clients’ homes. I follow each pet’s routine closely, respect training boundaries, and carefully monitor behavior and body language. I’m experienced with crating when needed, leash safety on walks, and maintaining a clean, calm environment so pets feel secure and cared for.

Kristieann was an absolutely incredible sitter for my senior puppy. She was extremely kind and caring for my old girl and was able to come during the middle of the day to look after her, pet her, brush her, and giver her company while I was at work all day. She has made a noticeable difference in my dogs life and I am so grateful for her help and I highly recommend her for any service she offers.

Thank you so very kindly Sara! 🙏 We will remember you for next time we need a cat whisperer! I'm so impressed that you even got my brother's cats to come out and interact with you! Bravo! He mentioned they'd probably just stay hidden the entire time! Thank you for also staying the full hour each time. I appreciate your compassion and honestly. ❤️ Victoria

I’ve been using Susanne for several years now, and I can’t recommend her highly enough. My cats absolutely love her, which gives me such peace of mind whenever I’m away. She takes wonderful care of them, and I always know they’re safe, happy, and well looked after. Susanne also consistently goes above and beyond. She doesn’t just take great care of my pets—she makes sure everything in the house is clean, tidy, and taken care of as well. She’s dependable, thoughtful, and genuinely cares about the animals she looks after. I feel completely comfortable leaving my cats and my home in her hands. Highly recommend!

Mackenzie did an awesome job watching our two cats! She is a great communicator and is very kind. Her calm demeanor helped our shy cats warm up to her right away. We felt very comfortable and at ease knowing our babies were in good hands. I would definitely book Mackenzie again!
Elisabeth is amazing! She came to meet my pup, took her time with his shyness, & asked lots of questions. She was early each day and left a detailed Rover card with pictures upon leaving. I felt so much better about leaving my pup at home knowing he was safe in her hands! Getting to see pics of him and a report about how he was doing has been a delight. I definitely recommend her for your pet needs!
