About: Having lived with animals for over 30 years, I have a lifelong love of animals. I have experience caring for a variety of animals from cats and dogs, to reptiles and small mammals. It is incredibly rewarding to see how my love and care positively impacts the animals I care for! I know firsthand how stressful it can be to leave your pet in someone else's care. My time will be dedicated to ensuring that your animal is comfortable and cared for during your time away. Since my partner and I work from your home, your animals will always have someone with them. You will also receive regular updates via text so you never have to worry. I am also happy to accommodate any special requests related to care. To ensure safety, vaccinations and flea medication must be up to date for cats and dogs. I work from home and have a very flexible schedule. I can adjust my routine as needed based off your pet's needs. For dog walking and drop-ins, I can come to your home up to twice a day. Boarding: Dogs are primarily kept inside. Dogs are walked in the morning and evening and given bathroom breaks throughout the day. Playtime outside in the backyard is supervised. Food is divided up into three meals a day. Cats are strictly kept inside. Cats have access to multiple litter boxes that are cleaned daily. Amenities include scratching posts, cat trees, and bedding. You will receive an update each day on how your pet is doing.
“Matt is an exceptionally awesome dog walker. My energetic Airedale terrier loves him and I REALLY appreciate the ground he covers with her outdoors in a short period of time!!! With Matt I know she is actually getting a lively energetic vigorous outing (as opposed to an amble and sniff) which makes all the difference when I'm at work. Photos of her are panting/smiling/happy outdoors. If you have a smart/hunting/working dog or a high-exercise needs dog, Matt is who you want. Seriously. Also he gave my pup extra TLC/company when she was in surgery recovery and he didn't even know us then. Such a kind person.”

“Andrew has been amazing for our two dogs! When he says he can handle high energy dogs he truly means it! Our dogs go running with him during the week, and I’ve never seen them so happy. He communicates well and often, and has been very accommodating. 1000% recommend and will continue to ask him to take care of our pups!”

“I am so thrilled with Sara! My pups are high energy and she really put them to work on their walk and provided so many updates! She went above and beyond just the walk and I know they had a blast. Will be booking her again!!”

About: With years of experience in dog care, I’ve had the joy of looking after pups of all breeds and personalities. I’m well-versed in giving each dog the love, attention, and exercise they need, while also ensuring their health is a top priority. I’m comfortable administering medications, whether it’s routine care or something more specific, so you can rest assured your furry friend is in safe, capable hands. Taking care of my pets is a regular part of my day and week. I make sure they eat, groom, and get exercise on schedule. Whether it's walking them in the morning, playing with them in the evening, or giving them cuddles before bedtime, I always prioritize their needs. At home or at my clients' places, I make sure pets have everything they need. That means feeding them, giving them water, and playing with them. I also clean up after them and give them lots of love and attention to keep them happy.
“Mackenzie was very nice. She had no problem coming in and getting to know Nikko. He’s a puppy so his energy is high and she did great with him. I’d recommend her if you’re looking for someone reliable to walk your dog.”

About: I have been caring for dogs for most of my life, starting with my childhood dog, Rocky, a King Charles Spaniel, whom I helped raise and take full responsibility for until I left for college. This included daily feeding, walking, grooming, playtime, and attending to his overall well-being. In college, I lived with a toy poodle named Milo for a year and played a major role in his care and upbringing. Since my roommate had never owned a dog before, I helped guide her through basic dog care, routines, and behavior. I regularly dog-sat Milo whenever she traveled and continued caring for him even after we all moved out, ensuring consistency and comfort for him. What sets me apart from other sitters is my hands-on, long-term experience with small breeds and my ability to step in confidently and responsibly when pet parents are away. I’m attentive to individual personalities, patient with dogs who need structure or reassurance, and committed to maintaining routines so pets feel safe, loved, and stress-free in their owner’s absence. I am very active with communication and will not hesitate to ask any questions or send as many or as little updates needed. I work full time but primarily from home, only going into the office about once a month. This flexible schedule allows me to be present and attentive throughout the day, making pet care a natural and consistent part of my daily routine. Since I’m not overly busy during work hours, I have plenty of time to provide companionship, playtime, regular walks, and enrichment activities. I enjoy breaking up my day with pet care, whether that means taking dogs out for potty breaks, going for walks around the neighborhood, or visiting nearby parks for extra exercise and stimulation. Because I’m home most of the time, pets are rarely left alone and receive frequent attention, supervision, and affection. Pet care fits seamlessly into my weekly routine, and I love having animals around to keep me company while ensuring they feel happy, active, and well cared for. I prioritize safety, trust, and clear communication in every aspect of pet care. Before caring for a pet, I rely on the owner to share detailed information about their pet’s needs, preferences, routines, and any likes or dislikes so I can provide consistent, personalized care. I follow these instructions closely and maintain regular communication with pet owners by sending updates, photos, and messages, as well as reaching out immediately if I have any questions or concerns. In my home, I provide a calm, pet-friendly environment. I have no pets of my own and only live with 2 other adults, no kids. I live in a gated apartment complex, which adds an extra layer of security. For this reason, I am best suited to care for potty-trained pets. The complex has multiple designated grassy areas specifically for pets, allowing for frequent potty breaks and regular walks throughout the day. Whether caring for pets in my home or in a client’s home, I respect their routines and ensure they feel safe, comfortable, and well cared for. I am attentive to cleanliness, leash safety, and supervision at all times, and I make it a priority to create a stress-free environment where pets can feel at ease while their owners are away.
About: Hey, I’m Kay! What started as helping friends has grown into a business I truly love. I specialize in multi-pet overnight stays, ensuring each animal feels safe, happy, and cared for while you’re away. I understand all pets need more than just a potty break and a walk. I strive to ensure all are well stimulated and fulfilled, in whatever ways fit your pet best! I’ve raised 2 dogs, Casey James, a purebred poodle who overcame his reactivity, and Josefina Jane, a fun-loving labradoodle both are now happily retired with their grandparents. Here in California, I have no pets of my own meaning I have even more love, attention, and energy to give to yours! 😊 I pet sit full time and recently joined Rover to fill any gaps in my calendar. I’m willing to travel anywhere but my clientele keep me mostly in Southern California. This is not just a hobby for me, I love to be around all animals! I focus on in home pet sitting, giving animals space to stay where they are comfortable and keep their routine the same! I make sure to meet each pet where they are!

“Michael is a huge help with our girl Nala! She is anxious and afraid of most people but took to Michael bc of his patience and experience. Thank you for getting Nala to come out of her shell more during her weekly walks!”

About: Before I moved to California, I would watch my church friends cats and dogs whenever they went on vacation. I also have two cats and a dog of my own and they are sweethearts. I currently work at a hospital and I work 12 hour shifts but it’s at night, so I can watch and walk your babies during the day! When I first got my babies they were all scared of me because they were shelter babies. With my dog it was quicker for her to warm up to me I would give her treats and I would just sit in her area for times at a day and eventually all she wanted to do was play and cuddle with me….I think I might have spoiled her a little to much because she cries when I leave now lol. But my cats oh my they took a while, lots of treats and being in their area. Trying to get them to play with toys and then eventually they just opened up to me.

About: Grown up with a variety of pets all my life. Helped raised a puppy a few years back and have grown up with three dogs. I also love walking so I thought…why not combine the two for a job? I also have a senior dog who needs daily shots, is blind, and has diabetes. I can easily fit in pet care into my daily routine if needed. As of right now, afternoons work best for me after 1:30 pm. Any day of the week besides Monday and Wednesday. Monday and Wednesday I am free after 4! I think it’s highly important to follow the clients rules and instructions when caring for their pet. I find it best to always have an awareness of the pet(s), so if any problems arise, you can handle it right away.

I love and care about animals and will take great care of your pets! Pet care fits into my weekly routine because since I have been away at school, I have missed my pets tremendously. At home, I provided constant food and water, lots of attention, and walked my dogs every single day. I miss taking care of them and having animals around. Since I can not have pets of my own at college, I wish to take care of your pets. I care for pets by spending lots of time with them. Pets deserve love and attention. Keeping them fed and making sure their water is always full. Providing medicine when they need it. Letting them outside to use the bathroom. And providing walks for dogs daily.
“We had such a great experience with Calynne! She took the time to stop by for a preview visit beforehand to make sure she and our pup were a good match, which I really appreciated. It made us feel immediately comfortable and confident that he would be in great hands. During her visit she was patient, attentive, and gave him so much love — even leaving him a few treats before heading out. It’s clear she genuinely cares about the pets she works with. We’re so grateful for her time and care, and will absolutely be booking her again!”

Rolando dog parents share their Rover experiences
Matt is a dog whisperer! He did a fantastic job walking our 75-pound pit mix, Rosie, for an hour each morning for 8 days. He was very punctual, great at dealing with Rosie’s habit of scrounging for food and her dog reactivity. He also took the sweetest photos for Rosie’s walk report cards. We will absolutely book Matt again!!

Ashli is amazing!! She went far and above in all areas that make the person caring for your fur baby great. Always on time, super prompt and responsive communication, flexible with scheduling ..and she is our pibbles new best friend. 😍 I could not more highly recommend her if I tried too. Thx Ashli!!!
