“Stefanie helped us with a couple lunchtime drop ins for our 5 month old lab pup Evie. Stefanie was timely and sent updates throughout the visits. She also included fun photos and left detailed notes on her visits. Thanks again Stefanie!”

“I had such a great experience with her! My cat can be a little particular with new people, but she warmed up to her right away, which says a lot. She showed up exactly when she said she would, followed all my instructions carefully, and clearly took the time to make sure everything was done properly. It gave me so much peace of mind knowing my cat was in good hands. I’ll definitely be rebooking and would absolutely recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable, caring sitter.”

“Caity is an awesome sitter!! I knew the moment she met the cats that they liked her and they are pretty picky with people. After that moment we fully trusted her and she continued to affirm our trust! She sent detailed notes and took adorable photos of our kitties. She even gave us some ideas for our boy cats pooping issues. Highly recommend and would book again!!”

“Rebooked with Audrey and we could tell our cats remembered her. They were more comfortable and playful with her the second time. Great updates and pictures every day!”

About: Hi! I’m Graceleigh, a lifelong animal lover with years of hands-on experience caring for animals of all kinds. I was raised around dogs, cats, goats, horses, pigs, llamas, and chickens, so caring for animals has always been a natural part of my life. Growing up, I always had a dog by my side, and being around animals has truly shaped who I am. When I moved away for college, I missed having a dog so much that I began pet sitting and dog walking to stay connected to them. Over the years, I’ve cared for dogs of all ages and personalities — from energetic puppies to sweet senior dogs who need a little extra patience and care. I understand that every pet has unique needs, and I always strive to make them feel safe, comfortable, loved, and well cared for while you’re away. In addition to pet sitting, I’ve also volunteered at animal shelters in my hometown before moving to San Diego, and I plan to continue volunteering here as well. Animals have always held a special place in my heart, and I genuinely enjoy building trust and bonds with them. Whether your pet needs long walks, playtime, cuddles, medication support, or simply a calm and reliable companion, I’d love the opportunity to care for them like they’re my own! I am very flexible! I don’t have a set schedule. So I’m always open! I am in the United States Coast Guard as a reservist! I absolutely love pets. I will make sure to give your fur baby plenty of attention, walks, playtime, food, water, and lots of love and affection.

About: I’ve been around dogs my entire life and have experience caring for dogs of all ages, personalities, and needs. I cared for my own dog for 16 years, which gave me hands on experience with everything like daily care and exercise to senior dog care. I’ve also helped raise newborn French Bulldog puppies, so I’m comfortable with young puppies, feeding schedules, monitoring, and providing extra attention and care. In addition, I have experience fostering dogs, which has helped me work with different temperaments and make pets feel safe and comfortable in new environments. I genuinely love animals and treat every dog like they’re my own. My goal is always to make pets feel happy, cared for, and stress-free while their owners are away. I have a full time job but I am free after 5pm and on the weekends! I live a very active lifestyle and love walks! I live in a very secure apartment with a dog park located on the premises and great walking trails nearby! I can crate your dog if needed.

“Whitney has watched my kitties twice in a row now, and both times was able to schedule on short notice! At one point, I was feeling anxious because one of cats wasn’t coming out to see Whitney and I worried he had gotten stuck in one of the rooms we closed. Whitney took my concerns seriously and went back to check on him first thing the next morning (he was fine, I’m I just a worrywart).”

“Devon did a great job with my doggo! She has great ideas for training that I haven’t thought of and she seems to naturally attuned to what he is thinking and what he needs. My dog is really odd, so this is not an easy feat. I’m really glad that I found Devon and I will definitely seek her help with Tucker long term!”

“It was a pleasure working with Michael! This was my first experience on Rover and he made it a great one. Michael not only medicated, fed, and played with with my moody cat, but he also sent adorable photos and detailed updates to ease my mind during my travel. I will definitely call him again (and you should too)!”

“Brenda did an awesome job looking after my two cats, notoriously shy, she got them to hang out and play! I already asked her to do another drop-in, she’s super reliable and the cats seemed very happy with how much time she spent with them!”

“Gabrielle took great care of my kitties while I was away. She came by before the booking to meet them and ask questions. After stopping by and feeding them she updated me with photos and notes. I really appreciated getting photos and knowing they were being well taken care of. I would definitely book her again. Thank you so much!”

About: I’ve grown up with a lot of animals in my family, and a dog of my own. I have years of experience in dog walking, bathing, feeding, and cleaning up after. I am currently finishing up my semester at SDSU before the summer starts! I am taking courses, but I have a ton of free time, and I can always make room for your pets! I will ensure that the environment is suitable for your pet and I am able to do whatever is requested while walking or pet sitting.
“Matt was exceptionally good! Despute taking the job on short notice, he administered ear washes so well that when I returned my dogs ear infection was virtually gone. He was wonderful and I fully intend to use him going forward.”

About: My mongrel 3 legged dog lived to 16. Later, my pure bred Dalmatian lived to 16. Yours will be happy and safe. I am sitting to get the enjoyment of being around pets while earning money enjoying myself. I am retired. I am planning on pet sitting because I like the idea of spending my time with pets without the obligation an owner has of being home constantly. I like to travel. I have no pets. Two enclosed outdoor spaces(Both the size of a large room). Substantial open green spaces surround my townhouse condominium. My home has 1433 sq ft of indoor space on one level. I find pets prefer to be wherever the humans are. Which suits me just fine.

About: In addition to caring for my own lovely cat and senior pup, I have pet sat for friends and family members regularly for the past 10+ years. I have experience with fur babies with a range of quirks, behaviors, and medical needs, so I am prepared for anything that comes my way. I am a graduate student with a flexible schedule, so I have plenty of time to spend caring for critters, especially during the upcoming summer break! I am very careful and safety-conscious, so you can be sure I will leave your home secure and comfortable for your pets when I visit.

About: Ever since I was 8 years old, I have absolutely loved looking after my family and friends’ dogs. So much so that my parents adopted two dogs of our own! I have looked after dogs of all ages and sizes, accommodating accordingly to every dogs’ needs. As for cats, I love them too!! While I don’t have any of my own, I have taken care of cats several times. From feeding to bathing, I can do it all. I can ensure that I will look after your pet with love and respect for you. I promise to follow any instructions you set for your pet while maintaining a safe and fun time! Over the summer, I am a part-time student so I will have plenty of time to play with your pups or cats! I am available for onboarding most weeks from Friday-Sunday. I am also available for walks and house sitting during the same days. Other than those days, I am willing to discuss any day besides Friday-Sunday if my schedule permits. Within my own home, I have a fenced yard with turf. The yard isn’t too big, about enough for a potty break. When a walk is needed, we can stroll the neighborhood! Our home has AC as well as fans to keep your pets cool during the summer heat. The living room is also big enough for a medium/large crate. In your home, I feel comfortable with anything you would like me to do in order to make you and your pup/cat comfortable. I promise to care for them with the utmost attention and respect!
“Took such good care of our two kitties! Sent plenty of pictures, played with them a bunch, and always kept us up to speed with how they’re doing. Will be having her watch our cats again and would highly recommend!”

“She did an amazing job taking care of my dog Bolt. She was responsible, on time, and kind. She kept me updated through the visit. Bolt was super happy. I would definitely book with her again and highly recommend her.”

“Sara was very professional and amazing to work with. She communicated well throughout, from the time we met and then scheduled to have her check in on Catness. She sent photos and spent time with Catness and Catness adored and enjoyed that time as well. We will definitely reach out to Sara again the next time we plan to be away!”

Del Cerro pet parents share their Rover experiences
I’m so grateful Miranda watched Penny and Daisy for me! She was incredibly caring, attentive, and communicative throughout the entire stay. I loved getting updates and knowing my girls were happy and comfortable. It’s obvious she genuinely cares about animals, and I wouldn’t hesitate to book with her again.

Jennifer was absolutely phenomenal with our cat, Seaweed, while we were away. 💛 She was thoughtful, proactive, warm, and incredibly reassuring from start to finish. For each visit, she sent detailed updates, adorable photos/videos (😭😍), and little observations about Seaweed’s personality/behavior that made it SO clear she genuinely cared and was paying close attention to her. One of our biggest concerns while traveling is Seaweed’s medication administration (she requires an oral pill twice daily), and Jennifer handled this flawlessly. Not only did she successfully administer her meds as needed, but she also kept us informed on what worked best along the way, making the entire process feel low-stress, thoughtful, and intentional. Having someone we fully trusted while away gave us so much peace of mind. Jennifer went above and beyond, and we would HIGHLY RECOMMEND her to anyone looking for a caring, patient, attentive, and reliable sitter for their pet(s). We’ll absolutely be booking with her again in the future. Thanks again, Jennifer!!! 🙏❤️
