“Aria has watched and cared for Sierra prior to me joining rover. She has done a great job communicating with me and taking care of Sierra. This included overnights and giving her a pill each day. She has a dog of her own named Millie who gets along with Sierra.”

About: I recently graduated from New Mexico State University and moved to San Diego. I have been a pet sitter/walker for about 5 years for friends and friends of friends in my community, as well as taking care of my own for 15 years. I have one sweet chihuahua and a torti cat! I have experience walking different dogs as I volunteered for dog walking for Petsmart and Petco when they have adoptions. I am responsible, kind-hearted, and compassionate for animals. While in my care, I will always ensure the safety of your pets as if they were my own. This is currently my only job so I am able to be with your pets as often or as long as needed! I know some pets may require more attention than others and can work with their schedule. I will treat your pet just like I do mine. Plenty of attention, make sure they have food, plenty of water, and any other special things they like during the day
About: Full time pet care professional - your pets are my priority! I’ve never met a dog I didn’t love, and I can’t wait to meet yours! Every pet is unique, with their own personality, and I am excited to take care of them and earn their trust to become a reliable sitter that they enjoy seeing. Fast paced and playful or laid-back and lounging, conforming to your pets lifestyle is important to me - I also send updates at least once a day, as well as pictures, so you don’t miss your babies too much! About Me: As a full time sitter, I get lots of 1 on 1 time with my furry guests! I love having a head to pet or ball to throw throughout the day, and spend a majority of my time at home with my ever-growing, extended fur-family. I have extensive experience with fear-free basic training, including walk fundamentals, as well as trust building training and practices. I am also well versed in administering medications (liquid, pill, and subcutaneous) to pets with special needs and health conditions, including senior dogs (I love a frosted face!) I have a darling, 15 year old, Chinese Crested named Kovu who spends her golden years napping and welcoming her furry friends with a sniff and a shake. Having two special needs dogs in recent years, I know how hard it is to leave your little loves behind. I am also independently insured as a pet sitter, daycare provider, pet trainer, and pet taxi through Pet Care Insurance (PCI). About My Home: My home features a large, fenced-in yard on a quiet street with tons of space for pups to run around and play. When the weather allows, they’re given free rein of the inside and outside of my home. The maximum time a dog is ever alone in my home is 2 hours (when I need to grocery shop or go to an appointment), but there is always a dog-loving adult family member home in case of an unexpected emergency. I am not a sitter who boards as many pets as possible, as that is too stressful on the dogs and is not the kind of care I would want my baby to receive. I only allow up to 2 pet families to book on any day, and my rates reflect the individual attention, love, and calm environment that your pups receive in my care. I like to have a hands-on approach when pet sitting, and anything we can do together, we do together! Pups love coming over to my home because they know they’re in for a fun time!
About: I helped take care of my first family dog for 10 years and I adopted a super sweet shelter dog last year. I unfortunately had to leave her at home with my parents while I attend college out here in San Diego so I am always happy for any opportunity to get some time with any furry friends. I love taking care of pets and helping them be as happy and healthy as possible! I just finished my 3rd year at SDSU studying Civil Engineering and this summer and I am going my first internship. With that, I am busy during weekdays but I am available weekends. Being around furry friend always helps me destress so I would love to house sit during the weekends! My availability lists Saturday and Sunday as I cannot do full days on Friday, but I am available after 6PM! I am able to maintain feeding and exercise schedules, make sure that there are no possible dangers to pets either in house or out and about on walks, and I just generally love spending time with animals to give them the care and engagement they need and deserve.
“Paige is wonderful with my dog, who has leash anxiety. As our regular dog walker, she is always punctual and communicative. On our first visit, Paige took the time to ask thoughtful questions about his triggers, routines, allergies, treats, and do’s and don’ts before starting. She handled him calmly and patiently, making safety and positive interactions a clear priority. I really appreciated how attentive and understanding she is, which gave me peace of mind knowing my dog was in caring, capable hands. Highly recommend!”

“I have a 155lb Great Dane and I am very weary of letting just anyone walk him because of his size and strength. Caity might not be big, but she’s mighty! The first walk I got cute pictures and updates, and when she showed up for the second walk it was like I no longer existed and it was the Oceyn and Caity show! That made me feel good that he has a good time with her. I’m pregnant and on bed rest so I can’t walk him myself… but even when I can walk him again I still plan to keep Caity around 😊”

About: Ever since I was 8 years old, I have absolutely loved looking after my family and friends’ dogs. So much so that my parents adopted two dogs of our own! I have looked after dogs of all ages and sizes, accommodating accordingly to every dogs’ needs. As for cats, I love them too!! While I don’t have any of my own, I have taken care of cats several times. From feeding to bathing, I can do it all. I can ensure that I will look after your pet with love and respect for you. I promise to follow any instructions you set for your pet while maintaining a safe and fun time! Over the summer, I am a part-time student so I will have plenty of time to play with your pups or cats! I am available for onboarding most weeks from Friday-Sunday. I am also available for walks and house sitting during the same days. Other than those days, I am willing to discuss any day besides Friday-Sunday if my schedule permits. Within my own home, I have a fenced yard with turf. The yard isn’t too big, about enough for a potty break. When a walk is needed, we can stroll the neighborhood! Our home has AC as well as fans to keep your pets cool during the summer heat. The living room is also big enough for a medium/large crate. In your home, I feel comfortable with anything you would like me to do in order to make you and your pup/cat comfortable. I promise to care for them with the utmost attention and respect!
“Very happy and glad Jessica could help us with a last minute appointment to walk out beagle, we got great pictures and updates on his walk! Would be happy to book another walk with her again!”

About: I've had dogs my entire life, and caring for them has always been a big part of who I am. As a lifelong dog owner, I understand that every dog has unique needs, routines, and personalities. My own dog is now a senior and can't enjoy the long walks and hikes we used to take together, so I'd love the opportunity to spend that time with other dogs who still enjoy those adventures. I've been caring for neighbors', family friends', and relatives' dogs since I was young, giving me experience with dogs of all ages and temperaments. I've also helped with puppy training and understand the importance of consistency, patience, and positive reinforcement. I'm flexible, dependable, and detail-oriented. Whether your dog needs a strict routine followed closely or a customized schedule based on their individual needs, I'll make sure they receive attentive, loving care. My goal is to treat every dog like my own and give owners peace of mind while they're away. My schedule is very flexible, which allows me to provide dependable and attentive care for your pets. I work part-time both from home and at a local coffee shop, but my shifts are typically only about four hours long. This makes it easy for me to accommodate morning, afternoon, and evening visits, walks, and check-ins. I enjoy staying active and spending time outdoors, so I’m happy to fit pet care into my daily routine and give your pets the attention, exercise, and companionship they deserve. When caring for pets, my top priorities are safety, comfort, and maintaining their normal routine. For house sitting, drop-in visits, and dog walking, I carefully follow all instructions regarding feeding schedules, medications, exercise needs, and household rules. I understand that every pet has a unique personality and comfort level, so I take time to build trust and make sure they feel secure while you are away. I also provide regular updates, photos, and communication so you can have peace of mind knowing your pet is happy, safe, and well cared for in their own familiar environment.
About: I have had a family dog my whole life. My current pup is a 2year old mini goldendoodle that is about 25lbs. He is high energy and loves play time, long walks and going to the dog park. I work remote full time so I am home with my dog the majority of my day. Any pet in my care would get the same treatment as my own. Multiple walks, a trip to the park and of course regular feedings. My pet is free to roam my apartment, I have a balcony that he also has free access to during the day. I keep the door open for him.
About: I’ve grown up with dogs all my life. I also volunteered at an animal shelter when I was in high school. My fur baby Leo was my everything so I understand the importance of having a thoughtful, caring, and detail oriented individual watching your pets. I want to make sure that not only your pets needs are met but yours as well. I want to create a comfortable and safe environment for your pets. I work a hybrid schedule and can spend the day with your pet if that’s a need! Although I do not have any cats I do have some experience playing with anxious cats. I know it can take them a while to come around but once they do it’s so rewarding. I am more than happy to check in on your cats and make sure they have some company. I am currently working full time but a hybrid schedule so I can spend the day pet sitting or just do drop ins. I can do potentially do weekends with advance notice. In the clients home I’ll make sure your pets are comfortable. I’ll check in with the client and see if there are specific schedules or routines I should follow. I’ll make sure your pet is safe and create a trusting environment for them.
About: I have two dogs of my own, a Great Dane and a Poodle mix, so I know firsthand how nerve wracking it is to hand your dog off to someone you don't know. I get it! I'm not just a sitter, I'm a dog owner who actually understands what you're trusting someone with. And as a Great Dane owner, giant breeds and big personalities are my comfort zone. No size is going to phase me! I run my own creative business, so my schedule is genuinely flexible in a way that most sitters can't offer. No 9 to 5 I'm working around. I can typically accommodate drop ins and walks at times that actually work for you, not just whatever's left in my day. I'm the dog mom who leaves a five page document for my own sitters, so trust me, no request is too silly. Special feeding routine? Weird little habit your dog has that you think "how will I explain this to the dog sitter"? I want to know. I'll follow it. And I always send photo updates so you're not just sitting there wondering how your pup is doing.

About: In addition to caring for my own lovely cat and senior pup, I have pet sat for friends and family members regularly for the past 10+ years. I have experience with fur babies with a range of quirks, behaviors, and medical needs, so I am prepared for anything that comes my way. I am a graduate student with a flexible schedule, so I have plenty of time to spend caring for critters, especially during the upcoming summer break! I am very careful and safety-conscious, so you can be sure I will leave your home secure and comfortable for your pets when I visit.

Del Cerro dog parents share their Rover experiences
It was my first time using Rover, and I’m so glad I found Daniel for dog-walking services! I was out of town for 6 days and needed assistance with 3 walks per day. Daniel was punctual, communicative, and super-friendly. My dog connected with him instantly, and I will definitely be rebooking Daniel for my future needs!

Jesselle is a lovely person and dog walker! Due to an injury, I booked her for a week to help me out in the morning with my sometimes stubborn separation anxiety type Corso. Being as Jesselle had listed she has large dog experience, I felt more confident she would be able to handle my dog. She is very sweet, very kind, on time professional and my dog absolutely loved her after the very first day. Made me feel so much more confident as I navigated the help that I needed. I am very thankful and appreciated of her and highly recommend her.

Ana is an absolutely incredible dog walker who is consistently punctual, highly communicative, and wonderfully reliable. She has a natural gift with animals, and our pup lights up with joy every single time she arrives. If you are looking for someone who provides top-notch care and total peace of mind, Ana is the perfect choice!

William is fantastic to work with. From our very first interaction, he is extremely communicative, professional, and attentive. He took the time to ask thoughtful questions to get to know Gucci, her personality, routines, preferences, and any special needs. It was clear that he genuinely cared about providing the best possible experience for her. His attention to detail, communication, and genuine love for pets truly set him apart.

Miranda has been absolutely amazing with my young Australian Shepherd, who has LOTS of energy. She’s incredibly patient, consistent, and really understands how to work with him in a way that keeps him calm and engaged. She’s also been such a huge help with short notice requests and a flexible schedule, which I truly appreciate. It gives me so much peace of mind knowing he’s in such good hands. Highly recommend!

Andrew is awesome! He’s such a fast walker so when he takes my dog on a walk it’s a WALK. My high energy pup always gets at least 2.5 miles in with Andrew and it helps so much on days that I am out of town. Andrew is also very detailed in his reports, responsive, and a pleasure work with

Mackenzie does an amazing job with my extremely high energy boxer. Boo is usually super hyper and can be a bit of a jumper, but Mackenzie does an amazing job of getting her calm and taking her on walks. I can certainly say that Boo comes back very satisfied and gets excited when I say Mackenzie’s name.
